Terry Wall was already a Memphis music vet when he formed his band, The Wallbangers, in 1996. He got his start playing lead guitar for fellow Memphian Charlie McClain (“Who’s Cheating Who”, “Sleeping With The Radio On”).
His first recording session was at the now legendary Sun Studio back in the mid 70s.
Terry is sometimes compared to Delbert McClinton, but more often he's simply incomparable, because he's such a uniquely gifted guitarist and vocalist - not to mention a supreme songwriter.
Terry co-produced and co-wrote many of the songs featured on Don Nix's "I Don't Want No Trouble," album, which LocoBop released in the spring of 2008. Fittingly, Don Nix produced Terry's album, ‘Sleep Walkin’ (Released by LocoBop in the summer of 2008), as well as tracks on this album.
Terry Wall & The Wallbangers have opened up for such notable acts as B.B. King, Charlie Daniels, Shelly West, David Frizzell, Black Oak Arkansas, Ted Nugent, Charlie McClain, Bruce Chanell, the Barkays, and many more.
