Quality of IKEA product

Image
IKEA has received two customer reports where the zip bottom stop has detached from the zipper which also makes it possible for the zip slider to detach. Both parts could present a choking hazard to small children. No injuries have been reported. The cause of the failure was poor quality of the zipper. We have stopped sales and production of BARNSLIG sleeping bags and we are now reviewing our routines to secure the quality of BARNSLIG. Children’s safety is always a top priority at IKEA. All products are subject to comprehensive risk analysis and assessment during the development process. As a guiding principle; wherever possible IKEA applies the strictest requirements on any of our sales markets. Customers who have a BARNSLIG sleeping bag with date stamps 0745 to 0824 are asked to bring it back to their local IKEA store for a full refund. The date stamp (yyww) is to be found on a label sewn inside the sleeping bag. For more information, contact 03-7726 7777.

How to transfer song between iPod?

Image
One of the biggest problems that people have with iPods is that unless you have a diploma in hacking, it is extremely difficult to share your tunes, especially without getting a computer involved. That is of course until now. Want the latest album from your friends' iPod? Simply connect both iPods to the miShare unit, press the button and away you go. It's kind of like swapping football cards in the playground, although much cooler. Providing that your files are not DRM protected (that's digital rights management to you technophobes), everything from movies to photos to songs can be transferred. Even entire playlists. Nice. There is however one downside – for now the unit does not work with the iPhone or iPod touch, although we are told that a firmware update is being looked in to.

Designing a Idea

Explained as a new way for teenagers to share and mix music with friends, Belkin's RockStar ($20) is a star-shaped audio hub that lets people connect their iPods (or other MP3 players) and headphones. Multiple playback devices can be connected to the hub, sharing the audio from each source simultaneously with multiple headphone ports, and letting users hear either a single song, or multiple songs mixed together. One of the ports is input-only, with a wired connector built-in; the other five can be toggled between input and output. One cable will be included for connection to a second audio device. RockStar will be available in March.
