Unloading my bike and I was already riding within minutes. I decided that the coastal road would be beautiful and fresh in the morning.
An owl residence
It was raining heavily the night before so the field was still blotted with water. I encountered the owl shelter and decided to have my a picture taken there. I have never been this close to one. Opposite this shelter sat the Power Plant which I have always seen from the side facing the sea.
The Powerplant
Along the coast, I passed by a huge crowd of hopefuls in a fishing competition. The must be about 1000 people along the three kilometers stretch.
Eager Participants
I took a break by the shore and a group of mountain bikers passed by. The gentle wind was pleasurable with the temperature warming up for the day.
Warm and breezy
I noticed some of the houses were still affected by food. Most areas were already cleared.

Boat came home from the sea
Venice of Perlis
My last stop before heading back to my daughter's school.
Most people focus on tangibles mainly due to the fact that they can be touched , grab, hold or simply point at them. The tangibles become part of our personality with devices, personal brands that we assumed the characteristics of us. We identify ourselves with the tangible goods that we hold.
A better focus should be on intangibles. Even though it takes ringgits to achieve tangibles, it is always easier than the intangibles. What makes it tough is focusing on our intangibles takes pure effort and focus. How we expand our mind in making intangibles convert into meaningful action is tough.
A good example is our inner sense of direction. Our inner spirit, or soul, is an intangible. Some may call it our drive; others may call it simply as knowing right from wrong. When people have a strong inner sense of direction, we know they have something special. It is strength of purpose. It is calmness in listening and doing. It is being centered. Living with an inner sense of direction needs to be developed. It is a practice of faith, mindfulness, and "spiritedness". It was a pleasurable ride :-)
