Lisa's T-Shirt Quilt

Lisa made this cute t-shirt quilt at Spring Quilt camp and I'm just amazed at how she makes all those different shapes come together to a great quilt.

In Cincinnati, I purchased a couple new pantos and for this quilt I used Bauhaus Baby. I thought it was a good fit with all the squares and straight lines. I chose Sunlight PermaCore Thread and Hobbs 80/20 batting.

Love the yellow thread on the back too!
Speaking of t-shirt quilts, this week the Common Threads Quilt Guild was treated to a program on t-shirt quilts by Caryl Schuetz of Indianapolis. She gave a powerpoint presentation and showed lots of cute t-shirt quilts. We are fortunate to have such a great speaker just an hour away from us. Thanks for a great program Caryl!

Sally and Lisa's Purple Mountains

Lisa and her friend Saally put this beautiful quilt together. Lisa brought it to be quilted and chose a new pantograph for me to use. The colors in this photo don't do it justice, but the closeup is much better.

The quilt is all batiks and is just beautiful.

I purchased Ponderosa Pines from Meadowlyn for their quilt. It's a very intensive design and each pass took over 30 minutes. It would be a wonderful pattern for a computerized machine, but to do it by hand was a bit much. Also, I really like patterns that interlock and this one just ends at the same point all the way across. I'm not at all sure I will use it again, so if there is anyone that is interested in having it, it's yours.

Sally and Lisa make a great team when it comes to working together to create a masterpiece!

Lisa's Baby Quilt

Lisa, a member of my guild, made this adorable baby quilt.

I chose Daisy Swirl panto, Omni Pearl White thread, with just a touch of pink, and Hobbs 80/20 bleached batting. I just love the fabrics she chose.
