Smelly handbag

I ordered a cheap handbag online a while back. It looked fine in the photos on the site. However, once I unpacked it I immediately noticed a not so nice smell. It’s synthetic/chemical. A bit like a cheap, sweet perfume.

I have tried to leave it on the balcony overnight. Even forgot it there and found it several days later. At first I thought it was ok, but then I realized that the smell was still there.

One reason I bought it was that it’s supposedly water resistant, which I need these days because of the weather. I don’t want to put it in the washing machine. It might ruin its original purpose.

Does anyone have a suggestion of what I could do with it?

I won’t be very active here for a while. Partly because I’m sick (flu) and partly because it’s Christmas. We used to celebrate but now, we don’t, because of reasons.

Vad är dina känslor om att äta kött?

Jag är vegan (djurrättsvegan). Anledningen till det är att jag inte vill att några djur ska bli dödade. Jag skulle kunna utveckla det här i detalj men jag tvivlar starkt på att någon är intresserad.

I’m an (animal rights) vegan. The reason for that is that I don’t want any animals to be killed. I could go into more details but I very much doubt that anyone is interested.

Corduroy – weird, cool or what?

This year seems to be a year for corduroy, wide trouser legs and more unusual colours. I have managed to get two pairs of corduroy trousers (so far). 

Since I now live in a small village (fewer than 300 people), I asked my sister how she thought people here would react to seeing me in corduroy. She basically didn’t understand the question. Why would anyone notice what material one’s clothes are made of? She could be right, but I know some people think it’s nerdy and weird to wear corduroy. 

So now I’m asking you, my readers, (again) what do you think? Corduroy – weird, cool or what?
