Lovely, clever and even tempered, nothing, except perhaps their short lifespan (3 years average) that makes them less than an ideal pet.  They are happiest when constantly challenged.  Those tubes all over the place style cage are actually perfect.To give your hammie an extra thrill, change it all around while he is soundly asleep.
