Must-know things for showing rabbits in 4-H
So since this is a blog about rabbits, I thought I would do a post about how to show a rabbit. Now I show rabbits for 4-H, so if you plan on showing your rabbits in an actual show, this might not give you the best advice. But if you are showing rabbits for 4-H, this should help a lot! Enjoy!
- Work with your rabbit as much as possible. The judges prefer tame rabbits to rabbits hat try to bite and escape.
- Teach your rabbit to enjoy being flipped on its back. Put your middle finger between your rabbit’s ears and hold the ears with your pointer and ring fingers on either side. put your hand on his back and flip him over. Practice this until your rabbit is to the point of not minding when you do this.
- bring a frozen water bottle if you are showing in the summer. Rabbits can overheat very easily
- don’t over or under feed your rabbit. Your rabbit should way about 2 pounds. Depending on your rabbit, this weight may vary.
So If this post gets 5 likes, I will do a part 2. Hope you enjoy! Show your friends! Thanks, Anna

1, 2, 3, A, B, and C are the Austrolorps, and all look exactly the same. in fact, one chicken could be 2 one day, and then B the next day. we can’t tell them apart. I am glad to be getting chickens. If you have or will be getting them tell me in the comments! Our dog, Nora the Great Pyrenees, loves the chickens. She is a guard dog. I cant wait to get chickens!
