So much better. I guess afta doing a jump, rollercoasters aren't too scary afta all (onli scary on the stomach afta 5 diff wans!) .. so finally my childhood fear of it is dispelled for good thanx to 3200ft of clear empty sky. :P

The eve of Christmas eve..

23rd today thats why. Have to work...aiyah. BUT at least I got paid last night! :) $$$->550. France , here we come! but I think I need a printer tho...aiyah. that would be almost half gone..
Plan to go back up to Belfast on the 2nd or 3rd for a friend's 19th bday(emma) on the 3rd in Limelight! Another tick to the list of clubs I've been to. hehehehe...I think I really should make a list.
Exams afta xmas hols...AIYAH!!! (big wan somemore) study! , study! study!. Then afta exams got 'plans' get gf! hint* (she's in Med Chem Queens) darn exams!... well honestly, you can't please EVERYONE at the sametime (which applies heavily on the fairer sex) so I'll just have to live with it.
Theres always a regret siut.. recent one- last day of Basic Chem 1 usually I sit next to Amanda (a german who is sebijik like a northern irish) in lecture not my usual buddies Andrew, James and Emma. It was a bit of a hungova morning tho plus I was still bedazzled by the night before so in need of a fellow comrade I didn't sit next to her?! so what!?

At the end of the lecture came a 'you didn't sit next to me' plus a stare that made me think 'ohh..shit, what now..' A ping of regret when Andy reminded me chem eng don't have anymore basic chem modules next semester so? got her mobile can contact wad..
But regret anyway la...

*something went horribly wrong with my strikeout...

I'm back!

Man...this few weeks-crazy...in the almost ALL aspects of my hectic college-'goer' life. Its simple, try and juggle your social life and college work and frequently, work together. Most of the time, its an unfair balance but 'wut the heck!?..' :)

Social side of it seems rosy , and is almost at a high now. Never felt better than this before in that field -lol. Course work is dodgy tho...up...and down and down and DOWN (fails organic chem last week) then UP! (did well in a few other class tests plus Chem Comp and CAD)

Personally, time-keeping has improved notably.. not late to class anymore. Thinking to change my current stats of 'single but not available' to 'Let the HUNT begin! ' ......sorry if the fairer sex finds it offensive.

Last week of college now, before my xmas hols start this friday. Have to go out one day this week... :P Today ,out of the blue, after a series of events that churns up different emotions at the same time (but at the wrong time) I suddenly longed for a the feeling of comfort and protection of a home, MY HOME plus my family.... Imagine finding out a few worrying things before you do 2 test in a ROW!! I could actually see myself crack under pressure.... bowing down to it. Until I let that feeling run around for a while (must be them hormones..)
But then again there is no hope if one despairs... until something in me injected a dose of endurance , hope , and pure determination into my flagging soul.
'Why do we fall?'
'-to learn how to pick ourselves up again...'
My usual inspirational programme kicked in- MasterChief /Spartan117 and King Leonidas from 300.....I'm not crazy over the game , its just that it means more than a character to me , a hero who's determination and endurance inspires me...

'Owh...wut the heck again!? ..' I think I bore most readers up to the 'inspirational stuff' part....
Then again...'Believe'

Thursday 29/11

Man..I haven't updated in a while. Either didn't have the time or just plain pure laziness.
Don't even ask about the jumbled up playlist you are listening to....
Dublin today after mitching a tutorial to TRY and get my UK visa done only to find out I've filled in the wrong form AGAIN.... so there I was, attempt numero trois (3) .

Back down again next thurs for no. 4....
Might meet up with Caroline next week if she's free, we'll see how it goes..
Back in Belfast by 5. KFC coz I couldn't be bothered cooking today. Plus a match at 7.30.
Can't remember the amount of times I drifted in and out of sleep on the bus on the way up and down. Its like losing conscious... vision fading...and BLAM!.. we're in Banbridge...fade again..BLAM!.. Drogheda etc...

Ever feel mentally exhausted? Thats basicly chunks of my days this week if I'm not having my -'Happy Days..' mood. Urgh..don't even remind me about my practicals tomorrow and my weekend working... AND my organic test ..*list goes on....

Got a BORAT book for Fatson for xmas in Dublin but couldn't resist reading it myself...damn good. Laughing at it in the bus back to Belfast if I'm not sleeping. Have a habit of sleeping on the bus (which eventually is gna cause me problems!) like -'always set your alarm approx 1 hour when you leave Dub to Navan or you'll wake up in Slane! ' :P

Xmas shopping...what am I GOINA get for Uncle Micheal , Pat and Ding??
--Start cracking!

-Another slap to the face....

Wanna kno what it feels like? Pick up a bucket of ice/water and splash it on Wong Wei Jiat's face...

It always seems to come out of a asian female's mouth...
'So, where is your gf?'
'And don't say you don't have one...'
'I don't believe you,...liar..'

-Another slap-
Not the first time anyway..guess I gotha live with it.
Use to take that as an insult. espeacially @ The Brats camp..sial....

'What do ya expect? Hellooooo! I'm only 18?!'
-or-
'I usually meet nice ppl in the wrong place and at the wrong time..'
-or-
'I'm free-lancing.'
-or-
'I suppose ppl in your country get marry @ 18 huh? Well, not from where I come from anyway..' :P

Does every new waitress have to ask me that?
J'en ai le ras le bol.... ;)

T.T

Flippin' hell!
Supposed to buy rice or potatoes when I was in Tescos but apparently I got obsessed with my new '-WOK-' untill I forgot....
Goin' out to buy some chips then..

:P

P-R-O-M-I-S-C-U-O-U-S.

WKD Iron (orange) would be the best ones of the multi-coloured famliy. :P
Crazy tuesday......
After some butt-numbing session of CAD and Gaussian (which adds up to 5 hours in front of a pc) Class was ovA!
Badminton at 7.30 , a must-do activity once everyweek or preferable more. But at the same time , promised Gerard that I'll be heading out to the M-Club that night as well so it was a tough decision (as they were meeting up @ 8.30 at KFC) Them 'northies' have a strange habit of going out so early..
So I stuck to badminton then ,till 10 waaaaay past the 8.30pm promise I made...
A few good matches came my way-lost a few matches as well... 'win some lose some i guess..'
As usual, wrecked after the badminton session still pondering about going out untill one of my flatmates-piped in-'you're still young, full of it ..go enjoy yourself etc...!' That really tipped the scales and put on your boots young sir! 'We're goin' hunting! :P
..
...
....
.....
......
.......
20 minutes of waiting just to get into the M-Club?! ridiculous or wad?
It wasn't too bad of a club actually,...no wait, it was actually good. Besides it being P-A-C-K-E-D.
Found Gerard (who's there since 8.30!!) and met a whole bunch of people.

-All smiles for being single!-

No more said.
Apparently I was geting 'comfy' with a friend's friend.....lol.
Big -BLANK- for the series of events by the time I got in and this morning.
Good night out anyway.

P.s -I'm a good boy. Don't ask stupid questions...lol.

-Obituary-

7.45am . Another usual monday morning.
-Take That-Rule The World as my alarm tone today.
-Sleepy as usual.
-Plan to get up around 8.30 for a shower then fly to class as usual.

-Phone rang..
-1 missed call before this.
-My mum in Tapah with a short message on her way back to my kampung , Sitiawan, Perak bearing news that my grandma passed away. Heart attack.
-People come people go right?
-Heck thats wrong....very wrong.....
-Observed a few minutes of silence to honour the dead.
-Shower.

8.55am-Outside the DKB thought about it abit on the way. 'What happens when people die?'

'Is there salvation?'
'The light at the end of the tunnel?'

I do not wish to question the existance of God but deep inside that question pings off my conscience....

But then again, it wasn't a too bad monday.
Going out tomorrow night with Gerard and co...
Something tells me wednesday morning is goina be dodgy.... :P

Sath-UR-day-s

--> Weird isn't it when you have nothing to do , you REALLY have nothing to do but when you finally get something, you get a truck-load flung at you...

-->over-slept this morning , courtesy of HALO 2 at 3am the night before. Pegged it down to the Old Bridge Inn and guess what? burst in the doors at the nick of time to watch Rose and the lady who's giving us a lift leave... hmmm...I wonder sometimes, how long is my luck goina hold out.? Too many close shaves...

Watched Queen Elizabeth today @ cineworld , Dublin with Jamie today instead of the intended Stardust- weather wasn't the best but it was 'watchable' anyway. Not a load of bullshit history and glorified English civillization or maybe it was? Probably the second point....-a mon avis.

Is scampi actually a type of fish or shrimp??

Flipping work again tomorrow and the weekends to come.....what a boner-killer!
reason to go out on week days? seems valid enough...
There goes my weekends spent at the Willows...

Heat of Combustion?

What day is it?
-Its wednesday now. 14/11/07?

I think I just got my wings clipped..

'I have a condition from you.My son. (Serious)

This year a Singaporean diver died due to the clip jam..infront of the friends..why have to do that?? This is life..pressure your life not playing with it JUST TO GET SOMETHING EXCITEMENT..AT THE END..PAY BACK SO SORROWFUL especially the sibling have to suffer the pain of lost.

I have decided to make my last choice to pull you out from the univercity AND BACK TO MALAYSIA if you can't stop of doing it again....(draw yourself out of the society, and join others games(not dangerous game ok) '

Above is some details from an email of a worry-ridden mum. LOL . Man...so much for France next year....
Ah well.... :P

Badminton club last night-beat Liang again in singles so its now 4-2 to me :) The dude is on the A-team for Queens and I only recently got promoted to the C-team?
Damn annoying at first when you're ranked 6th in Leinster's U-19 but I just got on with it anyway.. badminton-social sport now for me. To relax..

Was it worth it afterall?
-Uhuk..

Woke up on a wednesday morning only to find cold drizzly rain to accompany me to the DKB but then again , no amount of rain can dampen me if its goina be a good day!

Got this new habit of calling Rob, a Nob or Nobby... hahahhaha. Whoa..respect..respect ppl's names. :P

Pool after a interesting lecture by Dr.Walker and unwittingly persuaded Andy to challenge 2 girls in th next table for doubles ...
'Darn..there goes our reputation and pride again.., sailing away.. with them 2 biomedical chicks'

Another weekend.

I'm bummed, exhausted , burned out , 'out of gas' , tired , wrecked , knackered ......

Je suis fatigue , Gua letih/mau kantoi......

BUT

I had a good weekend /and a half.

I was a good boy :P

I was sober enough. (*pats myself on the back)

I played badminton :)

I met some Malaysians my age old people in Queens

I enjoy trying to do as many things as possible in the shortest time. :0

AND

It was also weird when I gave my number to some random chinese girl I met on the bus...

BUT THEN AGAIN...

I got the bus and slept happily -briefly and went straight to work. And its weird with the manager in the restaurant treating you nice all the time while he 'panggang' everyone else's balls and eat them for breakfast. But his daughter is HOT tho.. hehehe lol.

Retires for the day.
Over and out.

RAPS-Basic Training.

Had to get up at 6 on sunday AND Sultan from next door is certainly not helping at all by having a drunk debate with 2 girls he brought back. So far I always had the impression that the walls are sound proof till that night. Got up a wee late anyway but hitched a ride with Joseph and Gavin anyway to Coleraine. Quite far....
Training was quite long and there was plenty of stuff to know for a brief jump only. Its almost like doing an assignment-' do this..., don't forget this,..yea and calculate this...blah-blah-blah...do that..' Seriously who the heck is goina remember all that at 3500 feet falling free-fall ? LOL
Training was interesting enough- they had plenty of fancy stuff to stimulate a jump as well. It was until the most important part- where he explain all the possible 'malfunctions' or 'uh-owh.. situation' (as I call them) was I abit nervous then -like theres basicly 101 things that could go wrong up there. E.g - 'blue skies above your head' , 2 canopies , stuck to the static line or broken static line... scary stuff. But we did the appropriate drills - 1000! 2000! 3000! 4000! check canopy! -no chute!/cacat canopy!- Cut! , Away! , Reserve! , Arch!
Board the plane and away we go! left the door open and just enjoyed the view... Climb slowly to the altitude of 3500 feet and approach the DZ. 'Feet out!' ..... 20 seconds of eternity and the command 'GO!' came and I left the safety of the cessna 203 , 4 seconds of free fall (and flipping) a tug and the main chute is open! Completely forgot half of the drills as adrenalin just took over. The feeling of having 3000 feet of nothingness and air between you and the ground is just -WORDLESS- , or even -PRICELESS- The descend was quick but the view is breath-taking.. Wondered if I should open my jump suit and reach for my phone to take a pic? Nope- Mr Nokia's staying where he is untill he's on solid ground plus there were plenty of equipment to interfere or snag on to if I'd tried so...
Managed to land in the right direction of the target but landing was rough and hard thanks to me-flaring last minute to avoid a ditch and hedge on the edge of the field while the ground control's shouting in the radio-'Pull up! no.3, Pull up! , Flare! flare! flare! ...'and *crash! , *bump ! , *flops! , 'ooowwwww.......' my right leg felt like it was jack-hammered... struggled to stand *pain ,*pain , *pain , *pain , and more pain..The landing had to taint this experience huh? Part of life.. take the sweet with the bitter ! :P
Mum rang during training and was obviously worried as she though in my email -when I told her about it , she though I was joking '...see , didn't read the text properly and lose points..'
She was worried sick and just asked me to ring her when its over -immediately- and hung up... When it was over, was thinking -
-should I ring
-its 2am in M'sia...
-yea ..
It was answered immediately.... say she'll never sleep should I not made that call.
-'Promise me you'll never do that again.'
-'Can't..' (*winks)
-'Thats a very dangerous risk, just do it once thats all.'
-(in my mind-free fall next time) :P

-|Update|-

Down south at the moment. Have to settle a few things down here. Back up to Belfast tomorrow (sat) . By the way-the train is a rip-off! a single is 2X a return journey by bus...
Currently reviewing----> 'Is going out twice a week good for you?'
Good- Its fun, to mingle and mix around sometimes wasted.
Bads-Hang overs-seriously affect the head the next day. Bad for my pocket as well not to mention.
The debate rages on in my head....
Got some stuff and studying to do for this monday-2 tests... NOOOOOOOooooo.. plus a nuclear reactor design calculations report by wednesday.
Didn't get much sleep this week at all. And pushed myself to the limit physically and mentally. Need more sleep... Sky diving on sunday! Wooooo!
BUT-
I've to get up at 6.00 am or earlier.... Hmm...the earliest so far is 7.45 -that is to turn my alarm off to doze off again. LOL..

Badminton Club Pub Crawl '07

Wednesday night -Scholar's Bar , Botanical Inn , The Eg ,The House. Note*-a pub crawl is going to different bars/pub in one night. Fun! :) It started at 8 but I was with the sky diving club when they meet up in The Parlour at 8. Just wanted to get more details from them...and we are clear for lift off! 4th of november here we come! Jeezz...some guys actually jump 3 times a day man! and they do it every weekend....heheheh.

Off to the Scholar's then in the union at 9 to meet up the badminton fellas. Wasn't too late -they were still there. A game of pool ( a few) chit-chat ,get to know more people or even to know some people better! -e.g Lian, Natalie,Rama,Dave and a good time to top it all. Had this 10£ coupon thing I got for being part of a survey I did on tuesday which I could use at the bars in the union and and used it to good effect-bought drinks for gals -lol. :P

Good night ,had a good time. But sorry people most pictures are quite blur (camera phone no flash wan) plus it's dark. Didn't noticed Eric'c sister initially-she blended in soo well as an Irish not as a french at all! Friendly person-so is Natalie and James.

I think I'll just let them pictures summarise the rest got to do my pre-labs!

L'Eric!

Wooopss...!!

Weekend-er!

My P3 practical that I partly screwed-up -ooooo that innocent blue liquid...EVIL! not to mention stubborn as well.
My first weekend in Belfast since I've been down to Dublin the last 2 weekends. The streets around the university are unusually empty. Indian food on sat! Pretty good. Memo*-don't order any drinks there next time! A rip-off.
Studied a wee for my class test on monday and off to badminton to pass time (3 hours) Damn, I'm still fit! Thought I was goina die after the first 2 hours but I suppose thats what I used to do in school! lol. Everyone's home! only the international students are seen ,well some of them anyway.
Went downstairs to watch the rugby finals between S.Africa and England with the frencys (Lucas and Eric) which quicky developed into ANOTHER awkward position for me when theres like 9 french in the tv room and a innocent looking 18-year old sipping his beer.
Not to mention the fact that they are postgrads (20 year old++) Did understand bits and pieces but lost overall in their true french accents. I regretted the day Lucas and Eric found out that I understood french! Why do I even hang out with his french buddies!? Match over-jettisoned my ass out of there back to some real Dublin accent back in my corridor and just sat at the kitchen with the lads till 1.
Seem to be taking my life at my own pace which is (very slow!) people saw- 'you're pretty fast on the badminton court..' Do things like a tortoise all the time tho! Walk also slow now.... Seem to obey my own rules of time and space. Which maybe explains the worrying increase of public transports I missed. Sometimes I do wish theres more 1st year international undergrads! So far all the ones I've encountered were post grads or final year students bar Ray in Chemistry.

Random pics from my phone.

Chef Wong

I'm gloating about it now.......
My glorious black pepper chicken!
(note-black things not cancer causing agents but rather the tons of black pepper I accidently put in! lol)

Shit, Iactuallycookedmyowndinner30minsago!

What a day!, finished with my lectures @ around 11? I COOKED! College is waaay, different that school life in its own ways. Plenty of pool is one thing but its so flexible and more relaxed (well it gives you the impression of it anyway) although you have to do considerable amounts of work and my laptop is not helping me at all....
Hang around at the science library with some course-mates on the intention to finish the pre-labs and post-labs but as usual, ended up as a social event. Got very little nothing done. Off to the union then after that .Paid for 1/2 hour of pool yesterday with Rob and Jason but ended up playing for 1 hour 15 mins and got away withh it. :) . Bonnie's (Bernadette) going bungee jumping!? goina go watch her piss and shit herself hahahhahahahah! Considering it at the moment.
Bought some stuff at Tesco with Hung ,a Vietnamese corridor-mate. Grocery bill- 11£ for some chicken, a red pepper ,black pepper, olive oil ,kicap, apple juice, potatoes and eggs. While walking back to my apartment ,kept wondering how to cook my dinner without -
a) setting off the fire alarm.
b)burning something.
c)product is EDIBLE at the end of the reaction...lol
d)fill my stomach.
I was actually prompted to cook my own food when I though of my own joke of trying every flavour or product of Goodfellas frozen Pizzas after 4 years in college (which is sad!)
So away we go! chopped the peppers , marinate the chicken with kicap, olive oil, salt ,black pepper and my finger-prints. Too much oil on the pan (which means oil splashing out at you when the pans hot) no pain, no food. Chicken drumsticks hit the pan with a sizzle in my nizzle don't know what that means!? Woah....chicken cooks faster than I thought. A company of red peppers then were parachuted into the fray to add the flavour. Flip punya flip then lifted the pan and shake like you see in tele. Starting to brown evenly , ok add more black pepper- lift open the cover not remove the entire cover of the container! NoOoooooooOooo......... 10X times more pepper then I wanted ,poured unto the chicken as I muttered-'shit'. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise it really gave the aroma and hence my 'I-dunno-what-I'm-cooking-chicken' became a respectable 'Black Pepper Chicken' , no sauce , dry and full of flavour and smoked the entire kitchen Some small baked potatoes to compliment my main course. Should have removed the skin though. Ah, well....learn as we go!
Totally enjoyed it and offered some morsels to Sultan, Hung and David. Thumbs up people! :) Moral of this story,-not all fuck-ups are fuck-ups for sure until you endured to the end. So stick to your guns for any who considered giving in!

Basic Chemistry.

Don't ask me about the title....just another flotsam that drifted by in the oceans in my head.

Internet down in my room (more like I didn't know how to connect) fixd it anyway now. Back down south for the weekend (again!) Worked on sat night, busy enough...went home looking forward to dinner in front of the tv and lo and behold POTC 2 was on! Was enjoying it till Kelvin and Idel rang to ask me out to The Old Bridge Inn (uncle's pub) of all places!?
Good night out anyway-learned how to pull pints and got them for free while they paid for theirs :) .Went home at 2 after 3 pints and feeling tipsy...should look at Idel! she's drunk alright! lol. Out with some french guys last thursday badminton , dinner then pub and the 3 french guys met up with the other frencys and there I was ,surrounded and feeling weird again- 'err.....je parle un petit ......err....peu francais...' We were talking about the guinness ,stages of it- the cream , smoothness to the after taste. The last time I had guinness was when I took a sip back in Malaysia from my uncle loooong ago and Lord, it burned my innocent young throat .Now, it tasted fine. I'm not an alcoholic by the way if some of you had that impression- use alcohol ,don't abuse it. There is a difference.
Back in Belfast now. Still pondering over Idel's words -'have fun in college but don't get tied down in a relationship especially when it gets serious....' Time to revise my policies again.... :)
OOooooo...assignments stacking up slowly....theres Chemical Computations , understanding Basic Chem , Chem Eng but I take it this way- its basicly mathes and chemistry ALMOST EVERY DAY....1 practical every week.

Tagged by Bone2.

Down south for the weekend. Missed the last bus to Navan last night @ Dublin , had to ring my uncle to pick me up at 12 pm....lol. Uni/college life is GREAT! tried rock-climbing yesterday with Rob and Bernadette and practically just hung out with them the whole day. Bernie actually looks a 'wee' like Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy! -strange..... had to do some assignment where we have to UNRAVEL the science behind 'VANISH OXY ACTION' a stupid stain remover..... who the heck picked that for our assignment!? Bernie! Should have picked super glue or the super-cool spray on plasters.... Stuck with this anyway to do a 2 page report with my group anyway. :(

Ok back to business- TAGGED (list of 10 things ppl don't kno about me)

1-When I was in 4th year back in Gormo ( I was new back then) a girl offered me a blow-job (what a SLUT!) . Was disgusted and graciously declined the offer.
2-Sometimes wonder what will I be like or what will I be doing if i didn't make the choice to 'jump' to Ire.
3-Had a few handfuls of 'crushes' I had to suppress (or rather keep it low!) in the past due to the 'unsuitable' situation I always find myself in- Ok, time to bare it all! HECK I might not even see them again! :)
-List includes the following -lol :P -Grace , Caroline , Chloe ('o7) , Vivian , Nikita , Avril Lavigne Lol... My chest kinda felt lighter now :)
4-Nearly got my ass and Jin's hauled off to the cops about 2 years ago in Court 10! Adrian , you owe us on this.....but I always thought the bastard (guard) was just tryin' to scare the shit outta us.
5-Used to fantasize about Halo and Master Chief until recently.
6-Someone saw my ding-dong before by accident when I was training the girls Under-16 team thats when I got jocked by my own cousin! revenge was swift and unforgiving after that. (Jocked him back about 3 times!) ASS!!!
7-Saved my own cousin from drowning when I was 14 in Endau Rompin (initially stood there saying 'Look , action movie! ' to my other cousin while my other cousin was screaming for help)
Ran over then and jumped in! CANNON BALL!!!!
8-Practiced, experienced and really grasped the meaning of the expression - "savage butchery" during the year end senior outing at the end of 6th year when we went paintballing Shoot at people as they surrender and slowly walk to the neutral stations........ I will forever remember when I found this guy lying down ,waiting to ambush my team in an "OUT-OF-BOUND" bush next to the trail. Shot him once and heard him winced and surender-paused a second before gunning him down close range as he screamed while I thought -'cheaters don't deserve a chance in any competition' give no quarters and take none. 'do unto the other what he would do to you before him' was the motto of the day. People shoot me as I retreat/surrender and I returned them the favour. Knocked out literally for a round shortly after a head-shot above my protective mask.....
9-My nightmares are always about losing people that are close to me the kinds of nightmares that makes you wake up panting and sweaty...lol Apparently I heard that if you take cheese before you go to bed you will have nightmares? How true is that? Well, I'm goina find out one day.
10-TRIED smoking marijuana before just a few puffs but didn't liked it - parallel to my standings of trying out stuff just to know whats right and wrong. Offered so many times but only did it once and most probably will never do so again- its VERY bad on the lungs. Well this is not acceptable in the society from which I came from but I don't give a fiddler's fart about what some 'kataks under the tempurungs' might say.

First week in College or rather Uni!

Officially moved into my 'home' for the year-Guthrie House, located DIRECTLY opposite the Lanyon Building (main building). Guess I was lucky-very close to my classes most of the 1st years are in Elms Village which is a good, long ,hard 15 minutes alk uphill for them everyday. Downside-I'm living with all the post-grads (ppl doing their Masters or PhDs/old ppl!) not that I really care. Its a flat/appartment thingy where we share the toilets and showers as well. But social interaction is VERY limited here- each corridor has its own locked door ,restricting access to other people's room (girls espeacially!) so basicly get to hang ut with ppl in the same corridor only-a spainard, an arab ,a few americans ,a few locals , chinese guys and a vietnamese and on top of that , throw in a 18 year-old sesated Malaysian undergrad. Very multi-cultural heh?

Got a laptop yesterday for about 500£++ at Currys in Belfast city-happy with it so far. Free internet in the room some more.... Needed it to download all my lecture notes from Queens Online anyway. Someone forgot to tell me that uni is WAYYY.....harder and different than school or college man. So many people-we mix with the chemistry students for most of our lectures. Theres only like 20 of us chemical engineers but like 50 of them!

So here I am studying at the apparently no 2 uni for Chem Eng in the UK-something to smile about in the future. :) First day, first lecture-got lost had trouble finding the lecture hall in the David Kier Building to make it worst, they changed the room numbers recently so I was 15 minutes late! besides, I already missed 1 week of the lectures so I was a 'wee' lost on the first day. Slowly caught up eventually (I think!) after spending an hour everyday on revising.

Jeez...its soooo big that you meet new people everyday! plus I'm very bad in remembering people's names! - 'urgh....hi!...er...yea, How are you? er....whats your name again? Joined the badminton club here as you can OBVIOUSLY guessed its great!

Getting a taste of college life now, starting to enjoy it! :) Got a fancy glass trophy after winning the September Open Round Robin (badminton) in Dublin last week! :) Nice trophy....best one so far....

Lo and behold! Masterchief is back! --Finish the Fight-

Halo 3 is officially released!! Was at some dinner with my uncle and his girlfriend in Dublin (dinner with all the 'apeks' from the chinese golf society) and as usual, I was bored at the event. Everytime after a round of golf (competition) they would just LOOOve to gather and eat in some fancy chinese restaurant-not that I mind the food but the fact that ALL of them are about a generation older than me-like your father or even GRAMP!! Relieved when it was all over-outside , in front of St Steven's shopping centre there was a line of people at around 10pm! Went over and asked the guy whose last in line ( a chubby/fat Hong Kee-Singaporean whose doing medicine in RSCI) and my heart just skipped a beat when he mentioned they were waiting for a video game! -HALO 3! But simultaneously at the back of my head I was thinking- 'Wow! can't imagine him pulling a chick! Poor chap...) Btw people, lemme introduce 'yous' to Spartan117 / MasterChief from the Halo series-my idol..... :)
Think he's cool anyway. Spent the journey's time back to Navan-drooling over playing Halo 3 then (if I ever get my hands on a x-box 360)

When I got home. Got a call from Pat purely and specially just to give out to me! What the hell man!? Really, she's the worst 'nagger' around the 'Dings' ever produced. Thank God I'll be moving out soon , REAL soon! haih...what to do , when people(women) get old they just wanna nag to express their frustration if they happen to feel powerless that is. Packed my stuff then burned the midnight oil by satisfiying my needs to play Halo 2 since I can't get Halo 3 yet...

Confirmed with the Uni that I'm choosing the masters degree programme over the honours degree one as my results satisfied the requirements. (they only need 3 years to do a degree in the UK but 4 for the masters one) Wow.....that had me thinking-a master's degree when I'm 22? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
ARghhh...!!!!!! bleeding ulser in my mouth! HATE them with a passion. Severely disrupt any eating pleasures with the ever-present annoying pain. Air ticket changed to the 9th of july next year and its all done through phone in less than 5 minutes. Amazing isn't it?

ayy... or YAY!!! -?

Its official , the tables have turned again. I'll go straight to the point- i've been accepted to study at Queen's University , Belfast. -Chemical Engineering. Went up today and got some stuff sorted. Paper work will follow on wednesday or thursday. Accomodation is sorted- living with a bunch of post-grads! Looks like a nice place. Living expenses are actually cheaper up north. So I guess its bye-bye Monash and Australia then and Helllllooooooo Belfast.!. Just have to ring up KLM again and change my flight ticket which is due to take me home on the 4th of October. Kinda thinking when I made that decision- damn it! I'm goina close some doors in my life here... ahh well. Wherever life takes me!
Need a laptop now. Free internet in my accomodation!

Arsenal beat Derby County 5-0. And Liverpool draw! Really hope Arsenal win this season. BANGGA siut! ....Watched the Arsenal match ,the delayed screening one. First goal , -hats offs- respect and gleam!
Damn! I've got bad skin! Looks like more vege to my 'almost-no-vege' diet should do the trick! Out the whole day yesterday home from Dublin at 5 then work at 6 till like 11.30! Stayed up then till 2. TIRED! and bored...Currently still waiting for UCAS to process my application to Queens Uni in Belfast. if not then balik rumah! Just wanna go to college somewhere and settle down not just hanging in uncertainty like this. Partly my fault for being too relaxed as well i guess..
Printing and publishing on toilet paper? Maybe even writing short aesop fables on it to help children (more like encouraging them to read while shitting) prevent constipation? Viable or another one of my wacky fruits of my thoughts? like drilling a hole through the earth's core from europe to australia to shorten travel periods But I actually thought the one with 'making peninsular M'sia an island' but ,making a canal at Segenting Kra (Thailand) to starve out Singapore is within logic. But heck why do I even bother thinking about these things...
Less than 2 weeks now to 4th of october.... Decisions , decisions...... I wanna get James Blunt album! 1973 rocks! Earning your own pocket $$$ is fun! spending it is better!

My greatest NIGHT out so far. :P

S.A.V.A.G.E-One of the few words to describe the night of 13 September. :)

It was the Annual Gormo Debs(prom). Held in The Park Inn Hotel , Dundalk up north near the border to Northern Ireland. Fortunately and unfortunately my date, the lovely Caroline lives in Dundalk-5 minutes away from the place. Unfortunately is because I appeared to have no date when everyone met up in school first. It was awkward explaining over and over again that I'm not doing it solo and my date's in Dundalk already.

Anyways, got the 'party bus' up to Park Inn and it was great! free drinks and live music on board, what more can you ask for? -better than a limo that I initially wanted.... Dave on the left here is a great guitar player and Conor, predictably stepped up and took the stage to entertain us with songs like Wonderwall and Tenage Dirt Bag. He's good no bother , playing the guitar upside down (because he's a leftie) and still manage to play the song. Even Iris by Goo Goo Dolls-our graduation song! *sobs ... Had a glass of champagne and a can of bulmers on the bus and was a 'wee' intoxicated when I got off and met Caroline there. She looked pretty if
not gorgeous or dead pretty! :P Got a hot date Woooo*!!!

Reached the place around 8 something , forgot to bring the camera so i borrowed Ting's when I was bac in school. Didn't take much pics anyway besides I admit, I'm a lousy photographer! as you can probably judge from these pics. but thats not the point! NOOO....

The debs was it. Met more of my ex-school mates at the lobby and Damn! Mo and Crino got a helicopter to take them to the debs apparently! Their parents must be printing $$$ big time! but it was obvious anyway when Crino bought a pool table outside the rec-room. Sadly most of my teachers weren't there! only some that taught back in 4th year or 5th year. Catching up on old times
and seeing familiar faces..-its all good.! good ol' Sinnot is as cabbagy-headed as always! Pooles still a big bird no matter what, Jin still look like the king of Huns , Nathan broke up with Quiva after a looong time. Chops got the 'Pornstar' award , Clinto -'Scumbag' award hehah!... Mo and the 'Rich-Kid' award.haih

Dinner is served! -nice place ,nice soup too! main course-turkey and ham. usually got that in school on sundays-not really into it then. Didn't really eat much that night. Found out something new after dinner-ya know the helium you can find in them balloons? if you breath or suck it in, you'll have a voice like Tweety the bird -I'm dead serious.... but we had a good laugh over it anyway! At first she tried and good lord! her voice change! passed it to me but it doesn't seem to work. tried again taking in more and voila!-jijiman with squeaky voice!

We stayed back for a bit at the table when the club opened but I remember having the best piss
of my life when the toilets were
temporary closed when someone apparently threw up all over the place! eeewwww...!! and the hotel staff a lady guarding the door while they were cleaning it hinted us ( there were a few of us!) to stand cross-legged! -to hold it in! first time I eva heard of that! didn't really worked anyway and 2 mins they told us was like 10! plenty of 'aahhhhss.'.....in the toilet later. Finally we headed down to the night club and it looked class! Got some drinks at the bar first then I had to be coaxed down to the dance floor- Can you imagine it?! me dancing? -'no way Hose!' but just to keep her company I did! *swt! Admitted at first that dancing is not my 'thing' but kena dragged down anyway....

The first 2 times admitably was awkward no bother! my NOOB beacon shone out for miles and it felt like everyone's watching but as Caroline would say-'no one's watching plus you won't see most of them in the future anyway' Thought about it ,it would come handy later and away we go!

Basicly danced the night away and since she thought I was goina just abandon her during the prom-I was almost never 2 metres away from her all the time! lol... We would just head out to the floor dance till we were tired or head off to just chill and chat at some corner at the basement until some good song come

on and we would look at each other and just say 'lets go!..' off to the floor again! She was a decent dancer if not experienced! and along the way, I just picked it up and 'bogeyed' to the groove! *Wooot!!! if we (mostly me!) don't know the song we just stuck to each otha and sway thats all! Wasn't too bad now that I've tried it!

So there I was at the beginning of the night who had to be coaxed to skipping like a goat to the dance floor! had a great time and there were 'moments' as well with some songs that we'll never forget! e.g. -'Beautiful Girl'-Sean Kingston , "All The Things That I've Done' -The Killers -It was just great.., good ,bloody brilliant , can't put it in words...

They were also bouncing around some big balloons-real big ones! on the dance floor :)
Had like er...4 bottles of barcardi breezers orange of course! , a budwiser , a bulmers , a glass of champagne (that taste like over-fizzed beer!) a sip of Caroline's Malibu and orange through out the night and guess what!? I WAS SOBER!I mean, the last time I had a pint of heineken I was already tipsy...it was great craic anyway. .

Danced/chatted/chilled till it was 5am. Then we went upstairs for breakfast- hungry as I didn't really eat anything for dinner. 'Delilah' came on and we were excited until after we got down the stairs our legs were aching... someone stepped on her toes...lol :P downside of wearing heels. So to basement again! Our usual dark corner seat was taken so new spot then with place to put our feet up some more..That was until 'Chasing Cars' (Snow Patrol) came on! lol.. up and gone again... slow danced to that and to all the other songs they put on then...

In the end, dawn broke, 5 am the next day. The splendid night had to come to an end...*sobs . Buses were arriving to take us back to school , she called her mum to collect her.

Plucked up the courage to ask for a goodbye kiss - she just replied -'maybe...' with a cheeky grin. Well ,...theres a first time to everything and God, that was my first kiss. A chilly morning became a wee warmer after that. I can't put it in

words......warm, moist? , pleasant feeling ? it was nice alright..but weird in its own way.
Her mum soon arrived then talk about timing.... a goodbye hug and good night! and twas over... *sobs....
Got on the coach back to school and 'konged' out till we reach school..

I'm wrecked! :P

Another day spend going out...went out everyday since I touched down last week except for sunday where I stay home with J. I wanna just sit home and stay there! after all the kai-kai. Anyways, back to school today. Good ol' Ollie is no longer the principal and is replaced by Miochain. Finn's the vice principal! My odd and weird maths teacher. Met up with a load of guys and damn! I do miss school....
Prom/debs is on tommorow night , met Morgan on the bus to Drogheda-didn't kno he was there till he texted me saying-'turn around and look behind you' . Forgot to go collect my suit and stuff today so I guess I've to do it tomorow morning then. Caroline's not repeating 6th year and heading off to Trinity instead.-Happy for her. Nothing much that I could think of now... Gotha get some sleep cause I'll doubt that there will be any sleep at all tomorrow night! WoooHoo!! Can't wait for it!!!

We All love Doritos-tangy Cheese! ;p

Aujourd'hui il fait beau et il y a beaucoup des jolie filles ici.! Nice day today despite the forecast for a lousy rainy day-guess you can't really trust what people tell you.... Nothing much on sunday really, honestly.Heh. Monday-heavy breakfast to start with then out to St Margret for a round with good ol' uncle Ding. Played quite badly I think-par the first 2 holes and crashed to double-bogeys. Weathers nice -nothing to complain about...
Decided with Caroline that I'll head up to Dundalk earlier than the bus from school and her mum will pick me up at the bus stop and send us both there. I don't really see a point of getting a limo but I would actually like to if it wasn't 200 bucks++ plus I've no-one to share it with. God...meet the parents...lol. Scary part first. Next problem is-I'm definitely not taking that bus all dressed up (to look like a misplaced idiot) plus I've never been to Dundalk! Its up north, near Northern Ireland. Things will fall into place eventually (I think!) ok NOTES- better tell her not to put soooo much make-up on first , stick to cider won't get tipsy too fast and better keep her accompanied-she wouldn't kno anyone there. Can't wait to see all my old buds!!
Will head out to Dublin tommorow again this time to pay Trinity College a visit and maybe meet up with Alexander the Noob. This time my uncle's goina send me up so that saving 5 bucks on the bus fare. List of things to buy-shirt for friends (supposed to get them last week when I'm up there but was on the phone till the shop closed!) ,a specific ear-ring for my mum at Killarney's ,-a stupid teapot for my mum again... (The last time I went with Caroline, we bought the wrong one...)
Ok,on wednesday might go back to school to pay a visit to some friends (Jack's Fan Club!!) and teachers. Haih..too bad Ms Rock left the school already, luckily Olie (principal) is not around (so I can't tell him 'Fuck Ya! -in his face) but instead I can thank Mr O'Miochain (vice principal/physics teacher) he's one of the few rare people I actually respect and look up to even more than my dad. I have to say, the fella is just a genius plus he's sound.... Tabik* and theres my under-16 girls badminton team whose all moving to the under-19 catagory now. Sobs* they make me proud... Goina return as one of Gormo's badminton legend WOOT! the undefeated singles player. hehehe boasting now. Have to control myself...mu..s..t control my..se..lf..

Captain Jiat Sparrow!!

Dude! is time slowing down or is it just me? Had quite a day yesterday! Awesome day! in a nutcase, if only everyday is that eventful....
--Out to get my debs suit in Navan town, the first few shops ran out so that got me worried for a while. But eventually found a shop with suits for hire. Got a black coat, a sliver-gray waist-coat, plus a black bow tie, that should do the trick....
-Home for some delicious fried rice and after whacking 2 plates of it, offered my aunt to do some house cores. (that part wasn't that nice!)
--Got a 5 minutes notice for my uncle to swing by and head out for 9 holes of golf. 27 holes so far... Playing on monday in St Margeret's and heading up north(Belfast) next week for 2 days to take on the northern-irish chinese golf society with my uncle leading the pack and apparently he's training me as a new 'secret weapon'.
--The restaurant and pub was busy so we went straight into work at 7 but then I was in my golfing attire and golf spikes! Helped out anyway till around 11. Got to earn as much pocket $$$ as possible here cause I might need the funding for a proposed plan to go backpacking in China with Vivian. Wanna use own money, covered in guilt already spending parent's $$$.
--Stupid coffee machine was broken and I wasn't told of it untill an order of 4 bailey's coffee, 1 tia-maria and irish coffee came rolling down at me. Had to do them manually man...damn troublesome.Got it done anyway and while doing so ,chatted abit with Quinn, a regular customer/hot chick who always come by for a take-away every weekend. She's only in 6th year now but she looks damn matured man....no pics Jin! She said she'll see me around soon-if only she knows that I'll be gone soon.Haih...open new doors and close some. Circle of life konon...
--Smsed/texted Morgan and Caroline. She can't go out today :'( have to work in the morning...pity her. Mean while I finished work at 11,uncle sent me home and Morgan rang saying that he and Gore are up in Navan heading out to Knights(a club) Consulted my uncle about joining them (semi-conservative mah...!) and fucking hell! you would never guessed what he said....-'Yea! go on. Go and learn how to hold a gal and experience the night life!' Seriously, I was stunned for a while...my guardian and uncle just said that. Got changed instantly , some perfume and gel did the trick and uncle Ding sent me there PLUS I was wearing my over-sized sneakers so the bouncer kinda stopped me but apparently my uncle's well known in town and after pointing at me from the car, they kinda got the message..
--First time! no big deal! Anyway, Gore , Morgan and Joey were already there waiting in that packed place. Tonnes of people there..flashy lights , artificial mist the place was nice. (Btw,Gore and Morgan were my fellow boarding school buds.) It was like a reunion and apparently those guys had like 5 pints of cider when I got there but it was fun anyway. Had a pint of cider myself and some WKD later. They were abit drunk and Joey had a 'mini-showdown' with some gal dancing to 'Promiscious Girl' by Nelly Furtado-fun to watch what people do under the influence of alcohol. Later out in the beer garden four of us approached some fine-looking chicks and chatted them up. -'I'm Captain Jack Sparrow...!!'
--Head off at around 1 something after we lost and found Gore(baby-face) in the club. learned some things I never knew-I could do easy soduku even when I'm slightly drunk!! Amazing!
That was a fun night out anyway...Today's a different day all together.
