What’s New?

Find me in real life exhibiting at the Borders Art Fair. I’ll be exhibiting new paintings based on my new surroundings here in Scotland and the Borders. I’ll be at Stand 26 right in the centre of the fair.

On Sunday 16th March you will find me in the demo area between 2-4pm attempting a painting. Come see me have an artistic meltdown or to see a masterpiece in the making-who knows which it’ll be.

Exhibition in Chippenham

Chippenham Museum’s latest Spotlight exhibition is a vibrant celebration of North Wiltshire’s rich artistic history.

Dive into a collection that pays homage to the legendary Bath Academy of Art and showcases contemporary artists who continue to shape the local creative scene. With pieces from Kenneth Armitage to Helen Wilks and 38 more artists,  it also includes my oil sketch ‘Mine’ depicting a well known Box ‘shed’. This exhibition is a treasure trove of inspiration, education, and enjoyment for all.

Mondays to Saturdays

10am – 4pm

until 8 March 2025

New Country New Studio

I’ve lucked out finding a studio space within walking distance from my new home. As well as the arachnids and steps it also has a gallery lighting system which I’ve updated with energy saving daylight lightbulbs. Of course it doesn’t have heating…or even running water at the moment but it’s a fantastic space and I can’t wait to get started in there. Now which box are my paints in?

The Journey Begins

Thank you Scotland for treating me to a sunny two weeks before the gales took the colourful Autumnal leaves away and fell the apples from the trees. It was a welcome like no other and in between unpacking I hiked up some hills for some awesome views.

Of course moving means cardboard boxes and Margot was no slouch finding one to suit her taste.
