Build the wall!

That is my son, Greg. He has just written an article for his school newspaper entitled Build the Wall. Read it here.

Another son to be proud of

Free range chickens. Over one thousand of them.

I couldn't figure out how to upload these photos to my blog. So I woke up that kid who loves to browse social media on his phone.

Within a few minutes Greg figured it out and did his best to explain to me how I could do it myself next time. We'll see.

Hold on!

Yesterday my son Greg and his brother joined their two stepbrothers for a quick fishing trip to Steamboat Springs. I will be moving to New Mexico with them this weekend, so blogging may be lighter than usual.

Tonight is son Greg's first Homecoming Dance. He seems happy.

He's not buying it

My twelve-year-old son Greg is not one to submit to servile conformity. Tonight he told me that this week in science class will be devoted to "sex ed." I asked him what he has learned so far in the first two days. "I learned I have a penis," he replied sarcastically. "I tried to sleep, but I couldn't, because they were playing some loud video about teens choosing not to have sex. I just don't care why they don't want to have sex! As soon as it was over they probably went back to their strip joints!"
