Mummy, Tumpah….

Today evening, when I went to my in law’s place, I saw Charlotte half naked (only wearing her top). The moment she saw me, she told me “Mummy, tumpah”. Then I asked her what “tumpah”. She cam and hold my hand and brought me to the room. She was not scared at all even when the room light is not on.

I on the light and she showed me that my FIL’s medicated oil spilled all over the floor. When she told me “tumpah” and showed me the room, I’ve suspected that she spilled the oil coz’ she was eyeing on it since afternoon. She actually twist open the cover and even pull out the stopper. My MIL was too into her drama while my maid was bathing Keith. While I was busy finding for cloth to wipe the floor, the naughty girl pee and even stepped on it. She walked out of the room and told me “Mummy, wet.”

She was laughing coz’ she actually dirty the floor with her pee.

No.3 on the way

It’s not a planned pregnancy this time but an accidental one. I didn’t want to have another baby as I am very comfortable with my two cheeky monkeys. Oh well…since God wants to give me another one, I have to accept it. I am 8wks plus right now and my EDD will be on the 25th of August.

Nausea is not as bad as the first one. In fact I hardly vomit this time. But, my mood really swing. I get irritated very fast and I cannot stand the children making so much of noise. My belly can be seen already. I guess it’s because I was too thin before the pregnancy and now, people can easily notice my belly.

At first, Keith was not so happy about the news when I told him that he’s going to have another baby brother or sister to play with. He kept telling me I don’t want. I want only Charlotte. Please tell God to take it back. He even told me that he’ll “KILL” the baby. When I asked him why he didn’t want another baby brother or a sister, he said the baby will fight with him next time.  When asked whether the baby is a boy or a girl, he kept telling me it’s a boy.

He told me not to talk to him about the  baby anymore next time. That was his first reaction when we broke the news. After a week, he woke up one morning telling me that he wants to hug my belly and wants to kiss and talk to the baby. I was really surprised with the sudden change of mind. Well, I guess God and the guardian angels came and talk to him in his dream.

I do hope I’ll be able to cope with this pregnancy. I am so stressed, lack of sleep and too busy with my 2 kids. I am trying to stop breastfeeding as the doctor advice to do so. It’s dangerous as the baby grows older and I might have an early labour. I’ve started to cut down Charlotte’s feeding during the day and try to give her formula. Hope so in the next 1 or 2 mths time, I’ll be able to stop breastfeeding her completely.

Bali 2009

I’ve always love Bali and don’t mind going there again. I’ve even suggested to hubby to get a house there.Hahaha…and he said that I am mad. Bali is such a wonderful place to walk around and I felt peace and relax whenever I go there.

We got very cheap tickets from Airasia and paid below RM200 for a return trip each. This trip was suppose to be Hubby and I, his cousin and his wife. But, hubby decided to bring both of them last minute. He even paid a bomb for Keith’s ticket. It was a 4 days 3 nights trip and we really enjoyed ourselves. Hubby’s cousin got sick on the second day but we still go on without them.

We were quite lucky to be there coz’ Hard Rock was celebrating Founder’s Day and it was also the Sea Cleansing ceremony at Bali. The people of  Bali are sending all the status and etc into the sea.

As for Founder’s Day, there were lotsa activities. Food stalls and games. We won CDs and also tickets for the Founder’s Day celebration entree at the Hard Rock Cafe. Without the tickets, we can also entre coz’ we were staying there.

Bali was great and I am hoping for another trip next year.

Phuket 2009

Phuket is one of my hubby’s favourite place. Mine is Bali. This year, we made a trip there by road during Raya. Four cars convoy and it took us about 8 hours to reach there from the border. We went on the 19th of October and came back on the 22nd of October. We left the border at about 10 a.m. and stopped a few times for nature calls and also braekfast and lunch. By the tome we reached Phuket and checked into the hotel, it was about 7.30p.m. We went to our favourite dinner place at Bangla Road and just went for a stroll along Bangla Road after dinner. After that, we went back to the hotel early to sleep as it was a tiring journey on the first day.

On the 2nd day, we went shopping at Junkceylon. The ladies and the children went for the fish therapy. I made hubby put his feet into the aquarium as well. It was kinda ticklish and we were not allowed to move our feet too much as it will kill the fishes. After that, went back to the hotel to get ready for out Fantasea show. The transport was suppose to come at 8p.m. but due to miscommunication, all of us got ready at 6p.m.

At the entrance of Fantasea, there’s a man made pond with lotsa fishes inside. We can actually buy fish food to feed the fishes.

IMG_3961When we threw the fish food into the pond. The fishes almost jump out of the pond.

The kids enjoyed the Fantasea show and also the games. We’ve won a few soft toys from the games as well.

On the third day, we went for shopping along the roadside and also Junkceylon again. After that, we parted with the group coz’ I wanted to bring the kids to the beach. What’s the point of coming to Phuket if we don’t even step foot at the beach. The kids enjoyed the sunset, the sand and the waves. We went back at about 7.30pm as Ruby was soaked wet and she didn’t bring extra clothes to change. Charlotte and Keith always got an extra pair of clothes in the baby bag. We went back, took our shower and went for the roadside wan tan mee. I really like it. We had to order twice coz’ the portion was so small (I am not a greedy pig..haha) We went for a walk at a nearby bazaar after that. At about 10.30p.m. we went back to the hotel and put the kids to bed so that we can go to the pubs nearby. Hubby and I didn’t stay long at the pub coz’ I was having severe backache due to walking whole day without sitting down.

IMG_3989 IMG_4007

We wanted to stay for another day but the rest wanted to go back the next day. No choice, we have to follow them back on Monday (22nd Oct). Well, it’s a nice holiday and I can’t wait for another holiday soon.

Testing Keith’s Six Sense

The other day, we went to Sg.Petani for a holiday. I drove down with the kids and my maid. Hubby went to Chiang Mai via Hatyai/Bangkok, so we intend to meet him at Sg.Petani and go back with him.

While we were there on Friday. it was Aniel’s (SIL’s son) birthday. SIL decided to cook and have dinner at her in law’s place. I cooked up a dish as well since she ran out of idea. SIL’s SILs came over for dinner as well. One of them was about 2 1/2 mths pregnant but we didn’t tell out. While everyone was sitting in the living room, including me, SIL told me to ask Keith to guess who’s pregnant. At first, he pressed and checked on my belly coz’ he didn’t want me to have another baby. I told him it’s not me. He was so worried that I have another baby. The next guess was the actual person who was pregnant. He even tell out her name and said it was a baby girl.

Keith is always correct with his guessing and the baby came out to be the same gender that he told. When I got pregnant a few mths ago, he told me that there is no baby. Maybe, he knows that the baby didn’t work out which is why he kept telling me none.

Charlotte and Keith

Taking care of Charlotte is a lot easier compare to Keith. Maybe because once is a boy and the other one is a girl.

Charlotte (15 mths)

Charlotte

My Little Helper

My Little Helper

1) Charlotte, don’t touch. Just tell her a few times and she’ll stop.

2)Charlotte, keep back the things. She’ll keep it back.

3)Charlotte, bring your shoe and wear it. She’ll quickly pick up her shoes and tell you tell wear it for her.

4)Charlotte knows what things are hers and what things belongs to Keith. Eg. hubby bought a monkey and a turtle soft toy. Keith took the turtle and Charlotte took the monkey. After a few weeks, if you tell her to choose, she’ll take her monkey and give Keith his turtle.

5)She knows which container in the house contain food (Guess it’s because she’s born in the year of RAT.Haha).

6)She knows how to complaint to me, hubby, grandparents when Keith does mistake. (Kecil-kecil cili padi). Eg. There was once Keith drew on the wall iat grandpa’s place. MIL told him that she’ll tell grandpa about it. The moment grandpa came out of the room, the little one went to tell,”Baba (grandpa)….Keith..Keith…” with her little finger pointing at what he did.

7)She can really ‘merajuk’ and fight back. Guess I don’t need to worry of her being bullied next time.  She’ll fight with Keith whenever he takes her things.

8)She’s such a KPC. Eg. There was once, my SIL and I were scolding both Sahil and Keith for being naughty, this little one went and hit them once each with her  hand while her mouth mumbling something.

9)She knows how to nod her head for ‘yes’ and shake her head for ‘no’.

10)She can say,”none, bish (habis),no,mummy, papa,bye, yes, nice, go, come,tatak (kakak),baba (grandpa) and etc.”

Keith (4 years 8 mths)
Cheeky Monkey

Cheeky Monkey

1) Very stubborn and talking to him is like talking to the wall.
2) Never ending questions and repeating it like a parrot. Sometimes I really felt so irritated.  Sometime the question he asked can be so funny and so innocent. Eg. Mummy, why Charlotte’s kkc break already? or  Mummy, why Pap cars got no wings and can fly?
3) Likes to lick or bite his fingers. Very bad habit. Telling him hundreds of times also useless.
4) He can be a darling at times and he knows his manners. Eg. Mummy, dan I have this.
5) Loves to dance and draw.
6) Going for Piano lessons and art lessons.
7) Talkative and can be a bully at times.

Bangkok Trip during CNY

Last year, hubby manage to get Air Asia ticket from Hadyai to Bangkok for 1 Baht. Our return ticket per person was only RM170. Hubby even checked from Penang to Bangkok to make a comparison and it was more than RM550. Which means we still save a lot even if we drive all the way to the border stay a nite and charter a van to Hatyai airport for our flight to Bangkok.

So off we go for our trip in a big group (my family, SIL family and BIL’s brother’s family) on the 23rd of January to the border and 24th of January to Hatyai to catch our flight to Bangkok. My dad flew over to join my family for the trip. I brought my maid along since the air ticket were cheap. My brother couldn’t make it coz’ he needs to work at the hospital. Since he’s a local at the Sarawak General Hospital, priority was given to outstation doctors to take leaves during CNY. Poor fella had to celebrate CNY alone.

At Hatyai airport, we were given priority to board the plane right after the express boarding passengers. My BIL make friends with a Thai Punjabi lady on board the plane and she was nice enough to help us charter a van from the airport to the hotel at a cheaper price.

Some friends told us that it will be cold in Bangkok and we should bring lotsa long sleeves. Luckily, I was not so silly to listen to them. Instead, I checked the weather forecast in the news on TV and took along only a sweater each for my kids and I. Bangkok was really really warm.

Keith got excited when we checked into the hotel. The first thing he checked was the bathroom to see whether there is a bathtub or not. The hotel at Dannok (border) doesn’t have a bathtub and he was already upset about it. But when he saw the bathtub, he quickly took off his shoe and clothes. He was eating my head off to fill the tub up ASAP coz’ he wants to take his bath. I was so bz with the luggages and also Charlotte. Luckily my maid was with me or else I’ll be really exhausted with the kids. My dad and hubby shared another room which was 2 doors away while my SIL and I took the side by side room which is interconnected so that the kids can have easy access to each other.

We went out for dinner to a nearby restaurant. Then, SIL & I walked along the market by the roadside. We didn’t buy anything coz’ everything is expensive. Better save the money and go to the market. After that, we went back to the hotel to sleep while the men went for drinking.

The next day (2nd day), we got up quite early for breakfast coz’ we didn;t want to waste time since Chachucak Market is  very huge. At the coffee house, we were told to pay for the children when all of them are blow four. Hubby went and fired the manager and told him most of the hotels doesn’t charge children below 6 years.  At last,  he just kept quiet. Children hardly eat and they wanted to charge us.  After the breakfast, we walked to a nearby underground to take the train to Chachucak Market. It’s about 6 stops away from the hotel.

This place was indeed very huge. SIL and I nearly got lost but we manage to ask around and find our way back to our meeting spot.We were having some problem finding our way back to the station coz’ people giving different directions all the time.  The weather there was really hot. At one point, I took off Charlotte’s top and let her enjoy some nice wind while we were having our lunch. She was so excited. I put on her top again before we leave the place to go back to the station and headed back to the hotel. We went back early coz’ we wanted to go for a Chinese New Year reunion dinner at the nearby restaurant. I manage to buy a cheongsam for Charlotte from the market for only 39Bath for the reunion dinner.  I didn have time to wash it and told my maid to let her wear for a few hours only and then wipe her body again before she change into her pyjama.

On the third day, we took a van from the hotel and went to a nearby jetty for a boat ride. It is another transportation in Bangkok to avoid the jam. The kids enjoyed it and we can actually see fishes and the beautiful temples, etc along the river. We stopped at a nearby jetty to walk to the famous Palace Temple but we didn’t go in as the entrance fee was too high 359Bath per person.  We took some pictures from the outside and then took a cab to Khaosan Road. Here, we had our lunch and we left the kids behind with the men. The ladies went for shopping and the men only came and join after 2 hours.

There were elephants along the street and also dragon and lion dance. They even light up fire works since it’s the first day of Chinese New Year. Khaosan road market is something like our Petaling Street. After that, we took a cab to Robinson. It’s a departmental store nearby the hotel. We didn’t stay long coz’ everything was expensive even after discount compare to Malaysia. We had our dinner there and walk around for awhile. We took the tuk tuk back to the hotel and let the kids experience the ride. They were so excited about it. By the time all of us took our shower and put the kids to sleep, it was almost 12a.m.

Our flight was 1p.m. the next day, by the time we reached the border, it was already 4p.m. We went for a walk at the Dannok maaket and had our dinner there. After that, hubby  drove back to Taiping. The trip was fun and the kids really enjoyed it.
