Representatives from over 18 countries and regions—including Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Mongolia, and Indonesia—were in attendance, underscoring the event’s high level of internationalisation. The strong turnout and vibrant atmosphere reflected how “sports for all” has truly taken root in everyday life, while also highlighting Hong Kong’s immense potential in hosting international sports events. Strong Mega Event Atmosphere Showcasing Hong Kong’s Sports Soft Power Over the past three days, the venue transformed into a large-scale indoor sports carnival, promoting public participation through diverse and innovative activities. The international sporting event “Asian Judo Open (Hong Kong) 2025,” together with more than 50 competitions—including fencing, combat sports, korfball—and interactive experiences such as cycling, balance biking, table tennis, pickleball and darts, attracted families and sports enthusiasts alike. By combining elite competition with public entertainment, the expo offered both spectator excitement and hands-on engagement with emerging sports, strengthening the development of the sports industry chain. The inaugural “Hong Kong Golf Expo” also received overwhelming response, bringing together local and international golf brands. Featuring a putting challenge zone and a golf fashion show, the expo presented the latest developments in the golf industry comprehensively. Successful Pilot Paving the Way for Sportival Asia 2026 This year’s Sportival Asia debuted as a pilot programme, and its strong positive reception has laid a solid foundation for future development. Summarising the event, Mr. Carl Wong, Chairman of Exhibition Group Limited, said: “The success of this year’s expo proves that Hong Kong has the capability and the ideal conditions to cultivate an indoor sports platform for Asia. This year’s experience will be an important cornerstone as we prepare for the full official launch of Sportival Asia in 2026. Looking ahead, we will expand in scale and international reach, connecting the sports communities of the Greater Bay Area and Asia. Our goal is to elevate this platform into the region’s most influential indoor sports event—transforming Hong Kong’s sports culture from a temporary trend into a sustainable urban lifestyle.”

  • "Hong Kong Holiday & Travel Expo 2025 Autumn", the first consumer-oriented travel carnival, concluded successfully today amid a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere! Despite the challenges posed by Super Typhoon Ragasa, which reduced the originally planned four-day event to three, the expo drew an impressive crowd of 220,000 visitors, a 10% increase compared to last year. The venue was abuzz with energy, exhibitors satisfied with the event's outcome as the foot traffic and sales results surpassed expectations. Mr. Carl Wong, Chairman of Exhibition Group Limited stated that : "Despite the event's duration being shortened due to adverse weather conditions, we quickly adapted by offering complimentary admission and extending daily operating hours by two hours. This strategic initiative effectively attracted a larger audience and generated additional business opportunities for our exhibitors. Our team is highly encouraged by the achievement of yet another attendance record." Many exhibitors reported that visitor attendance at the expo remained robust, creating an atmosphere comparable to February's event. Travel Expert Limited noted a remarkable increase in attendance of approximately 10-20% during the first two days compared to the previous event, praised the organizer's effort in hosting diverse range of activities, which successfully attracted visitors from all age groups, generated significant business opportunities. Package Tours (Hong Kong) Limited expressed satisfaction with both foot traffic and sales, highlighting that the extended opening hours during the remaining days of the exhibition effectively enhanced visitor numbers. Timed just before several long holidays, the exhibition attracted a significant number of customers actively inquiring about tour packages. Traditional favorites such as Japan and South Korea remained highly sought after, while interest in relatively niche destinations like the Middle East, Iraq, and Turkmenistan also increased. The Brazil "Samba Carnival" tour, launched by Goldjoy Travel Limited garnered an enthusiastic response, resulting in numerous inquiries, and they successfully sold a South American journey priced at around HK$200,000. Additionally, cruise travel, which has gained popularity in recent years, continued to experience strong demand. Furthermore, the increasingly popular cruise tours continue to generate high demand, with exhibitor reporting that cruise packages departing in March and April are nearly fully booked within the first two days of the exhibition.

  • “In-Home Expo 2025 Autumn” Successfully Concludes Strong Visitor Turnout Over Three Days, Exhibitors Report Excellent Sales Organised by Exhibition Group Limited, the one-stop home exhibition “In-Home Expo 2025 (Autumn)” successfully concluded today. Despite losing one day of the exhibition due to the typhoon, visitor traffic remained strong, with the public seizing the opportunity to purchase their preferred renovation and furniture products. Mr. Carl Wong, Chairman of Exhibition Group Limited, said: “Although the typhoon reduced the exhibition period by one day, we immediately announced extended opening hours for the remaining days. With many new residential developments soon to be occupied, alongside market optimism about further interest rate cuts and an active stock market, consumer demand for renovation and furniture has increased. In addition, the Autumn In-Home Expo and Autumn Travel Expo generated strong synergy. We look forward to continuing to bring Hong Kong citizens more diverse and high-quality home products and services next year, helping everyone create their ideal home.” Ms. Toria Lee, Director of the Richford, said: “Because of the typhoon, we initially thought business would be affected. However, thanks to the organiser’s media promotion of the extended opening hours, visitor numbers turned out to be higher than in previous years, and sales were very satisfactory.” Steven Chong, General Manager of Tinkyo Design Limited remarked: “The overall economic environment this year has not been very strong, but fortunately, the number of orders and turnover we received at this year’s In-Home Expo were not significantly different from previous years.” Building on the “Hong Kong In-Home Expo” held in May, the Autumn edition focused on mid-to-high-end consumer markets, new home move-ins, and home renovation, with its scale reaching a new record. The expo featured eight themed zones with over 580 booths, bringing together numerous premium local and international brands to provide citizens with a one-stop shopping and inspiration platform for home living. This year, a new “Lighting Zone” was introduced, and the “Senior Living Pavilion” was upgraded, showcasing diverse, innovative international designs and elderly-friendly products, which were well-received by visitors. A variety of professional seminars and interactive activities were also held concurrently, attracting participants of all ages and creating a lively atmosphere.

  • Exhibition Group today announced the launch of the “Point2Purchase Consumption Vouchers” Campaign with the total value of vouchers to be redeemed during exhibitions over the next year expected to reach HKD 100 million. In the first phase, the Group will partner with The Club, HKT’s customer loyalty programme, to pilot the Campaign at the “Hong Kong Holiday & Travel Expo 2025 Autumn” and the “In-Home Expo 2025 Autumn” to be held from 25 to 28 September 2025. The initiative adds a new spending channel for members’ day-to-day accumulated points, while boosting exhibition footfall and sales. Initiated by Exhibition Group and building on the success of the post-pandemic “Overseas Visitor Cash Voucher Campaign” (average exhibitor sales +15%, booth footfall +25%), the new concept extends “consumption vouchers” to local residents to energize retail, delivering benefits to exhibitors, platforms, and the public. Across the 10+ themed exhibitions to be held from 2025 to 2026, Exhibition Group has earmarked up to HKD 100 million in vouchers, averaging up to HKD 10 million per exhibition. Starting from 12 September 2025, The Club’s over 4 million members can redeem vouchers for the two exhibitions via The Club app. Members can use the QR code on The Club e-redemption letter to collect physical vouchers at designated counters on-site, and directly offset spending at designated exhibitor booths1. Members can redeem one HKD 50 voucher for 300 Club points, or two vouchers for 580 Club points. The Club is also offering an exclusive early-bird perk: members who successfully redeem voucher QR codes on The Club platform between 12 and 24 September will receive one complimentary admission ticket to the expo2. Mr. Carl Wong, Chairman of the Exhibition Group, stated: “We are launching the ‘Point2Purchase Consumption Vouchers’ Campaign for the first time, piloting the redemption of exhibition vouchers with Club points. This enables platform members to use their points more flexibly for local exhibition spending, driving sales for on-site merchants. At the same time, we will create a more complete ecosystem connecting our two flagship shows in home and travel—In-Home Expo 2025 Autumn and Hong Kong Holiday & Travel Expo 2025 Autumn will generate synergistic, complementary effects.”
