Hi all,

Years ago I teased another prequel named Jill’s Lesbian Affair (there’s subtle hints to it throughout the Uncertain Cuckold series and the woman is named) and I wondered if people still want to see it completed?

Also, I’m considering doing new books within the same universe, exploring supporting characters. Gary’s ex-wife Jen, for example, has always intrigued me as her story remains largely unexplored. What exactly happened in their marriage, we already know they were swingers, what led to its downfall and what has she done since? How would she feel if she knew her friend Jill had been fucking her ex-husband? And what about her ‘friendship’ with Claudia (Jill’s childhood best friend).

As for Unburdened, the book cover will be revealed in a few days.

As regards progress, I’m also about to get a new laptop. The last one is so old it’s made using the word processor impossible. It takes half an hour to open and freezes constantly. Meanwhile, the stories and strands are running rampant in my head and need to be written asap. I’ve tried using a word processor on my phone, but it’s not the same. I can write good quality 2,000 words a day on a laptop (more if there’s time, but on average around 2,000) whereas writing on a phone just feels like texting. It’s not good, and I don’t like editing that way.

When this new laptop arrives, my productivity will go through the roof again! You’ve all been warned.

Admittedly, it’s been a long time since I updated my blog. This has been for a lot of reasons, none of which I’m ready to talk about in detail. But my attention has been brought to bad reviews on Amazon, stating (falsely) that the series will never be finished. The comments within these reviews have been pretty positive about the work itself. People just seem to be annoyed that it appears unfinished. However, they’ve been attached to 1 and 2 star reviews. If you love my work, be honest with the stars you give.

The gap between books 6 and 7 of the main series has been unfortunate, but partly a conscious decision. The series needed a break before it ends. And in this break several years have passed. Unburdened doesn’t just resolve the wedding, the identity of master and more twists, it also throws us forward to 10 years later.

I’m so tempted to do a teaser for the 10 years later, but I don’t want it to be a spoiler. Ah, f*** it. I’m not saying it’s necessarily Matt’s baby, but perhaps it is… Tara’s pregnant. Jill isn’t. Someone else is… Who is she? Was there ever a Lauren in any of the 9 existing books (including prequels)? What about a Safiyah?

Believe me, I haven’t retired. Far from it. I’ve been working on various projects under different pen names.

Please don’t try to identify who V T Vaughn is. It’s more fun being a secret.
