There are actually two questions here. Is cancellation something that Christians do? And is cancellation something that is proper for Christians to do?
The answer to the first question is obviously “yes.” Christians have been consistent cancelers through the years – often to very lamentable and embarrassing effect.
The Puritans, for instance, were fans of cancel culture long before it was cool. The Salem witch trials are one infamous example. Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter” immortalizes this Puritan cancel culture. But long before the Puritans, the Church was regularly scandalized by excommunications and counter-excommunications leading far too often to public executions.
In more recent years, the American evangelical church has engaged in its own version of cancel culture. The following tweet was recently sent to me by a friend:

Lutheranism is straight out of the pits of hell! I will not defend ANY religion that ADDS works to faith alone in Jesus Christ! When I was growing up in a Baptist church, I had always been taught that Martin Luther was a former Roman Catholic priest who realized one day that salvation is through faith and not works. I held that view into my adulthood. I always thought Martin Luther was a good guy because that it what I had been taught.

This is why mask-wearing is so important because masks work—and when we “Freedom-loving bible-believing” Conservative Christians wear masks to protect ourselves from liberalism (a mental illness)—it certainly isn’t child abuse nor tyranny but Freedom and the correct bible-believing thing to do.
Secondly, our fallen and wayward brethren in our great Truth War have protested quarantines throughout this whole ordeal when quarantines are God’s Moral Law. Have they not read: ” You shall not plow with an ox and a donkey together.” Or as our most Greatest LibertAryan (that stands for Freedom-loving /Bible-believing) Bible scholar; the great Calvinist Theonomist (that stands for TRUE GOSPEL-believer) R. J. Rushdoony has written in The Institutes of Biblical Law (that’s how you know it’s the Absolute Biblical Truth): “Every social order institutes its own program of separation or segregation… Segregation, separation, or quarantine, whichever name is used, is inescapable in any society.” And he certainly wasn’t a Kinist or he would’ve been declared a heretic.
From all this, we can conclude that anyone who disagrees with masks and quarantines is an America-hating; Freedom-denying; God-hating; Bible-rejecting; Popish-pagan; man-worshipping Arminian; SOROS-paid; reprobated apostate; Commie-loving liberal BLM-supporting; WOKE effeminate SJW heretic.
