Peter Amsel Peter Amsel Ottawa Peter Amsel studied composition while studying at the University of Ottawa with Steven Gellman. As a student he won the Society of Composer's Authors and Music Publishers Award for Young Composers twice in one year, and went on to write for some truly incredible musicians, including viola soloist Rivka Golani who commissioned a solo sonata which she premiered with the Espace Musique Concert Society.
