hey, just spent this morning and most of last night reading this legacy, it’s really good! I love that you’re putting a lot more work into your legacy than most writers, the only thing I didn’t love about your legacy was the three girl’s names… took me forever to work out which one is which, because I skim-read. :} keep writing!
Thanks for reading, I’m glad you like the legacy- I have too much fun with it during my spare time. I know the names are incredibly similar, I love doing that to my poor simmies when they have twins & triplets. The next generation didn’t suffer my naming schemes, however, so rest assured.
How do you get all the wonderful hairstyles and clothes that I’ve seen? Darien’s bride’s dress and hair were just gorgeous! Love the legacy :)

Abbie’s dress is from the sims3 store (here) & her hairstyle is by Flora over on XM sims (where I get all my fav hairstyles from). You can get it for free here, I believe it’s number 8 :) (The sequin pattern I used for her dress is over here on MTS by Randomnoir)

Wow, I’ve just been going over all the chapters again and it seems so long ago since Gizi first came to Sunset Valley to raise a family… then again, it’s hard to believe that her and even her daughter have meanwhile passed on… And it possibly won’t take too long before her granddaughters will pass too…
I think the length of time since Gizi’s arrival is even more pronounced by the amount of time it’s taking me to get through the legacy!
I know. It sounds easier than it is to play through 10 generations… especially when you write everything down in a blog :P
It’s a lot more enjoyable to blog the legacy, however. Makes the in game story seem more dynamic.

Thanks, I tend to play ahead before writing chapters in order to keep a more realistic flow between them and know what direction the story will take.

How did you make a chapters page? I’m such a noob.
Go to the Pages section on your dashboard and make a new parent page entitled ‘Chapters’. Then write the names of your chapters and link to them (there’s a button for that in your format bar). Otherwise, you could always use a widget to show your most recent/all posts in a sidebar. Send any other questions my way, I’d be glad to help!

How did you place the chapter links like this. I am really not computer savvy, and placing the links like I have looks soo bad :(
No problem, it’s very easy. Simply type out ‘Chapter #: Title’, select the title and click the insert link button on your toolbar (or use Alt+Shift+A). I shift+enter to keep single spacing for the links, just a personal preference. The link colour depends on your theme.
