I competed in my 16th and final race of 2016 on Saturday, and the setting was a truly spectacular venue.

Yes, it’s a stadium. Yes, it’s a big one! (It holds 93,000.) And YES, it has hosted the Olympic Games TWICE. It’s the Read the rest of this entry »

It’s always fun to try something new, whether it’s a new recipe, an unfamiliar vegetable, informercial product, or a WTF item like ‘Quinoa Non-Dairy Beverage‘. Actually, that quinoa drink wasn’t the only non-dairy product I’ve tried recently. Here’s two more, plus a cheesy item (literally) that I couldn’t resist. Read the rest of this entry »

A few weeks ago, my friend Margo (who is a blogger and YouTuber) invited me to participate in a charity project, and I jumped at the chance. I got the final product the other day, and it’s super cool. Introducing… F*CK 2016 – A 2017 CALENDAR!

Margo and her friend Joey put this together in response to all the Read the rest of this entry »

The end of the year is fast approaching, and I’m in the home stretch with my 2016 races. My last two are both in December, and the first was on Saturday, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.

This race is called Hike the Halo (benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation), and it’s my Read the rest of this entry »

Finding time to exercise is hard. Talk about an understatement! We’re all busy to begin with, and now we get to add on holiday parties, Christmas shopping, putting up decorations, and all the other fun stuff that comes during this time of year.
Plus, so many people plan on starting anew with their health and weight loss goals in January, so who cares if you slip a little (or a lot) in December? I DO. I want you to be Read the rest of this entry »
