To those who still stop by, I’m working on a new blog…it will be here at WordPress,  might take me a bit to get my real life situated so I can blog on a more regular basis, and it will have a different slant, as i have had many lessons learned in the last year.

Peace to you all, and blogroll you soon.

Turning my blogging energy, aka the lazy writer, aka the complaining journaler seeking understanding,  into zine energy.  I have fun putting that little piece of randomness together….it’s actually a relaxing hobby.  When things morph together in the future, I’m sure my blogging will pick up.  But till then, I’m just not really to sure how much I’ll be messing around here on WP.

Namaste,

Holy Sh!t Batman, it’s Wulfgar…..he’s still alive!!!!!

Yes Robin, but I’ve heard he’s turned to a life of indecency by “borrowing” a wireless connection….sad, what reality and survival will do to a grown man.

Is that why we wear tights?

Shut up Robin….

Lets us see what the Gov. thinks I should be……

Go to fullsize imageAnother course done in this states No Worker Left Behind program.  Today focus; Career Interest Profiler.  Let’s take a look at some possible careers shall we?  Yes?  Come take my hand, as I guide your through plain vanilla and pipe dreams.  Just a sample mind you, OK?  Don’t want you to wet your pants…here we go…

Zone 1 (little or no prep)  Ambulance driver.  Child Care Worker.  Dressing Room Attendant.  Escort.  Coffee Shop.

Zone 2 (some prep) EMT.  Animal control. Psychiatric Aid.  Forest Fire Fighter. Ski Patrol.

Zone 3(med prep)  Prosthetists. Animal Trainer. Dental Assistant. Barber

Zone 4 (major prep) Park Naturalists. Podiatrists. Audiologists. RN.

Zone 5 (Extensive prep)  Athletic Trainer. Chiropractor. Chemistry teacher.

Ha..ha…ha…  Now I know these are all based on 180 like/dislike questions….but let us please be realistic.  I am going through NWLBso I can get my hands on 10k  for the next two years to attend school.  Zones 1-2 are probably the only ones applicable.  And right now, I’m so desparate and hungry for work, I’d like to do anything:  Question 160.  Would you like to lay brick or floor tile?  Like, because if it fucking pays money, its a like man, a like!!!!

So, now I should take this report, and a grain of salt, and see what I would like to do…Actually, I really could dig being an ambulance driver, but those fuckers have a tendency to get shot at….I would love to do Child Care Worker, but could I handle the idiot parents?….I would dig Managing a Coffee shop….I actually am thinking of Animal Control…..

Sheeeeiiiitt….I dunno.  Bug something has to come my way….it must.

Time to fix up some rice….I’m now a rice addict.  I love to cook it up and whip up some dishes.  Rice rules and has many uses.  The carbs scare me, but I always through in a dose of protien via tuna, or beef if possible.

Some fiction reading will also be done tonight.  Need a taste of escapism.  Why?  Because this world can be sharp and edgey ya know?

Hopefully more later,

Peace and love.

Yes, another day without the bean….I can see me now, remember those bums on the old TV shows where they would ask for a nickle to buy a cup of coffee.  They were serious!  Could this be me, scraggly and living in a box, jonesing for some java…?

Actually, I feel pretty good today, and so does Willow, which is a nice switch for us.  The Gods have seen to it, that in the worlds best interest, when one of us is in a negative mood, the other is on the positive swing.  This way, we don’t destroy the neighborhood or nearby continents.  We are ying/yang when it comes to emotions.  Today though, it’s all good.

Worked in the yard last night, did some veggie trimming, and still came up with about 15 more ‘matoes.  And after trimming the grape vines back, I did find quite a few bunches.  Cool.

Going to a NWLB program tomorrow, even though that program just made news that it was running low on money.  That’s all I need, to stick with a government program all the way through, and then get told they are broke.  It’s a chance I have to take….

Looking into Wisconsin or North Dakota for job potential.  If needed, a move will be made.

In good local news(I hope), the local movie studio, aka scaled back promises, is going to have its groundbreaking this Thursday.  Why a groundbreaking when all they are doing is refurbishing an old Montgomery Wards site?  But still as long as it goes forward, I guess it’s good.  But I do have it from an inside source that when this local administration is out, and people investigate its going ons, this whole studio thing has many tainted/illegal process throughout it.  It’s just a matter of time before it comes out.  Politics and Hollyweird, nuff said.

Applied for three more jobs today.

Called mortgage company, and after being bounced around from operator to operator, I finally got in touch with someone and they were able to help me with mortgage payment options.  Called auto financier, and they helped us too.  Called bank on some loans, help there….Called VERIZON, and they were arrogant and very, very unhelpful, told us to come up with money tonight or they would disrupt services.  Verizon, I’m saying a few choice words to you, can you hear me now?!?!?  I will never, deal with them again, and when the contract is up, bye bye….

Put out an S.O.S. to family and friends today, and received a nice gift from an old friend, enough to help us pay a bill and get some food.  Man, me and this guy have been through a lot together, and have always helped each others out.  The details you would not believe, from calls from jail, to finances and family problems.  We’ve always been there for each other.  He’s been through it all, and I swear would give you the shirt off his back if he had too.   A true friend, for sure.

Roasted up a large eye round steak that was giving to us back in April.  Veggies, steak, in a crockpot=roast for 5.  Took leftover steak and veggies (very little) and added some egg noodles and watter to it today=stew.

Called a local Food Pantry, and received an appointment on Sept 21st.  This area is hit so hard, and things just seem to be getting worse.  And yes J, I am now considering leaving Michigan, something I thought I’d never do, because I love the nature aspect here, but survival first.

Good lord, I’m going through coffee withdrawal!  I miss the bean!  And I like tea, but tea is not coffee!!!

Life continues, and with family, friends, and faith( still there) we will survive.  Heck, actually through this struggle, I feel that I’m learning and growing stronger as a person, each day.

I’ll keep plugging away on here as much as possible, but according to my calculations, cable is going to be interrupted by this Friday….

Peace and Love,

FYI

Might wrap up some loose ends around cyberspace, as I don’t think I’ll have stable Internet access in the near future.  I could go the arkay route and hit up the library when needed, but since I’m not social, I can’t see myself doing that….

I’m  battling the big D(not detroit) right now anywho, so you know, I’m all doom and gloom……god, I don’t know, it’s all a low self-esteem thing.  It’s funny, everytime I hop onto yahoo, there’s a certain inlaw relative that shows up on my contacts/on-line, letting me know they are available for chat or whatever.  But seconds later, the disappear, which to me, means they don’t want to deal with me….like I said, depression time.

And I’ve been spreading my wings on WordPress, and have met some great fellow bloggers, but man, I didn’t realize how many bookish snobs are out there too.  The world is filled with assholes, always trying to make themselves look better than everyone else…..oh well.

I’m sure I’ll snap out of this, hell probably by afternoon, but right now, well I’m just bitchin’.

If I do slip off the radar, those who need to get in touch with me know how….I’ll probably still access my e-mail somehow.

Peace and good times to you all….

Pumpkin vs. Tomato, I win!

August 21, 2009 1 comment

Had to break out my machete today and whack at the Cthulhu pumpkin patch in my backyard.  Seriously, the backyard is taking on a Lovecraftian theme.  With the grapes being picked off by the birds, and the vines clinging to the black terrace I have over the sidewalk, and the pumpkins going insane and taking over a good 20% of my yard…it’s getting spooky.  I had to cut off a vine that had actually wound its way through my youngest daughters bike, and it had volleyball sized pumpkin underneath it.

A section of my tomato plants got crushed by two or three vines, but man…the rest of my tomatoes kicked ass, and I have two plastic grocery bags full of ripe, ripe, ripe tomatoes….I also salvaged some ears of corn, and a boat load of peppers.  Tonight, for dinner, BLTs and corn on the cob.    Take that you pumpkins!
