Sometimes... I'm amazed by the speed of development. Things not longer the same after couple of months! KTM amazed me. Lady and gentlemen, here I present you the KTM komunter ticket machine that serve me well atleast 13 years ago! Oh my gosh, its exactly the same machine, the same button and the same behavior (Always out of services). The only change is thy introduce "gerabak wanita" which allow only female to occupy it. The rest of stuff is the same, for example: 1. The train "turn off" its power (air con, speed) occasionally. 2. Lazy announcement on destination. "Kepong.. stesen Kepong" 3. Just for reference "arrival time" 4. Just for display "ticket gate". When you try to slot in your card, a ktm officer will just wave their hand and said: " masuk je". And when you push the gate, its not lock even no ticket presented. 5. Just for display ticket. No prove needed to show you are a valid passenger. In and out.. n...

Summary 1. (C) Malaysia's Chinese minority struggles to find new footing in national politics. In September Singapore's Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew ignited a nation-wide debate on the marginalization of Malaysia's Chinese minority. Leaders from across the Chinese political spectrum agreed, at least privately, with LKY's conclusion and confided that most Chinese Malaysians feel marginalized by the United Malays National Organization (UMNO)'s race-based, Bumiputera policies. As the Chinese community grows restless, Chinese parties of the UMNO-led National Coalition (Barisan Nasional, BN) fear losses to opposition parties in the next general election. The People's Movement Party (Gerakan) faces change at the top and candidates have begun to vie for the coveted chief minister's job in Penang. Many Chinese have questioned their own leaders after Prime Minister Abdullah humiliated current Penang Chief Minister and claimed the Gerakan-led state go...
