holy hoppin blogstats, Batman!
Something kinda weird happened yesterday with this blog, dear readers. it would seem that I was featured on WordPress’ fastest growing blogs list and as apparently as a result, my blog GREW! Grew as in I had nearly 550 visitors yesterday! Today, it’s 7am and I’ve already surpassed my typical 100 visitors, so I’m thinking today is gnna be another one of those busy days too.
What sucks is that I haven’t had anything actually kinky to post LOL
Someone did ask in a comment if something had really happened (3-some w/my sister). Now, I know that person had the password, so I know that person read the posting. So I’m not sure why he’d think it didn’t happen, but for the rest of the new visitors to my blog, let me assure you that I post real life stuff – If I’ve made something up (like my x-rated story), it’s made plain that I did make it up (and even then, most of that story has happened, just not with the same person).

Ok, now I am a big fan of Big Love, an HBO series about a family of polygamists in Utah. Big stretch, I know. But it’s a good show, and it’s an interesting and quite unique concept, at least to me. In the show, the main character has 3 wives of varying ages (all above 18), and 6 or 7 kids. Maybe busy, but doable… at least in my eyes.
But reading the news today, I nearly choked on my tea upon reading about a polygamist who was caught in a traffic stop. The man is accused of having nearly 40 wives!!!!
People, this is just a little too mind boggling for me. I can’t imagine having to share my man with ANYONE, let alone 39 other women! Imagine, if you possibly can (and i can see my male readers wincing), the cat fights… “I picked up his socks last night – It’s YOUR TURN!!!” or “my GOD, man, can’t you put the seat down at least ONCE!?!?!?!?! x 39. LOL
When I read that gyst of this story to my son (40 wives, 60 children), my 9 year old says “wow… that’s alot of kissing”.

This week has pretty much sucked. Not between *us* – but we have another of those stupid-ass apartment inspections that takes up my focus and makes me obsessed. They don’t even visit every apartment. But JUST IN CASE, you have all these other apartments vying for space in the dumpsters – which were full yesterday – and don’t get dumped till tomorrow – and at the same time dealing with kids, cooking, oh and visiting parents LOL
Hasn’t been conducive to feeling particularly pervy. I did tryyyy yesterday – sending hubby the following lines in emails …

Him- “how so?”
Me- First, I’m going to unbutton your buttons on your shirt and pull it out from your pants, running my nails around your waist.
Him – (never responded)

And then I got distracted with the house again and never continued. dammit.
Of course, he did just start this new job and couldn’t respond because he doesn’t know who is watching what, so that helped kill the idea lol

You may recall (or not) that last year, hubby & I went through some stuff, and on the other side of it was this new guy that I really REALLY liked. Over the year, he’s mostly stuck around, though stress tends to make him fold up into himself.
Last month, I asked him if he knew what August 12th was. He was clueless. I explained to him… he seemed to take it in stride. I emphasized… August 12th is more important to me than our anniversary, that’s the day I really got the man I wanted. I explained, yet again, how I hate that I have a different last name than my kids… that a 3rd is gonna be born w/a different name than me. It makes me nuts.
I explained I (again) wanted something….SOMETHING from him. If we’re not gonna get officially married, I wanted a commitment ceremony from him at least. Hell, we’ve been together 11 years; we’re already considered common-law married … I’ll just go get my name changed by the court, if he’d just give me that ONE THING. Ok, two things… I wanted some sort of ring, and the commitment ceremony. No one had to be there but us & our kids. Nothing big. Just for me. Still, apathy.
