I know a lot of knitting bloggers have WIP Wednesday posts, and now I’m one of them. At the very least it will inspire me to post at least once a week.
Since I frogged my most recent attempt at socks, I needed a smaller travel-size project to take with me on my trip this week. I decided to start the cowl I was planning on making for a charity auction. I cast on Shallows. I have completed one of four pattern repeats. It seems short, and I have a feeling I will want to make it longer. We’ll see if I agree once I’ve done all four repeats.
The yarn is Fleur de Fiber Asbury in the Early Girl Tomato colorway. The color is a bit different than in the picture. It’s more of a pinkish red than you see here. That’s what I get for taking a picture with my phone very late at night (or very early in the morning, whichever you prefer) under a lamp.
I will probably hold off on working on this project until I travel again next week.
