About

Welcome to The Crumbling Facade! This blog started off as a poetry space around 5 years ago. Over time, I started writing about inspiring TV serials and books. Now I use it almost exclusively to write reviews of the books I read. If you’re interested, you can read through the reviews of two books I greatly enjoyed reading, Modern Man in Search of a Soul by Carl Jung and The Discovery of India by Jawaharlal Nehru.

If your interested in poetry, you can also browse through my poetry page. Through metaphor, rhythm and wordplay, I feel that poetry illuminates the truth in a way that prose never can. The right poem can be infinitely touching. Check out this poem read out by Michael Caine, If by Rudyard Kipling.

If your interested in more poems feel free to check out the following two poems I have written. The right words and That what matters.

And while your at it, take a listen to one of my favourite soundtracks here.
