In response to the September 11th attacks, to prevent the foreign radicals from mobilizing in similar attacks, the U.S. Federal Government back in 2003, merged the Department of Immigrations that’s existed independently for sixty years, into the newly founded Department of Homeland Security, which became Immigration & Customs Enforcement. This, has to do with the attacks on September 11th.
During Trump’s first term, after he’d promoted the anti-immigrations beliefs, ICE, this originally focused on national security organization, shifted gear into checking and busting the illegal immigrants in the U.S., other than preventing the terrorists from infiltrating, more of the times, ICE targeted the Central American refugees who’d escaped their home countries because of economical difficulties. Since Trump’s return to the WH, and passed the “Big & Beautiful” Act, ICE became the law enforcement agency of the U.S. with the highest budget planned to it.
Due to the increasing workload, naturally, ICE started hiring the new officials, the number of ICE agents quickly increased to the current 220,000 in Trump’s second term, whereas back in his last term, there’d only been 10,000 employed by ICE. Behind the fast growing number of agents are the issues of the qualifications of these agents, many of whom never passed the drug tests, nor the physical, and these are eliminated before they ever got out on the field. A more serious problem, the promotional ad for ICE employment had used terms such as “wartime”, and “invasion”, etc., etc., etc., which attracts those with tendencies toward violence, who worshipped white supremacy, those who are anti-immigrants, which leads to use of excessive force in enforcing the laws.
Because Trump distrusts the local government, the F.B.I., even the C.I.A., therefore, I.C.E. became his most trusted to enforce his will. Trump’s government believes, that the metros, due to the huge numbers of work opportunities available, is more attractive to the illegal immigrants, therefore he’d wanted to use the “ambush of the metropolitan areas” to conduct the sweeps on the illegal immigrants.

After the groundbreaking Micron plant ceremony in New York, he’d told, that the fine prints of the tariffs that applied to Taiwan in the U.S.-Taiwan trade deal may be enforced toward the chip manufacturers in South Korea also.
As the press inquired, Lutnick stated, “there are only two options for every single chip manufacturer, they can pay a hundred percent tariffs, or they can move their production to the U.S.”. He’d not named the specific companies, only stated that this was Trump’s industrial policies.
Lutnick’s claims was a continuation of what he’d stated on the 15th, as he was interviewed by CNBC, right after the American-Taiwanese trade agreements had been, signed. Back then he’d made it clear, that if the named companies don’t set up the manufacturing plants in U.S., then, they will get one-hundred percent tariff rates imposed.
On this, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Trade told Bloomberg, that Lutnick is working to restore the leadership of position of U.S. in the production industries, and this begins with the production of semiconductor chips. Samsung and SK of South Korea, as well as the representative from Taiwan made no comment on this.
Bloomberg reports, that Micron and the two listed Korean HBM compete for the markets. And, in this current wave of A.I., HBM manufactures one of the vital parts of these processors. Due to the demands of A.I. data centers, the need for high bandwidth memories is also, increased massively.
Based off of the trade deal that South Korea had announced from last July, U.S. will be enforcing a fifteen percent tariff rate on all goods exported into the U.S., but had waived the tariffs for the chips exported to the U.S. temporarily. Based off of the plans from Samsung three weeks ago, it will invest over forty billion dollars U.S. in the United States, of the total, seventeen billion will go to set up an advanced BEOL plant; the SK Hynix also announced that it plans to invest a total of close to forty billion dollars U.S. in Indiana, another $1.5 billion would be used for the production and R&D of their manufactured chips in the U.S.
So, this showed, how Trump is now, hoarding ALL the advanced microchip production plants from Taiwan AND S. Back then, my husband and I planned to go abroad for our studies together. Technically, it was me leaving him immediately, going to the U.S. for a year first, then, he would, follow. And so, I’d worked my ass off, busying about, with no time to tend to, him, and he’s, happy to be, leisurely too.
One day, he’d told me he was going to the library to study with a classmate, several hours later, he’d called me, told me that he’d, fallen into the lake, that he’d lost his glasses, his wallet, too! As I wanted to know what exactly had happened, he’d told me he will tell me when he gets home.

We said thank you repeated to the man, and felt that this was, a miracle, and, as we went to school, to retrieve his wallet back, we’d found, the teeth marks of turtles on his wallet too. The miraculous return of my husband’s wallet, I’d told this tale to my daughter, she was, quite impressed too. Despite we had no idea how the wallet got to shore, along with whether or not that turtle had helped retrieved it, but it surely had, helped saved a young couple’s, marriage all right.
And so this, is one of those things that can’t be, explained, but, had your husband not gotten that wallet that he’d lost back, you would’ve probably stayed angry at him for being, stupid for doing something so dangerous, and, in a sense, your marriage WAS, saved by this wallet that he’d, lost.

Whenever a Woman Lives Her Life More Centered on Her Own Self, when Her Milestones of Life isn’t in Line with the Societal Expectancies, it would Immediately Get the Misunderstood & Confusing Looks on Her………………
I got into surfing the English learning groups of late, a local community of roughly thirty-five kilometers from where I am, a friendly kind of a platform I’d found, there were the oddest posts and responses. I’d found a single American woman who was sharing her thoughts, mentioned how she just celebrated her thirty-first birthday, and in no more than a couple of weeks’ time, people around her whom she is acquainted with, and strangers too, started, taking turns inquiring, “why aren’t you married yet?”
First, it was her grandmother who’d started this up. Then, as she’d returned home from her business trip, on the way home from the airport, the cabdriver in the chit chat found that she’s still single, he’d felt confused that she has a boyfriend, but wasn’t married yet, he’d asked, “why aren’t you having your babies yet?”
“I want to get rich, that’s why I’m delaying marriage and having children. I really want to have the money to purchase a home first”, she was forced to explain to the stranger, and, the driver was still, confused, he looked shocked and, disappointed, and she’d thought to herself: is it a crime, that I want to have a stable source of income first, before I settled down to marriage and having children?
Then, as she’d gone in to donate her blood, the middle age nurse who was in charge of drawing her blood, took a look at her identification, born in 1994, and the personal data had the “single” box checked, the nurse started asking her, like she was her mother, “why are you still single?”
In this day and age, as a single woman goes in to donate her blood, she would get grilled by these inquiries. The oppressions of the world against women, had now, gotten to the point to before the alcohol gets rubbed in, before the needles get stabbed, we all need to get stabbed hard?
The Degree I’d Worked My Hardest to Obtain Through the Years, & Yet, I Can Still Fit More on My, Plates
If there’s the unified myth of the world list, I’m guessing, that this age-old question would rank at the top, three: why is that we women often get asked, “Why aren’t you married yet?”
In the traditional world of Asians, it’s natural that people see it as a collective milestone of the whole: not yet married at age thirty, that’s “bringing shame to the family”; no children as you hit thirty-one, one of the contributors of “decline of birthrate”. But, when a woman lives more individually, based off of her own definitions of her self, and strays from this “schedule of development”, it would immediately gain the misunderstood looks, the criticisms of others around, and it doesn’t matter if they’re distant relatives, close relative, even the strangers whom we met less than five minutes ago, can smash us with that rock, or stab us, and what’s more outrageous, is that this doesn’t just exist within the Asian communities, asking a woman why she’s not yet married, became like talking about baseball or the weather in America now, it’d turned into, a “conversation starter” for some, reasons.
Why is this always aimed at women, and often happens in forms of woman-toward-woman “interrogation”?
I feel very empathetic, counted it up, the year this woman was born, I was, twenty-eight, and still, single too, and in my era, that Asian elders had used the “rounding methods”, I was treated like a cougar in my thirties. And the degree I’d worked so hard to obtain, my high annual salary, and my savings clearly wasn’t, enough to show that I am busy! And people would carelessly throw out, “So, you still don’t have a boyfriend yet, huh?”, and it’d felt like I was stomped against the floors, and that sent me into doubting my own life constantly. And, even as I’d found me a boyfriend, I still get “downgraded” with other people’s inquiries of “you’re not married, yet?”
It isn’t until I was married, and had my child, did I, escape this. All those, uncalled for, highly damaging prodding, vanished into thin air since, to the point that I’d, forgotten that they’d, ever, existed, not realizing, that these questions only got, transferred to other women who are, single right now, and continued to attack “without stereotype”.
And so, after I’d gained a better understand of this sort of the oppressed becoming the oppressors, I’d found the verifications of the huge numbers of these people who showed the pathologies of transitioning from the “victims” to the “abusers”. In the market of marriage, being single we will always be viewed as a rookie greenhorn daughter-in-law. When I was still single, I’d wanted to ask my elders including my own parents: what makes you all so arrogant that you’re, married? And how come, “Why aren’t you married yet?” is passed down by the generations, to becoming a distorted, upsetting to the ones the words are directed towards, to ultimately being interpreted as a “show of concern”?
Back when I was still single, I’d come to my own understandings, that I will not have any sympathy shown toward me on this matter, only because it’s so pretentious. And honestly, being bullied by “those who know me” is already, very gutless, and, I was, merely, defending that final barrier of my own, dignity.
Had the Overuse of the Internet Rewrote the Definitions of Our, Privacy?
The times had, moved on, and I’d thought, that this matter will eventually, evolve to the point that I wouldn’t have to, experience it, so violently, like how those words that are, discriminatory had, slowly, made their exits out of our, lives. But I seemed to be, mistaken, and I’m more confused, in that if this has anything to do with the infiltrations of cultures as the matter transferred to the Americans, has it anything to do with the coming of age of Asian immigrants in the U.S.?
No matter how nosy the people in the U.S. can get, they’d kept guard over their own, as well as others’, privacies, and so, where had this, principle that I thought to be true, go? Could it be attributed to how the overuse of the internet, how it had, rewritten the criteria of what constitutes as, our individual, privacies?
The replies of my posts, felt like a karaoke machine that got dragged to someplace public, and plugged in, everybody who passes by here, all wants to share something.
There were those who offered the encouragements, most of whom advised the person who’d posted her confusions to “be yourself”, and yet, there were the old school elders who’d reminded, “if you don’t marry and have children, who will take care of you when you’re old?”

Observing the cultural differences, the Asian communities often uses “having babies, getting married, to have your futures set” as the cause of pressing someone to get married, while the American systems would use the question of “will you ever regret that you had never married” as the determinant.
And, the original sin is the deadline of us as women biologically. Men can stay by the side of a Golden Retriever, and grow old, but, women seemed to combined their future lives with their reproduction, whether or not we agree to this.
The weirdest response, was the there were more than one person from the online communities who’d recommended to the woman to discuss with her gynecologist about the risk of reproducing later in life, along with the options of freezing her eggs. And that is when I’d researched and found, that there are, many health plans that included this service.
More surprisingly, it’s all for the same reasons: you will have more options in your future.
I’d started laughing as I first read this reply. And yet, in a thought, I’d seen an alternative, possibility: it’s hard to say, that after another generation, the women of the world may be given a break from “why aren’t you married yet”. And by then, maybe, the parents had evolved themselves to not bluntly push their daughters to get married and start procreating, instead, they may switch their nagging to the alternative of, “You’re no longer young anymore, why aren’t you freezing your, eggs?”
And, it don’t matter how many COATS of paint you put on this, this is still pressuring us women, to settle down to starting a family, to marry, to start our lives as unpaid SLAVES, and this is still bullshit!
I mean, why the FUCK should we have our babies as we approach a certain sort of a biological DEADLINE (after all, we can’t stay “fresh” forever, NOT like how you LOSERS can!), and due to this limited capacity of us procreating, we get pressed, is that it?
And what IF, our life plans doesn’t include us becoming mothers, popping ‘em all out a mile a minute, huh? What IF, we want to focus on our careers, or other things that are more important based off of OUR own beliefs, huh?
And, why the FUCK is the world, pressuring us anyways? I mean, why don’t you all men, start having your own babies yourselves? Oh yeah, you can’t, because unless you losers are SEAHORSE daddies, leaf dragon daddies or other species of living things out there where it’s the MALES that carried their babies, you can’t, you will ALWAYS need our uteruses, and what the FUCK (so???) would we all need out of you losers again?

On the surfaces, Lutnick only elevated an investment of the enterprise to a national level of tactile collaboration; but returning back to the wording, what’s meant by “giant promise”, isn’t of how the U.S. would protect Taiwan, but the transferable assets of core technologies of semiconductor chip production to the U.S.. When “protecting Taiwan” is solely reliant on “how happy Taiwan can make the U.S. president”, not from the systems of alliances, legal obligations, or long-term tactile consensuses, the safety of the country gets devalued into a negotiable, unstable, changing product of politics.

What’s more ironic was, this form of describing the relationship of Taiwan and U.S. became matter-of-fact. Taiwan’s investments in the U.S., it isn’t for the sake for the benefits of the layout of the industries, nor is it an option of keeping the enterprises competitive long-term, but a sort of a tribute system. Under this frame, Taiwan is no longer a key part of the systems of division of labor in the professional field, but one that needs to constantly make the offerings to prove that we’re worthy of protection.

And by then, protecting the country will naturally stop being the core benefits and interests of other countries, and the result would be the leftover of the political wills, and the preferential then.

But the WH press secretary, Leavitt after the Trump-Machado conference at the WH stated, that Trump is happy with the interim president, Rodriguez of Venezuela right now, that his beliefs about Machado hasn’t changed, believed that she didn’t have enough support from the people to lead the country. Before this, Trump had stated it repeatedly, that currently, it would be difficult for Machado to lead Venezuela, as she’d lacked the support of votes, nor was she respected enough.

The tariffs had caused the imported goods to go up in sales prices, which is transferred to the consumers in the U.S. If those in the U.S. would need to spend even more on the imports, and they will reduce the spending in the goods produced in the U.S., which in turn will, hurt the economy. Trump is the KEY to Protecting Taiwan, We Must Keep Him Happy
After the tariff rate for Taiwan from the U.S. is finalized, the head of Department of Commerce of the U.S., Lutnick in an interview on the 15th by CNBC, claimed that Taiwan needs to keep Trump happy.
On the interview with Brian Sullivan on the 15th on CNBC, Lutnick said that TMSC just purchased the hundred acres of land in its current manufacturing plant, that TMSC may be expanding in Arizona, although the related plans still needed the board of trustees’ discussion, but “I will make sure that all the internal agreements get settled, and allow them the time that they need.”
Sullivan asked, during the negotiations of the tariffs with the U.S., did Taiwan admit that under the threats of Chinese invasion, there’s the need to spread out the layout of the productivity of semiconductor chips? Lutnick replied, that this is the awareness of Taiwan, that it needs to maintain a good relationship with the U.S., “Why are they doing this? They need to keep our president happy, right? Because the U.S. president is the key to the safety of, Taiwan.”
Lutnick described the American-Taiwanese trade deal as a major promise to the American-owned production of semiconductor chips, the deal’s goal will transfer forty-percent of the productivity of the semiconductor chips to the U.S., and this goal is set to be completed by 2029, within Trump’s second term as president. He pointed out, that Taiwan already promised to attempt to help set up this basic fundamental productivity chain, and had already begun doing so in the U.S. now, and if Taiwan doesn’t fulfill its end of the bargain to build the manufacturing plants, then, the Trump government will be enforcing a 100-percent tariff rate.

Based off of the deal struck by U.S. and Taiwan, the semiconductor chip and the tech companies are going to invest at least $250 billion U.S. immediately into the U.S.; the Taiwanese government is going to provide the exact same amount of credit guarantees for these firms’ promises to invest. Lutnick stated, this is the “down payment” of $500 billion, to bring the semiconductor production BACK into the U.S.
Lutnick mentioned, “we will take all of it here, to allow our country to become autonomous in production of semiconductor technology. This was what President Trump promised, and he’s now, fulfilling his promise. $250 billion plus $250 billion, that is the scale to which Trump is operating.”

Lutnick points out, that so long as the semiconductor production companies promise to set up the plants in the U.S., in the time of the plants getting build, the semiconductor will not have tariffs on them as they are being imported into the U.S. He’d made the example that if Taiwan promises to build a capability of chip production of one million chips, then, under the Department of Commerce, during the time the plants are being built, there would be an allowance of 2.5 million chips imported into the U.S. without any tariffs.
Lutnick stated last September that he will continue to lobby for the 50-50 split of the semiconductor chip of Taiwan, to get the productivity of the chip to 50-50 with Taiwan.
