It is very little mud compared to the very unfortunate people of Brazil and Sri Lanka and Queensland to whom my heart goes out, and in comparison very little to complain about, but today it came over the top of my wellies.
It was not nice...
and it's still raining.
I don't have longer wellies.
That's all.

Oh dear! I know just how that feels. One can be empathetic for those worse off, but, all the same, the here and now is a pain, too.(I keep telling myself not to be such a *&^%#!! wuss in the icy slush. But I'm too nervous to venture out at night when the slush freezes!)
How are the hooves coping in this? Not keeping the vet busy I hope!
Would these help?

Hip or chest waders, definitely in order! Yes, it's terrible what's happening around the world. But we all do moan about our own little worlds too, even if it pales in comparison. Hope you dry up soon.
I know, I'm fed up with the constant rain and the developing pot holes and also feel like I shouldn't complain.
We do have a flood alert here though, and it is becoming hazardous.
Sx
Apparently we have had a dry winter and there will be hosepipe bans in the summer.
There are few things as treacherous as wellies in deep mud. I don't wear them. But then I don't have horses to muck out and move around either.
I didn't say how absolutely gorgeous your new look blog is did I. It is.
I hope the cat left you some gin.
