Time, a(n) ((odd)) construction that structures the everyday and rules production, society, and culture. 0100100010000010000011110100010000111000 Dimensions in which events are ordered & timelines produced. If time were not set in stone and acknowledged by the masses, everything that ever happened in the world would have happened all at once. These inklings of duration/chronology and neurosis, within which we ourselves are buried. deep within.

Ruled by time. So what happens when our personal timing goes wonk? Going through the motions. ABC DEF —-> GGGGGX?

It’s so easy to leave this blog hanging, but that’s what summer is for right? For meandering and wandering and blip blap blooping all over. I’d like to think so. With the right amount of stress and wonder added for good measure. Yeah…totally. ———————————————————————————————————–maybe. Well, loads has been going on. I’ve survived my second Olympics in a row, it seems I’ve turned into an accidental olympic groupie, I’ll probably get a job in Sochi next and then get adopted by some fine tuned Brazilians in Rio. Perhaps. Perhaps not. Meandering again, sorry. Loads of cool, neat-o stuffs popping up/being made/happening. Senses overloaded, but in the good way.

^^^ This is currently blowing my brain at the moment. Unreal how this helmet concept has not been thought of or designed previously, in a world where everything comes across as being variations/appropriations of past thought and recreations with new technology, this invisible bike helmet by Fredrik Gertten is unique and well it looks good! No more natty helmet head!

Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!! Gin in these tumblrs would probably taste like dreams sprinkled with tiny grapefruit moons. Or perhaps there’s a deposit of iron in the bottom, in which case, meh.

Finisterrae: a fantastic journey from Barcelona to Galicia

The film is entitled Finisterrae and tells the story of the introspective journey of two ghosts who at Sonar 2009 decide to walk the Way of Saint James until the end of the world, and once there, begin a new earthly and ephemeral life.

On their journey, they will experience unexpected situations that they must solve, as well as overcoming the tensions and fighting against their own doubts about their existence as ghosts. On this route, they will also have to struggle with natural phenomena, which do not always work in their favour…

Saw these guys play last night at ICA, bloody great! A shame that Londoners are semi-frigid and can’t dance without being properly liquored up (it was a semi-early show, you see), working up on a buzz to just let the looped soundbites & lovely synth move your body into a personal frenzy. ——————————————–

Factory Floor aim to create their own improvised soundtrack in response to Dan Tombs visual response to the Themersons seminal film The Eye and The Ear – their own imaginative interpretation of visualising sound back in 1944.
