It is great that you have chosen to look at my blog. I guarantee you will not be sorry. During the last ten years, I wrote about many different topics. In the beginning my posts describe my early life being brought up on an Iowa farm. A favorite stort from that time is: “The Cat ate the Cake”! My mother took the cake setting on a cooling rack outside and placed it on a wooden stand. While there, the cat ate the entire top of the cake. After the cat finished the cake looked like it had been leveled with a knife before being stuffed with strawberries and whipped cream.
When I was in college, I began writing about the time of life when a person no longer is able to be independent. Because of the many posts, I wrote on the end of life, I next wrote many stories about the last years my mother was alive. Currently, my writing is mostly about me and expressed in prose and poetry
