The Ultimate Illustrated Nutrition Book for Beginners
Paperback, 108 pages
This is a book that’s packed with lots of important information about eating healthy. The author takes the bulk of nutrition information and organizes it into retainable sections. While the doodles are very simple, they have a lot of character! And importance, as they are a clever way to aid learning. Equal parts text and doodle prompts, I found this book to be a fun source of information for adults and high school students. I highly recommend.
{My only comment I feel compelled to mention would be about artificial sweeteners. My opinion is that anything artificial (sweeteners, colors, preservatives) is bad regardless of the amount. Don’t buy foods with it in, and then they will stop making it}

Ankle Sleeve – Neoprene sleeve provides snug fit, providing effective support.
Tested size M. Good for moderate support and stability. This is basically for some warmth and compression. Go with another ankle brace if a higher degree of stability is needed.
PF Sleeve -The PF Sleeve is an open toe sleeve designed to alleviate conditions of Plantar Fasciitis. Includes specialized compression zones for arch and heel support.
I reviewed a size M on my right ankle over a sock during activity (not during pickleball play). I do not have plantar fasciitis but enjoyed this sleeve for the support it gives. It’s comfortably tight and it doesn’t cut off circulation.
Spiky Ball – Firm massage ball provides deep tissue massage for the foot.
A 3″ red ball with spiky outside. Good for circulation. I also find it a good de-stressor. It can also be used elsewhere such as calves. Made of hard plastic, not squishy.

Starting with a beehive, this Ohio based company offers natural products using honey and beeswax that are good for us and the world we live.
Lip Balm Tin – Custom pick five lip balms. The nine Beessentail scents are: Cinnamon and Clove, Peppermint, Honey, Lemon Lavender, Orange Ginger, Rose Mint, Coconut Lime, Vanilla Bean, and unscented. The lip balms are also sold individually or in same scent packs of two or three.

Starting with the Honey balm, I give it a great review for hydration. I’m deciding on my favorite scent and will update.

Have you considered ginseng?
I can’t say that I knew much about this root and my curiosity led me to Baumann. They have been growing ginseng since 1978 and they are the largest producer of American ginseng grown in the United States. Their website contains bunches of information about ginseng; it’s benefits, it’s production, and recipes.
Claims are that ginseng helps with immune support, cold recovery, and increased energy and memory. This plant (called a man root because of its person like shape) is labeled an adoptogen which I understand to mean that it helps the body with stress. Any we all know the role that stress plays with diseases and ailments.
Baumann Wisconsin Ginseng is available on their site and also on Amazon. To be sure you get the real thing, they have what is called RootWise. It is a QR code on Baumann products so you know that they are authentic.
Baumann Ginseng Capsule Supplement Directions: Take 2 capsules with water twice a day.
Each capsule contains 100% pure American Ginseng. Capsules contain gelatin, purifled water, and glycerin.
I’ve taken for a week now without any stomach upset or any other side effects. There are two of us trying this. I will update.
