Dear Bitch,
You have participated in the WinterAngels exchange for most years since 2004 and in most of them you have been the one to not send on time and to do things on your own time table no matter how it affected the other participants or us the organizers.
We have had to chase you down for basic info like your address, your interests and even if you actually sent - which most years you had not til we contacted to you to see what had happened. You always had a good story about what went wrong - a death in the family almost a month after the send date somehow prevented you from even sending us an email to tell us that you would not be sending on time. We request this so that we can tell your giftee what's going on and/pr send a gift out if you can not. But apparently emailing us and saying " I have a glitch in the system and can't send til after X date" is too hard for you. You are the reason we have certain rules..plural. That's right we came up with more than one rule because of your self centered conduct. What's more we warned you that you would not be allowed to continue in this manner in 2008! Yet you continue on with your actions that clearly state "Only *I* matter, not you, it matters not how I affect you, because you simply don't matter to me...*I* am so important that basic courtesy to you is not important to me. Don't bother expecting it - *I* won't show it. Because you see only *I* matter"
So this year I gave you my name - knowing that you were very, very likely to repeat your self centered ways - and you did not "disappoint" - and you did not send on time, yet again, and again you sent no note telling us. And I do check three or four times a day when I have an exchange going. There was no note. There for we are doing what we told you we would - banning your self centered ass from ever participating again. Don't bother signing up again, we can not in good conscience pair you up with anyone. you simply don't follow the rules and so ruin the exchange for the person whose name you have....they get the "Joy" of watching everyone post about their packages and not getting one themselves. Just so you can get your jollies somehow.
This action has been years in coming but I am sure you will find someway to make it all about what you want - because in your mind that's all that matters ( and you've proved that time and time again in and out of the exchanges), but be aware you have burned your last bridge and taken advantage of your friendship with us for the last time. No more chances. No more entries. and No more period. You are banned from ever participating in either exchange again - summer or winter- because of your refusal to show anyone involved even the most basic courtesy.
Sincerely Yours,
XXXX and Andi - organizers.

School Update
I dropped the theater course - I just could not handle all the time she wanted. I still have something like 15 credit hours. Not too terrible - One professor I just.can't.stand., one that works us alike dogs and one I love...the other I don't know well enough to say. I have all A's so far. and three test now in the the next week. Sigh.
Tell me why I want to do Grad School, again?

Ok, the Theater Prof is insane
She finally posted and thinks we should do 28 hours work a WEEK on her class each week - right. Not going to happen and I am going to drop the damned class if I can. Including writing a play, set, costume and lighting design and more. I think she's gone around the bend, myself. With five other courses, tho' I can't do it. I am not sure I could do it if I had only 4 courses total, so I am going to drop it and go with 5 classes - one I have most of the work done for already. thank goodness...

I Have Not Written In Ages
I have not written in forever. So for an update:
I went back to school in January, for Individualized Studies, eventually I want to go to Grad School for Museum Studies. I made Dean's List last semester and start back on the 29th of August for the Fall Semester.
I have been volunteering at the Buffalo Museum of Science in June of last year, which is what gave me the kick in the ass to go back to school
I am no longer employed - I am looking for a job, that does not involve heavy lifting as I got hurt at my last job which has me on Workman's Comp since April.
This semester I will have 6 classes 4 online and 2 lectures. One of the online classes demands we have a blog - so I will likely be updating here more frequently. :P
My classes will be : Fundamentals of Art Inquiry - this class is shaping up to be a trip already. We have to visit galleries, create our own art, blog ( I created a separate blog for the class) and it looks like a paper may be due. At least the teacher seems to be nice from the tone of his intro to us.
Folklore and Technology: I am so looking forward to this..it's Roots Music! Taught by one of my favorite teachers ever...she pushes you hard but is fair and caring. This will involve discussions, visiting the historical society for the exhibit on color film Depression Photos. Many never before seen, a paper and the Wiki. I can't wait for this to start.
Introduction to the Museum - no word yet from this professor. This is a 50-50 shot at being a decent course.
Museum Education Programing - An Independent Study where I am actually developing power points for the Museum.
Introduction to American Government and Politics - this is reading, discussions online and a book review along with the usual exams.. This teacher does not seem to be nice, in his course syllabus he managed in one paragraph to tell us he assumes we are going to be nasty in the discussions, are having someone else pay for our educations and that we are retarded - he actually called us "idiots"! I am so not impressed.
and lastly - Introduction to Theater Arts- nothing yet from this prof.
So far I know we will have a minimum of 9 field trips to cultural institutions and at least 1 play, if not more. I might be required to attend a symphony performance, too. Gonna be interesting!
