Twinbrook's Next Top Fashion Designer

Twinbrook’s Next Top Fashion Designer is…  Angelique Benton!  It was a very close competition for the top spot in the finale.  Angelique managed to push it over the edge with her amazing collection and top notch simatography skills.  Congratulations, Angelique, excellent job!  Nathaniel Rivers and Viktoria Brinkmann also pulled off wonderful collections; congratulations to the two of you as well!  Stay tuned, as we plan to make our favorite looks from the finale collections available to you for download in the near future!  Also, Cycle 1 is over, but there will be a Cycle 2!

Our contestants rocked Challenge 7 – After Dark, a challenge inspired by the upcoming Late Night release and Halloween.  And now we are down to our three finalists! 

First, we have Angelique Benton with model Kamel May.  Angelique has won more challenges than any other designer, three in a row in fact!  

Next, there is Nathaniel Rivers with model Rachel L.  Nathaniel has been a consistant high scorer and has won two challenges. 

Last but certainly not least, we have Viktoria Brinkmann with model Charlotte Ambers.  Viktoria had a rough start, but she has learned and improved in every aspect over the course of the contest, and she is the winner of Challenge 7. 

These finalists are so closely matched at this point that there’s no predicting who will win, which makes for a very exciting finale.  Check back during the first week of November to find out who will be crowned Twinbrook’s Next Top Fashion Designer!

Challenge 5 was a tough one.  Our designers were tasked with modernizing a look for a fashion icon while keeping the icon immediately recognizeable.  They did an amazing job – take a look!  Now they’ve moved on to a fun one for Challenge 6 – designing wedding looks based upon a musical theme.  It’s hard to believe, but we’re just two challenges away from the finale!  Which designers will make it to Twinbrook’s Fashion Expo for Fashion Week?  We’ll find out very soon…

The fourth challenge is a fun one – to design a look for the Red Carpet!  I don’t know about you, but I love checking out what the stars are wearing at the Oscars, Emmys, etc.  There is always such glamour and elegance, and a lot of cutting edge fashion too.  Now our designers have the chance to dress up their “star” model and impress us with an amazing outfit and fierce poses.  We can’t wait to show you what they’ve come up with – we’ll be posting pictures for the challenge very soon!

Our second challenge, “What’s Your Sign?”, has ended.  It was great to see how creative our designers were with it!  You can see pictures for the challenge here and scores and commentary here.  The third challenge is in progress, and it should notch up the difficulty a bit.  The designers need to work with their models and some pretty difficult and unpredictable clients for this one – children!  We can’t wait to see what they come up with.

We were very pleased with the submissions we received for the first challenge!  If you haven’t already, take a look at the images our contestants submitted here.  You can view the scores and judges’ commentary here.  The second challenge is in progress, and we can’t wait to see what our designers will come up with!  No one was eliminated in the first challenge, but there will be an elimination this time.  Check back in a few days to find out who stays and who goes!

We’ve started the contest, and our first challenge is underway!  We received some very intriguing auditions from our designers, and we’re so excited to see their work as the contest progresses.  We’ll be keeping the web site updated, and you can also follow our Sims 3 forum thread.

Well, it’s time to find out if you have what it takes to be Twinbrook’s Next Top Fashion Designer!  It’s a battle of the fashionistas as you and your competitors take on ever more challenging assignments and strive to make it to the final three.  If you make it to the end, you will have a chance to show your own collection in Twinbrook’s Fashion Expo Show!  And the winner of Twinbrook’s Next Top Fashion Designer will receive a Sims 3 Store set of his or her choice!

Models, don’t turn away – there’s a contest here for you too!  The fashion designers are going to need some amazing models to wear their incredible designs.  All you need to do is audition your model, then sit back and enjoy the show!  The model paired with the winning fashion designer will also receive a prize – 200 points worth of items from the Sims 3 Store!
