    What an incredible experience the Zalando Data Connect 2025 was! We're still buzzing from a day dedicated to bringing the two sides of data, consumers and producers, closer together. Over 25 talks, from 8 different departments across Zalando, all coming together to promote data literacy, generate awareness of data initiatives, and show the impact of the data community at Zalando. Seeing so many enthusiastic faces and hearing positive comments confirms the power of connecting data with its human dimension. Participants were able to get a glimpse into the world of data that spans across the business. Reflecting on the day, and the outcome of time invested to organise the event, Daniela Nigro shared: “How powerful it is when data gets closer to people, turning from abstract into something relatable, with a human dimension! What if what really helps people understand data is simplicity, its human dimension, betting on the power of communities, investing in creating awareness, in relatable use cases, being part of one bigger picture. All playing into improving data literacy in a tangible way!” Huge kudos to organisers Daniela Nigro, Mandy Koplin, and Carlos Cardenas, and the entire team!
