They may be cynical, but at least they are not naive!

Gallup says that nearly 8 out of 10 of Americans ages 18-29 do not trust American business leaders. In fact, they don't trust hardly anybody! Three of ten agreed that most people can be trusted.
Junior Achievement, using a model the Rotary Club promotes called the four-way test, puts students through ethical-reasoning exercises that ask whether a course of action is truthful, is fair to all sides, builds goodwill and benefits all concerned.

Pew also researched this trust issue. Here is a graph published in the Washington Post.


Why are millennials less trusting than their elders? One reason is the economic difficulties people are experiencing across age groups.

Obama's plummeting approval ratings

Some days nothing goes right. In fact, some years nothing goes right! What's worse, sometimes the very people you try hardest to please don't appreciate you! Take President Obama, for example. (Please!) During this past year his approval rating has gone down among all groups, but most of all among Hispanics and people with incomes under 24,000 per year. Here is the graph from Gallup, comparing his approval rating of December 2012 to now.
