Last night I went through my Follow list for others’ weblogs. I was not exactly amazed at how many ‘bloggers we never hear from anymore (some even since 2020), but, perhaps like you, I miss them.
A few folks beyond the known deaths probably have passed on to that great WordExpress in the sky.
A few others moved to Substack (if that venue didn’t hound one to join before commenting, I’d visit more often).
A few could always take or leave WordPress or any ‘blog hosting venue.
Some WPers only posted when they were feeling up about something. Or down about something. We felt both, didn’t we?
I have met some online folks in person. It was not only fun, but there were no big surprises; we really do share selves, here.
Those meet-up days seem to be over for me, but even if we never meet in this human leg of the journey, I feel that I would recognize each of you beyond here someday. And you, me.
