Method: videoAdvertisingOptions.update

  • This endpoint updates the advertising settings for a specific YouTube video using its videoId.

  • The videoId is required as a path parameter in the URL, and onBehalfOfContentOwner can optionally be provided as a query parameter.

  • The request and response bodies both utilize the VideoAdvertisingOption resource.

  • Authorization requires the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtubepartner OAuth scope.

Updates the advertising settings for the specified video.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

The videoId parameter specifies the YouTube video ID of the video for which you are updating advertising settings.

onBehalfOfContentOwner

string

The onBehalfOfContentOwner parameter identifies the content owner that the user is acting on behalf of. This parameter supports users whose accounts are associated with multiple content owners.

The request body contains an instance of VideoAdvertisingOption.

If successful, the response body contains an instance of VideoAdvertisingOption.
