GitHub can’t restore access to an account or organization through Discussions, but you can recover it through official Support — especially since your billing information is still attached. Here’s what you should do: 1️⃣ Contact GitHub Support directly: 2️⃣ Choose Account & Billing → Billing Support. 3️⃣ In your ticket, include:
4️⃣ Support can verify ownership through billing information and restore your access, even if someone removed you from the team or org. No one in the team or repo can resolve this — only GitHub Support has the ability to verify identity and reassign account/billing ownership. Open a support ticket as soon as possible and they’ll guide you through the recovery steps. |
