Does it even matter anymore?

I turned 37 on Tuesday and I don't feel the same about birthdays as I used to. I really don't care much about them because my focus is elsewhere but I have to say that I feel so loved from all the birthday wishes, e-mails, cards, and calls. It's a regular outpour of love and I needed it folks...thank you!!!!

We had a dun day at Disneyland with some family and if I get really motivated I will post those photos...don't hold your breath or anything though. :)

Sienna's Second Birthday

I guess the guilt of not blogging since Easter has finally crept up on me and forced me to enter a post. I had so much fun planning Sienna's party because all she wanted was Minnie Mouse. That is very easy. There are so many websites out there that you can just order a birthday in a box type deal and boom it is on your front doorstep. She really wanted a Minnie Mouse Cake so of course she got it. Her birthday was exactly two months ago on June 24th and I feel like we just had her first birthday party. Wait we did...it was only a year ago! A year flys by when your old.

Highlights from her birthday:

She licked her smash cake like a cat
She got tired of opening gifts, ran off with her Minnie sticker book and left me to open the rest of them
I got to see friends and family that I hadn't seen in awhile
Brett was around
She loved the bounce house, her friends, and the pinata
She partied hard

Who wants to go get Easter Eggs?

This is our second year having a potluck and then an Easter egg hunt. We got out of bringing anything this year due to everything being packed up in boxes but are grateful we still were allowed to join in the fun. We were kind of a mess. We didn't have a basket for Sienna (thanks Rebecca), no food, and no camera (thanks Jean).

Finally

I am happy to announce that we are going to be into this little two bedroom house by April 1st. After looking at 43 homes most of them with Sienna, we finally found one that fit all of our requirements. The number 43 includes the homes I had to see twice, Brett looked at thirteen, and Sienna was dragged to 39. I found it on Westside Rentals but I was also using a realtor and Craig's list too.

Anyways, the excitement of it all is keeping me up at night because I have wanted this for Sienna for awhile now. Apartment living has it's conveniences but bring on the house. We are so ready!
