Yup.. the time has finally come. It’s Zombie Raid time! I am so insanely excited after seeing some of the previews of gifts in the hunt. Thank you so much to all of the designers who have been kicking ass at coming up with amazing gifts in the hunt for everyone! The hunt starts on October 15th and will run through the end of October, but it’s a short and sweet one so plenty of time to head out to all of the other amazing Halloween events going on around the grid too! ( BTW speaking of which …check out horrorfest, seriously, omg it is going to be epic!) Keep in mind that the hunt is open to everyone, you do not need to join Dead Dolls in order to do the hunt, however chat will be opening and hints will be given in Dead Dolls chat if you get stuck along the way. Besides, we’d love to have you in our demented little undead family lol.

ut oh she’s back
Ok, call me full of shit… no, really… go ahead lol. As much as I wanted to leave SL I have realized that it’s not as easy as it would seem. A big thank you to all of my friends who ultimately convinced me that I would miss them way too much to actually say goodbye ❤ So, my RL is still being an utter pain in the ass but I realized that SL is my sanity, the thing that keeps my mind off of all the shit I’d rather put aside for the time being and share a joke with my girls in the kitty crew or find some amazing freebie to share with my zombies.. and so I’m back ( somewhat) and yes! Dead Dolls is once again accepting applications for designers. BUT! There have been a few changes to the rules in the group as well as our designer policies so please be sure that you have the latest application before applying. ( 99.99678% of the time I do not get IMs as I live in a time zone completely opposite to that of Second Life so if you want an application NC me please <3) No, don’t worry.. there will be no Nazi Reich like in some groups lol… that’s just not me 😛 Generally, I try to be very approachable and friendly with my designers as long as I get the same level of respect back that is extended to you as a member of my group.
That said… the Zombie Raid hunt is back on! Yeah, I know… sheesh get it together Zom, right? ha! believe me, I was looking forward to this one as much as you and so I will be making it well worth your time to have waited so long to get your zombie lovin’ on. I have a lot of fun things in the works for both this hunt and other events I have in the works in coming months…so be sure to stay tuned. ( pssst… remember the sugar skulls hunt last year? Who’s up for round 2? 😀 I’ll be sending out applications for that hunt soon so be sure to keep an eye out for those as well as a Christmas event I am working on.. but I’ll tell you more about those later ^ ^) Back to the Zombie Raid, if you are not already on the list but want to get in on the fun fear not! I will not be placing the updated list on the blog until a few days before the hunt so you still have time to get in on the hunt. Be sure to send Zombina a NC in world if you would like to participate. Of course, if you are not already a Dead Dolls designer you will need to join us as the hunt is only open to our designers 😛 However, to be a hunter you do NOT need to be a member of Dead Dolls to clear up some questions. ( I’ve had a few asking me about that and no, I would never force you to join believe me I know how precious those group slots are LOL) That said, I will be opening group chat throughout the hunt for hints and help so if you would like help with the hunt that is where you will be able to find it ^ ^
Easter Hunt @ Belle Morte
Easter has found its way to Belle Morte and to celebrate there are 4 eggs hidden around the store for 1L each. Once you have each of the eggs you have a completely outfit including shoes, skirt, top, and necklace. ( I’ve had so many requests for jewelry with the skull from the sugar skulls hunt so here you go ^.^ ) The eggs will be out form now until April 5th and then the outfit will be gone forever 😀

So all of the Valentines day hunts are now in full swing around the grid. Lots of good things popping up on a few of them, but my personal favorite so far has to the the Tainted Love Hunt. One of my favorite stores, Tacky Star, has the most amazing pack of skins for their gift in this one. As usual I am so very late on getting this post up, but hey… can’t break from my tradition right? *giggle* Have you heard that they Tainted Love Hunt has started? Usually I’m not a fan of being in hunts. Sure, they are good publicity but I feel that with my schedule I just don’t have the time it takes to provide a high quality gift so it would be not only stress to myself but not fair to those who do the hunt. I was so excited when the notice came from Blue Blood that she had set up a Bye Bye 2009 Hunt in the castle going on through the end of the week. Not only could I find a cute outfit in a variety of colors for only 1L each, but I had found another excuse to prolong my procrastination on building hehehe. The outfit is adorable and can be worn as a skirt or suit and is available in a ton of colors.

Zomg Holiday Hunts
I’m baaack and OMG there are so many little holiday hunts to catch up on to keep me busy today lol. Of course, all of the larger hunts are still in full swing ( and the Xmas party for the Down the Chimney Hunt.. complete with dinosaurs xD coming up soon) but still my favorite and most close to my heart are all the little hunts popping up all over the place. It’s Santa zombie time at Love Soul and Nipponbashi ! Head to one of the start locations, grab your cute santa suit (available in male and female versions) and your bashin’ pillow and start taking out zombies for tickets to trade in for super cute prizes at gift vendors located all over both sims. Zombie Santas will randomly drop little christmas trees and a blue dropdown will let you know which ticket you have recieved. This has to be one of the most fun freebie hunts out there hehe.

The Black Canary, home of all things beautiful and goth if you ask me lol, is having a gingerbread man hunt. There are 3 gingerbread men hiding inside the store, each set for sale for only 10L. Believe me, these are such a steal! I love all 3 of the prizes but the jacket is by far one of my favorite scores of this holiday season, so versatile and absolutely beautiful.

Talk about Halloween Hunts! One of my allll time favorite stores, Atomic, is having a pumpkin hunt! Find 12 little pumpkins ( although when I was there pumpkin 10 was not set for sale.. and it has hair so I will be back for that one lol) around the mainstore island for some cute tanks, t shirts, skins, hair, and tattoos. All absolutely wonderful quality and so worth fighting the lag for lol.The hair comes in a fatpack of lots of colors so there is one to match with each shirt ^^

Ok so maybe not that kind of hunt… but OMG there are so many great Halloween Hunts going on right now. Personally, I am so over gridwides its not even funny, so I have been sticking to the smaller hunts and I have to say I am compltely happy with these lol. I think the designers put far more into their hunt prizes when they are for smaller hunts, and well honestly you don’t get those stores that make tons of crap to throw in every gridwide that comes along. (You know you can all think of a store or 2 that is in every single gridwide and yet has mostly garbage to give away, which is sad becuase most of these stores have nice things in their actual store inventory… why spread yourself so thin that you represent yourself with less than your caliber of work… makes no sense lol) 
One of my favorite hunt gifts ( actually 10 of them to be exact) is the dollarbie witch hat hunt at Frick. I started out as a newbie on Frick skins and still love them just as much now that I own several far more high priced skins lol. You absolutely cannot beat the price and originality of these skins. All of the Halloween skins have beautiful eye makeup that would do good for Halloween as well as the rest of fall ^^. (or any time if you’re like me lol)
Another good Halloween event going on is the HoPo (HodgePodge) Halloween event. Not a hunt, but you have to walk around as much as one to find participating stores lol. Lots of store have out cute Halloween dollarbies or freebies like the dress pictured above from Elate.

Halloween Heart Hunt @ Belle Morte
Wow I have been so RL busy this week I can barely believe it is almost Friday already! More posts to come on the super cute Halloween freebies that keep showing up on the grid soon, but for now.. time to talk about my own little (almost) freebie hunt lol. I have decided to set my Halloween tanks on sale for only L$5 until Halloween. However, theres a catch 😛 You have to find them in 4 little orange hearts that I have placed throughout Muertos, home of Belle Morte as well as home to Dead Dolls of SL. ( psst… be sure to look up in the new skymall too :P)
Speaking of skymall Muertos has lots of rentals open since the rebuild ^^ Come check us out 😀 Great prices and great atmosphere. Be sure to keep an eye on the Dead Dolls group for updates on the opening of the new Club Absynthe in the skymall ^^
AppleBoppers Hunt
The Car Wash Appleboppers Event starts tomorrow and Belle Morte witll be participating with my new candy apple dress as the prize. For once, this one isn’t a hunt lol. The cauldrons will be easily visible in the store , but… theres no guarantee that you will get what you want out of them on the first try lol. Sugar Skulls Hunt
Its almost time for the Dead Dolls of Second Life Sugar Skulls hunt! Starting on November 2nd, Dia De Los Muertos, and lasting until the 7th, the Sugar Skulls Hunt will take place at ..::Muertos::.. the home of Dead Dolls of SL. Tons of great designers are already signed up on this one so watch the blog for a list of participants coming soon ^^.

\o/ halloween \o/
This is certainly my favorite time of year in both SL and RL. In SL tis the season for super cute holiday editions of.. well.. everything lol. In RL the wind is starting to get cold and the days are getting shorter. There has always been something comforting in fall for me.. maybe cause Im a November baby, who knows lol. Many of SLs designers are feeling the fall fever as well with tons upon tons of super adorable things coming out everyday for Halloween. ^^
One of my personal go-to stores when I want something cute is KUE! They have so many adorable Gacya machines in their store as well as a daily freebie ( for Halloween \o/ cute stuff!) Their lucky boards are loaded with adorable halloween items with promises of more on the way ^^ Another store doing a daily freebie for the month of October is XOXO and the gifties are just as cute lol certainly worth making a trip to both stores daily.
With Halloween in the air even 50L Fridays is getting more and moreghoulishly cute each week. Tyranny Designs had their super adorable “As the Crow Flies” sweater out this past Friday along with a box of free socks ❤ I’m usually not a sock perso but I love the subtle designs on these… too cute not to wear lol.
Sanu has a candy hunt going on for ( as can be expected from Sanu lol) super cute Halloween items ( a pink and purple set!) I love how much thought goes into her hunts.. they actually seem fun for both the creator and the hunters for once rather than just a giant advertisement lol.
Not only do I love Halloween because well.. it’s Halloween, but also because this is the one time of the year that us undead citizens of SL can find good skin lol. There is certainly no shortage of the zombie skins this year with stores like Nomine, Chai, and tons of others getting into the action, but I have to say that the new Decay skins from Frick ( only 50L each for a pack of 2 skins, decayed and nondecayed versions) are a sure favorite.

Today is Homemade Cookie Day and to celebrate RC Cluster has ingredients for chocolate chip cookies ( 4 total : sugar, flour, eggs, and chocolate chips) hidden throughout the store. Each ingredient has one of their super cute “baking cookie themed items from mixing bowls to tea sets. With all the huge gridwides starting today this was a little fun one to start the day with lol.

Ahh! It’s a Panty Raid O_O
Well I know I’m seriously slacking on getting this one up but I was knee deep in panties to go through from all of the awesome stores in the Starlust Panty Raid. Some great gifts here for sure, all set out for free or for 1L so be sure to get down to this one before it ends on August 30th, 2009.
