The dream of the common man

The meaning to those who are of wit and to whom can say they belong, being called the common man is not a derogatory term – for they all know, man, woman, child – grandfather/mother, student or pupil – that we all are as common to whomever and whichever that needs to be said; we are all akin to each other.

We must make haste in knowing that we all have the fantasy of winning the lottery and never working again, though there are some who would, even then, work until, they drop. We live with the dream of securing a safe job, some a career. One where we can work for our income, one where we can, indeed, share both in the input and output of the companies that we should work for.

We seek that if we are ill we are looked after. We seek that if we are poor we do not starve. We ask that if peril awaits – there are those who can protect us. We ask that those coming after us never see what we have seen.

Yet – in answer to a dream of a common man we have those, Conservatives, who do not want the same dream as us. They see us as an abomination. They see our kindredness as an anathema. Something that should be derided because we do not feed their vile instinct of self. Conservatives are, to me, a subject that should be both observed and pitied.

Why the rich stay rich: they don’t invest like the rest

As the BBC have now come to the conclusion that they are going to simply be a bond on the letter of the government – we see that they are not doing what they should be doing, exposing this vile government for what it is, but just to let you know how to become rich.

How the rich became rich is either by inheritance, winning the lottery or by exploitation of the worker. The inheritance part is included in this because they money/wealth came from exploiting the worker, too.

Obviously, to the BBC they want the status quo to continue. That means that they can get their vastly over-rated salaries, and they, too, can keep the people from looking at what the BBC should be doing, investigating the deaths of so many people at the hands of this government – or telling you that being rich is easy, just invest in property/art.

What bollocks!

BBC – Capital – Why the rich stay rich: they don’t invest like the rest.

Corporate profiteering, Non-voluntary volunteering

I am past the days of stating the quite obvious that neoliberalism is a force for evil. It is, but that is just a way of saying how much effort I put into it not how much you take away from it.

To be brutally honest – if you believe in neoliberalism you are either a complete dunce or a tit. Neoliberalism will, and never has, worked. Not happening man!

Mostly laughable is the people who believe in this shite are the uber-wealthy or the just-above-desperation class. Not that I am against them, it is they who need to organise more than anyone else against those who are proffering this garbage. Yes, next, will be a long run on how ‘human rights’ are such a bad thing and how private companies will make sure we are all safe and sound. You do have to chuckle because that is the spark that will light the long, slow fuse to a uber-wealthy’s demise, so that worth looking good.

The AAV man is well worth the follow.

BBC Sport – Ryan Giggs: Man Utd manager backed by Anders Lindegaard.

Not politics, but as I am a Man Utd fan, I agree – Giggsy is the man for the job.

The graduation of the neoliberal is global war

There will be a “company-sized” contingent of US troops headed to Poland for “the first in a series of expanded US land force training exercises.” In the coming days, US troops will also be heading to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia for similar exercises, for a total of 600 troops in the region by the end of the week.

The build up will be slow – but what is the US going to do with an army opposing them that actually does fight back?

How capitalism works …

I watched a film, Love Actually, it was on the TV and I heard Dido in the background, and as I liked what I heard I went on the internet to look it up. As always you never end up just listening to that song and you begin to click the links … blah!

So, I came across this. but, you may ask, what has that video got to do with capitalism? The fuck!!!

That video is how I see capitalism in a form of exploitation of the very worst off in life. Even to the extent of exploiting a disaster.

Charity, a form of capitalism, is utilised as a way of getting some cash out of you so you can feel better about those whom have had limbs ripped off, or for the most part – not dead. Even better if you can get multi-millionaires doing a vid, quite sickly, to highlight that people are dead, a lot of them, and make a song (cover, not original) so you will buy it, raise their highlight (false tears by that chic) – you will buy their next song ‘cos you’re so into them now.

How much of their millions we see floating about in the charity pot – not that much I would suspect. But still, they made a nice song so we all can feel good about giving them a lot of our cash because they advertised some disaster somewhere in the world where the people lived in abject poverty anyway – but mother nature stepped in.

The exploitation of a situation is what capitalism is, either the person, persons, or fact.

Capitalism equals exploitation. End of.

History, do we learn from it?

Here you can read the full article – but what stood out to me more than anything else was this:

(1) A deliberate policy of inciting competition between natives in order, by division, to maintain control; (2) a disregard for pledges and promises to natives, no matter how solemnly made; (3) the introduction of total exterminatory war against some communities of natives in order to terrorize others; and (4) a highly developed propaganda of falsification to justify all acts and policies of the conquerors whatsoever.

Now, take out the word native, though that is as important as what I say next, put in the words ‘working-class/middle-class (if you’re in north America)’

Even from the long dead days of colonisation of the ‘New World’ liberals and conservative capitalists have been using the same tactic – and the reason for that is it works. Well, it does until those oppressed organise.

You have to think – and I know this is hard for people to do, and I am not being facetious, it is hard to think about the terrible mess we have allowed to be built around us. It is even harder to think back to the days where history has been so filled with propaganda that the dreams you have will never seem real – yes, the 60s, 70s were really that good.

You have to educate yourself about the vileness of neoliberalism, but you do not have to become an economist to do so. You just have to take your blinkers off to see the world around you. And that is the easy part. Your country is dying because of these policies – so are your people. They have taught you how to worship what they worship – and that is not God. They worship money, or the illusion of having it.

THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Really? Have you ever noticed how those who scream this lamentable bullshit are, for the most part, those who step up and say we need more discipline in schools, and if the kids can’t behave then add a few police officers so the kids know what discipline is.

To me – they are just liberal fucktards!

Watch a bit of this.

Yes, because of all that discipline, and because teachers are so anti-establishment and will teach kids commie stuff, they are putting their kids, and ours, through a system whereby it’s more akin to prison than school!

You want children who can pass a test and nothing more. All this idiots want is for children to come out of school to go to work – anything other than making profit for large corporations, or business in general, is deemed, by these same imbeciles, as the best way forward. It is fine, as we see all to oft, that Simon Cowell, can exploit hundreds of thousands of people so he can become a multi-millionaire on the backs of the dreams of a few – and those same people who are denigrating teachers for asking that children should thing, sit those same children down in front of the box to watch Cowell’s money making machine in action – and they think it’s brill!

You don’t want children, you want pet’s!

We did our best to make capitalism work

This can be said of many government – of many people, even the vile Murdoch’s of this world, yes, even they tried to make capitalism work. They, like the Labour governments of the UK, failed. Because, as the rest of the quote goes by Tony Benn – “and we failed. It never can work. It will always exploit and oppress the people.”

Because that is what capitalism is, and libertarianism, and Anarchy – all work well under fascism. And, to me, and millions more that look toward the horizon, is where we are today, one step away from fascism.

Why do we, on the left, keep telling you that capitalism has failed? It is a matter of trying, futilely sometimes, to wake you up to your own oppression. Each time you even feel you cannot pay a bill, buy a pint, pay for the fuel needed for your car – that is the feeling of oppression. It is not a gulag, a concentration camp, a death squad – it is not being able to enjoy your life as you wish. We will keep telling you that socialism is not the dirty word that so many who play the propaganda game will have you believe. They, by the way, are the very same people who keep telling you that you are not worth a living wage to pay for the things that still oppress you. It is they who support the capitalist system which is used to oppress you! And you accept it because you have been told for so many years to do just that, obey.

There is a film/movie coming out about Tony Benn – I do hope that you can take your time to see it, here is a small trailer about him, the film.

Neoliberalism – the pyramid scheme

It really isn’t hard to look at neoliberalism and see where the title comes from. The top get immensely wealthy, those in the middle tiers work but get little, those on the bottom try to support all those about. If you look at any pyramid selling scheme you will see the very same thing, they are all, basically, the same.

On person gets you to invest in their new scoop, you will, of course, make a killing. Not as much as them, but that’s how these things work – for bringing you to the idea they make more than you. You, in turn, try to sell it to your family and friends, realising that most, if not all, of your family and friends are not as money orientated as you have become – you wonder why! Added to that you realise that you really don’t have that many friends – full stop. There it stops for you, but those that interested you in the idea go on with the bullshit because it pays them to do it. For each ten they talk to 1 will think this will work. The only person it works for is the scammer-in-chief.

That is how neoliberalism works. It keeps offering you a kernel of hope for it to be dashed at the door. But those that keep bringing it to you know you have hope and will try their new plan again. Circles, circles everywhere.

But, what you have to realise is that neoliberalism is as old as the hills, it is just repackaged capitalism. Conservatism plated for a new age, a new generation, a new you. And you will lap it up until the day you, and all those who are other you’s, realise that there is a scam going on, and it is a scam that is taking your life, and your money away from you – no, not those poor bastards that have nothing, those who don’t even get on the bottom rung of this pyramid scheme. Those at the top who want all of what you have and are asking you to be thankful for giving it to them.

Educate yourself about this, because, one day, while that top percentage is raping everything you believe in – you will become pissed off.
