Its been so long… And there is much to catch up on!

Yes! So apparently, I have been told to go back to writing because I was getting too much free time. Also, I wanted to get it all out of my system, and what better way of doing that than writing.

It has been almost a year since I last blogged, and a lot has happened since. For one, I am going to start studying again. Yes, real, “oh-my-god-exams-are-approaching-and-i-don’t-know-shit” studies. Masters in Public Policy it is. Public-frickin-policy!! Who would have thought one year back that I would do anything but an MBA. And I was all set to do an MBA too. GMAT taken and a couple of colleges applied to and all the jazz. but then again, so is life. You can’t really plan anything. So anyway, the crux of the matter is, I am going to the University College London, to study Public Policy. Still cant believe it. Oh yes, and my parents are not really taking my decision too kindly. 😉

The year also saw a few relationships and a couple of almost-relationships. Nothing to write home about, really. Met a few amazing people this last year, RR, PP, TJ, MS, etc. Also, got rid of a couple of very very annoying people that I had been wanting to cut-off from, for a long time.

Photography is apparently the new hobby. And unlike the other hobbies in the past, I want to really follow it. Have been doing a few photo-walks and a lot of practice. I leave you with a few pics taken by me. Pliss to take note :D.

The Comeback Post!!!

Well, I have been QUITE out of touch with the bloggy. Well, i plan to change that soon. I PLAN to post very very often. and more relavant stuff, too!

Actualy that has been one problem that i have had since lon. I start something, MANY things, and then leave it/them mid way. I dont know why. maybe lack of interest, maybe lack of will to do anything. whatever! but yup. That has to change now.

lots to write about and lots to discuss. For one, i have shited to a new house. And Woah!! is it awesome or what! we are 3 people living already in a 4th floor flat with a couple of makeshift walls. The house was good, indeed, but well, with the descent of summers, it was nothing less than a chimney. The new place, on the other hand, is a 1st floor apartment, with all the furnishings and ooooh… a chandelier. A big hall, 2 bedrooms, swanky new kitchen and washrooms and an amazing balcony.

The scenic beauty 😉 around the house is also aplenty. Looking forward to some good times in this house…!

Hung-Over

Yup, it happened to me too. I am no more a hangover virgin. :|. Some friends came over at my place with ots of booze and food and other randomalities. It was fun though. caught up with long lost friends, friends whom i had not met since coming to delhi.

And yes, i needed it. i needed to get it out of my system and feel free’er. I have not ben in the best of the moods lately, and this really helped lighten up the spirits (pun unintended). So, these 2 guys came, and all of us (flatmates included) started our bakar session. lots of bakar, lots of catching up and lots of bashing later, we get to know that one of them has most probably missed his bus, one of them has probably just been ditched, and one of them has probably been sacked. 😐

How, i mean HOW in the world can such a horrible coincident happen. Well, i am sad for all of them but hey, atleast we had fun!! and thats what counts, really.

A trip home is sought this extended weekend, its been a long time that i have seen my folks, so Home it shall be this weekend. And Yay!! a boozeless weekend… Sigh. How i missed you, o’ boozeless weekend.

The First Step!

Starting a blog, it seems, is like a child’s first step… very vulnerable, very unsteady and a whole lot of apprehensions attached as we take every next step. But every step also brings with itself a hope to better the next one, and be steadier than ever the next time.

So here, i take my first steps of blogdom, as gingerly as a child, with trembling knees and eyes sparkling with excitement as the end of the first post approaches.:)

From writing in that ‘not-so-little’ diary, to this little blog, the steps have just started…. wish to be back here soon. Wish me luck.
