It’s a Question of Style ~ American Fare

The poems from my life are where I strive to be in the world and not of it. Meet me through my ideas, my loves, my friends, my family, my passions and my failures. Take passage on a boat from Bremen that brought my German-Russian family to Texas from Ukraine before 1900. Ride the wagons with the hill people from Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and other Appalachian climes. They are the backbone of my life. Savor my self-righteous opinions on politics. Envision the places and people in my short images poetry. Know the pain of my losses so that you might better understand the pain of your own losses. And always remember that this is your chance to laugh, secure in the knowledge that the world is laughing with you!

After all, anyone’s poetry is what you make of it!

  1. Just the explanation of poetry I was in search of.

  2. You have been quiet lately.

The Bottom of a Bottle

Trust me, I've been there, I've looked, I've searched and I know now, that there are no answers to be found in the bottom of a bottle or on the edge of a blade! Fighting Hard, Recovering, Rebuilding, REBORN. Moving on from addiction to a new life.
