Bad News…

Hey guys. I just tried to get into my Summerstone Game, and I keep getting the message that a serious error has occurred and that it is strongly recommended that I restart the game. I believe I have lost my Summerstone family. 😦 This sucks to the extreme, but there doesn’t seem to be anything I can do to fix the problem. I tried using the backup, but nothing.

I’m terribly sorry. But, as I stated in my previous post, you can check out my Berry Sweet Legacy, A Life in The Lights.

😦

Blog Update!

(Click on picture to go to A Life in The Lights blog (Generation 1 was titled A Secret Identity, so sorry for the confusion :P)

Woah…it’s pretty much been forever, right? Well, I’ll tell you why! Honestly, I’m kind of ashamed that I let you faithful Summerstone legacy readers down, but I started a Berry Sweet Legacy! I just started on the Second Generation.

If you would like more information, you can check out the thread HERE. Check it out!

I will try and update this, now that you guys have gotten my interest back in it, but I don’t know how often. I do, apparently, have the next chapter coming out soon. I’ll get right on it! Maybe I can switch from A Life in The Lights and Summerstone Legacy on and off…hmm…

😀

Summerstone Legacy Gen. 2.13

The boys were the first to have their birthdays the next day. Faun and Jung could not believe that their oldest children were becoming teenagers already! Teenagers! What was the world coming to? But, when they bounced into their parent’s room that next morning signaling that they wanted to begin the celebrations, the whole house was in a joyous mood.

Joseph blew out his candles just before his brother did, after he came up with an on-the-spot wish. He knew what he wanted.  After his brother blew out his candles, taking much more time to clearly think out all of the possibilities of a wish, he was ready to grow! What would it be like to be a teenager?

After he grow, Joseph immediately knew what needed to be changed. For one, his hair. What an atrocious haircut! it needed to be styled. Last, his clothes needed a make-over. He was going into high-school, he needed to be cool. So, he headed off to get transformed right after Jebidiah grew into a teenager.

Bright-eyed, wise Jebidiah did indeed follow suit quickly. Faun knew he would be the more responsible one, unlike his daring older brother.  Later on that day, through an unfortunate incident, they found out that poor Jebidiah had grown with a bad allergy to meats and therefore could only eat veggies. It would be a big change for the family, but one that they could handle.

They both had quickly commented on how they hated the way their hair was and changed their hairstyles. Of course, Faun loved them any way they were, but she liked this hairstyle better than the mop of unruly hair they had earlier, like their father had.

No break was to be had, for the triplets were bouncing around waiting for their turn to grow up!

Elyssa was definitely the most eager to grow up. She took in all of what was happening with excited, bright eyes. When her daddy started to blow out the candles, she pushed on him to stop and continued herself. She must have had strong lungs, because she blew them out in one breath.

Elyssa was as beautiful as could be. She had hair the color of her grandfather’s and eyes as bright as his. Faun and Jung knew immediately that she was just as witty as he had been too. They fell in love with the young girl she had become quickly. Although, she did seem to have an unbearably thickness to her hair that she found hard to deal with, so she just stuck it in a braid over her shoulder.

Evan’s turn quickly pushed its way into the celebration and he was on his merry way to becoming older. Faun knew that he was eager for his birthday. He had been bouncing around a lot lately, and that was so not like her little passive toddler.

As soon as he grew up, Faun and Jung could tell his more gentle and quiet side would quickly grow out of him. After the celebrations had ended, he had immediately went into the living room to start exercising. I mean, what child wants to EXERCISE? Certainly none that Faun had known about. Sure, kids loved playing outside, but not him, he loved being in the presence of a radio or TV to coach him in different exercises or a gym.

The youngest little Alexander was next. Faun knew that this child was going to grow up with some issues, he had always been a touchy baby and toddler. And he sure did. While he loved the outdoors and spending time with his siblings, he had grown into an over-emotional sort of little fellow. Faun and Jung hoped that this would not interfere with life as it was now. They still had no clue why he was this way; maybe, it was because he had a large number of siblings older than him and he couldn’t handle that, but they just weren’t sure.

That day, after the meal was eaten and everyone was in one place, Faun and Jung announced a family trip to a nearby park. They were all so thrilled!

Faun had never gone much anywhere when she was young. Only to school and a select few other places, but she never even had a job. The only place she could vividly remember was where she asked Jung to become her husband.

Summerstone Legacy Gen. 2.12

The family mourned the death of Monique for a long while afterward. The children constantly sat down with their mother and asked for stories about Monique’s life. Faun loved telling them about her mother. She explained how her mother was such a hardworking women who loved her husband and child so much.

While the family started to get over the death of Monique, Alexander seemed to develop an over-emotional side to himself. He would scream and cry in the middle of the night, not like ever before. Faun was getting sick of coming to pick him up only to be slapped in the face by her youngest son.

He would shake his crib, scream at the top of his lungs and generally keep his family awake wishing he would stop so they could all get some sleep before an early morning. But he was relentless. Had this all been brought on by Monique’s sudden death?

Yet the Summerstone Household went on as usual in their busy every day lives. Monique enjoyed not having to clean the house while trying to take care of her three youngest babies. The maid was a welcome relief to the chaos of it all.

Joseph and Jebidiah seemed to grow a bit apart, not spending nearly as much time together as they normally had before school started. Yet they both excelled in school. While Joseph seemed to spend a little more social interaction time at school than work on his grades, he still received A’s or B’s. Jung and Faun could not complain.

Jebidiah on the other hand studied his equations, questions and books faithfully, always finding it easy to stay ahead of everyone in the school. The teachers were stunned by how much of a genius he was.

Meanwhile, Joseph spent his time at home eagerly playing with his little siblings, trying to help out his mother and father whenever he could. Evan loved his older brother and looked up to him. His first words were not ‘Dada’ or ‘Mama’, but rather ‘Jojo’. He loved rattling off his older brother’s nickname all day long.

Needless to say, ‘Jojo’ didn’t mind the admiration much at all. In fact, he treasured it.

Jebidiah started to begin building towers from the blocks his parent’s had bought for his siblings. He loved building things out of the blocks and then tearing it apart and starting fresh.

The triplets started to get along better, always playing blocks with each other. Although, Elyssa did manage to sneak off and draw with her crayons or with the xylophone. They got along very well, a fact that Faun and Jung were very happy for. If they hated each other, life could have gotten a little hectic. Of course, with Alex’s constant crying during the night, life was already a tad chaotic, but they loved each and every one of their children the same. No matter how high maintenance they were sometimes.

The dreaded days after the weekend arrived. The boys always hated Mondays. Going back to school after a wonderful, fun-filled weekend of no school was torturous to say the least. They always got up later than they should have and trudged on out to the school bus with long faces. Faun could only laugh, they didn’t realize how easy life was for them now. Wait until they got to high school!

No, she didn’t want to think those thoughts! Not her beautiful sons, going off to high school. She couldn’t bear the thought of her children growing up so soon.

Every day when Faun would have the time to venture outside, she would enjoy the beautiful sights of her glorious house. The house her father had worked so hard to build up. The recent additions they had made for their three little babies was very welcome. It left them with little money in their wallets, but she knew her father and mother would have been proud of the beautiful house they are built up for their future generations.

Future generations. She sighed. She knew very well that her children were going to grow up soon, get married and have the fourth generation of the Summerstone legacy born. She could not believe it. They still had not risen to much fame in the town of Riverview, but maybe someday they would. Maybe someday they would be known for their founder and their history. She knew that was what her mother had wanted when she had come to Riverview.

Joseph didn’t put nearly as much effort into his homework as his brother did, and in time, his grades began to go down just a little bit. His mother and father were not happy with this and forced him to work harder and be diligent with his homework. He respected their wishes and did so, even if he wasn’t happy about it. His younger twin on the other hand was brilliant and completed his homework in no time, proclaiming that the work was to easy for him. Joseph could only roll his eyes. If only that was his case.

Jung worked hard on his article proposals. He had finally finished his book, The Rubellite Encryptor, but it had not gone over well. He didn’t get many royalties off of it, and certainly no one wanted his autograph for it. So, his work had asked him to write a few articles for him. He had worked on one entitled, ‘Pocket Lint, A Composition of the Rich and Famous’. It had gone over very well, he got paid handsomely for it. They had asked for another front-page headliner. He had chosen to write about the man behind a bestselling book.

Life went on like normal, every day bringing new surprises and new worries. Yet, it went on nonetheless and birthdays had crept up on them all. Whether they wanted it or not, it was time for Faun and Jung’s birthday.

Faun’s came first. She didn’t feel much older, but she knew that she was getting up there. Her hair’s curls had fizzled out, leaving only a slight wave. Just like it had been when she was a child, so she went back to the hairstyle she had then, and it worked out well.

Jung was not looking forward to his birthday, he knew he was getting old. Life had passed him by quickly. He was much, much older than his wife, but they still loved each other more than anything could explain. Faun was downhearted at the arrival of his transformation into an elder, this must have been what it had felt like for her mom when her father had aged up before her. But, she didn’t mind too much. They were still madly in love!

Get rid of that cake, tomorrow was going to be a big day filled with celebrations for every one of their children!

Summerstone Legacy Gen. 2.11

Every day brought new memories and new troubles. Little Alex seemed to be a whiner, but he had the cutest sad eyes. It was hard for Faun to not give in to him. Monique loved her little grandson, even if he was handful to carry. He was always pushing to get away, being over-emotional, but he was still a sweetheart.

Little Elyssa was getting along well. She showed many artistic qualities that Faun loved seeing. Whether it be unique finger-painted pictures or little pictures put together by crayons, Elyssa loved every work she did and waved it at her mother proudly. Faun could not have been any more proud! Maybe she would grow up to love painting as much as she did!

Faun had not gone out to paint the picture of her mother in a long time. She figured she could get to it on those days where she just wasn’t busy.

Although he wasn’t nearly as quiet as his older brother had been, Evan reminded his parents so much of Little Jeb. He had the same facial expressions, hair color, eye color, you name it! They loved him to pieces. He was a caring child who loved his siblings very much, even if Alexander did seem to cry a little too often.

Meanwhile, life moved on fast. Faun could not believe that the next day, her sons would wake up and head off to their first day of school! School! How could her little boys be growing up so fast? They took life one step at a time, not seeming to put any worries up. Joseph was bolder than Jebidiah, who seemed to be more relaxed and into reading or playing Chess. Just like his grandfather had been.

Monique had set herself up a beautiful garden, where she worked as long as she needed every day to make it beautiful. She had such a passion for that garden. As well as for taking care of her grandchildren. She was such a good role model. Faun adored her mother. Where would she be without her? Utterly stressed and bogged down with life, she was certain of it. Monique stayed up long hours to make sure her grandkiddies were properly fed, cleaned and in bed after she would send an exhausted Faun and Jung into their beds. The boy’s weren’t much help in taking care of their little siblings with school in the way, but they fed them and played with them whenever they could.

Joseph loved sneaking outside after his homework was finished and playing on the new playground his father had built for them.

With so many children in the family, Jung knew that something would need to be built outside to keep the children from crashing the house. He loved the idea of the whole family sitting outside and playing together. He could only long for those days.

Elyssa had found a recent passion in pounding on the xylophone until her mother’s ears burst. That child needed to find something else to do besides give her mother splitting headaches every day. Monique could see this, and knew just the thing that would help.

Walking! Monique knew how Faun had been, as soon as she started walking, her mind was solely concentrated on that. Once her little granddaughter took her first step, she knew from her determined face, that she was going to be hoisting herself up and trying to walk on her own from now on.

Elyssa’s walking was followed shortly by Evan, who seemed to think his sister’s walking was the coolest thing. He wanted to be just like her! When he started pulling himself up onto his own two feet, Jung immediately jumped in to help. He loved his daddy’s strong arms to guide him!

One day, while Monique was busy helping Elyssa with her walking skills, her whole body felt tingly. She stood up, only to feel herself shaken and dizzy. What was going on?

The family didn’t see it coming. Monique passed on that day to be with her husband in the grave. It had been so completely random that she would die this early. She had lived a long hard life, but also a prosperous one. She had started the Summerstone Legacy!

Monique was not ready to go though. She wanted to spend more days with her daughter, son-in-law and precious grandchildren. As much as she wanted to be with her husband again, she wanted to be with her beautiful family.

She pleaded with the Grim Reaper to spare her life, even if it was just for a few days. She wanted to see her grandchildren grow up just a little more. But the Grim Reaper was merciless. He would not allow her any more life to live.

She reluctantly went to the grave. To rest with her husband. She would be back though! To see her children and grandchildren!

Meanwhile, the family mourned the loss of their dear, dear mother and grandmother!

Summerstone Legacy Gen. 2.10

“Can you blow out your candles, Joseph?”

Joseph had leaned over the cake, almost falling into it, and blew out the candles just like his father had showed him. Faun loved how he clapped his chubby little hands after. It had been a peaceful night, and now started the day filled with birthdays! She could not believe her two eldest sons were becoming so old! School would be starting in a few days. Life was passing by quickly.

Those all too familiar sparklers lit up Faun and Jung’s oldest son and he twirled around, trying to grab them. Faun snapped a picture, to remember his cute little face by, before he turned into a handsome young boy.

He reminded Faun so much of herself, but also of her husband. Monique loved her oldest grandson, but could not pick favorites. It was time for Jebidiah to shine!

Little Jeb leaned over the cake, just like his brother had and blew out the candles with as much force as his brother had used. They all clapped for him and Monique set her grandchild on the floor for his turn to grow into a child.

He grabbed at the sparkles just like his brother before him had. Giggling and twirling, he jumped into the air, only to land as a child.

While he looked similar to his brother, Jebidiah reminded Faun of his father. He looked like an exact duplicate! She was so pleased with her sons. They were cuteys!

Someone was crying upstairs. Faun smiled. Now it was time for the real challenge to start. The triplets were going to grow up too!

First up was their beloved Elyssa. She had been different than the boys were. She had a higher pitched scream when she cried, and was more fussy than the boys had been, but Faun and Jung loved her just as much.

The whole family was shocked when she grew up. She inherited her grandfather’s hair color! And his eye color as well. She was a gorgeous little girl, with bright smiles and large, searching eyes. Monique held her tight, just looking into her face and remembering her Jeb through her granddaughter.

Little Evan was next. He had just woken up, and was sleepy through his entire birthday. The whole family was excited to see what their little son, grandson and brother looked like! Would the triplets be identical? Or fraternal? Faun was sure they were fraternal, but she was equally excited to see how her child would turn out.

The whole family was loving how he looked exactly like his older brother Jebidiah had looked like when he was his age! It was an uncanny resemblance.

The day had gone on a very long time, and the cake was gone just before it was time for the youngest, Alexander, turn to age up. They settled for him growing up in his bedroom.

Little Alex also inherited his grandfather’s hair color, but his eyes came directly from his grandmother and mother. Faun and Jung were excited for the days to come with their two eldest and three little darlings. They decided that they needed to get right to potty training, walking and talking. It was going to be awhile before they got to them all!

Summerstone Legacy Gen. 2.9

The Summerstone family was shocked when Faun came out of the hospital with three babies! The eldest of the three, was a beautiful baby girl. They named her Elyssa.

She was a beautiful little girl and both Jung and Faun were very happy they had a little baby girl.

The next little baby was baby Evan. He was a handsome little guy. Faun and Jung immediately fell in love with him, like all of their other children.

And then the youngest in the family was born. They named him Alexander. He was a cutey, even if he seemed to act just like Joseph before him with his whining when he immediately reached home.

Joseph and Jebidiah seemed to adore their three little siblings, and always played in their room. Faun could not have been any more happy for her mother’s help in taking care of the little kids than now. It was tough having to take care of three little babies at the same time! Monique loved her grandchildren though and helped in every way, shape and form.

When the house started to get messy and Faun found no time to be able to clean it without being too worn out, she called the maid service. She needed someone to come over and clean the house every day!

Through the everyday life of caring for the triplets, Joseph and Jeb grew bigger and cuter. Faun could not believe how quickly they were growing up! Their birthdays were almost upon them already!

For the first time in a long while, Faun was finally able to start a new painting project. Her children had settled down as the days progressed and she was able to one afternoon, stand outside on her porch and start a painting of her mother.

She could not finish the painting unfortunately. She would get to it again sometime.

Now, it was time for a HUGE day filled with birthdays for every one of her children.

Summerstone Legacy Gen. 2.8

Things didn’t go well for the rest of that night and day. Faun found herself constantly getting up to throw up in the toilet. While she hoped she was pregnant, she didn’t like having to deal with this!

Every time she moved, her back ached in extreme pain as well. She hoped this didn’t mean that the baby was in harm’s way.

Meanwhile, the boys grew every day, getting bigger and bigger. Faun and Jung worked extra hard at teaching them how to walk, talk and potty train them. Although they couldn’t have done it without Monique’s help. She was a great grandmother, who loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world.

Faun and Monique could not help but comment on how much Jebidiah looked so much like his father!

My pregnancy went better as the months and days passed. It got more comfortable for Faun as it progressed. Her back ache mysteriously disappeared and her morning sickness diminished. The whole family was buzzing around, excited for the due date. Jung wanted a new baby so bad.

Faun was almost positive that Joseph and Jebidiah felt the exciting vibe that was going around the house. Joseph stopped his crying, allowing his mom the entire night to sleep. They weren’t demanding either. Although, Faun was very grateful for her mother’s caring of the boys when it got hard for her to even walk let alone bend down and pick up her two eldest.

During the whole commotion of the new baby and taking care of Joseph and Jeb, Faun completely forgot about her fish, Gurgles. So, it was with great sadness that she had to scoop him out of the fishbowl and down the toilet in the next few days.

Then, the moment arrived. Faun could feel her contractions coming on. She called for her husband. It was time for her to go have a baby!

((Sorry for no labor faces. I  could have sworn I took a screenshot of them, but I can’t find it anywhere. Weird.))

Summerstone Legacy Gen. 2.7

Oh, yes, the big day had finally arrived! Faun was so excited to see who her boys looked like, although she had an idea of what they would look like.

Being the eldest, Joseph grew up first. He looked like his mother with his lighter blond hair color.

And then came Jeb. He looked VERY much like his father with his brilliant green eyes and yellow-ish blond hair color. Faun and Jung couldn’t have been more proud that they’re two sons were the handsomest boys on the block!

They grew up too fast. Faun was kept busy every day, with the help of Monique, in potty-training and teaching to walk and talk! Life was busy around there, but Faun still couldn’t put away the thoughts of having more children. She loved kids. She had wanted a brother or sister when she was younger, and wanted more than one sibling for her children.

Monique, truthfully, wanted more grandchildren as well. She hoped Jung would consider it!

A few night’s later, Jung told Faun that he did want more kids. Now that stress was calming down at work, he could enjoy more kids in the house. So, they decided to go for it.

Little did Faun know what would come to them in the future…but the first time she threw up, she was excited. Did this mean a new baby? She dearly hoped so!

Summerstone Legacy Gen. 2.6

That night Jebidiah decided to visit the house and see his new grandbabies. He was just as surprised as everyone else was that twins were born! But little Joseph and Jeb were the cutest things. Even if Joseph cried a lot.

With each passing day, Faun and Jung could see each little personality come out of their two little children. Joseph was definitely the one who craved attention, while Jeb seemed to sit back and enjoy life quietly as it passed by.

Work was demanding for Jung, and he often came home stressed and weary. He would trudge over to Joseph and Jeb’s room and comfort himself in cradling his children. Although, some days he just came home and slept, not being able to keep his eyes open any longer. Faun felt sorry for him. Even though she was stressed enough as it was trying to care for her two little boys, she was thankful for the comforting and helping hand of her mother, who quit work to help with the boys.

Life went on. Faun, Monique and Jung poured out their love to their two little babies. And then…the day arrived…
