Think twice.(Windows 10 “fall” update).

Finally, I caved in and did the BIG update Windows 10 has been prompting me to do for days but I know from past experience it’s a pain in the ASS but I did it, I bowed to the pressure and guess what?  Totally F**KED UP MY WHOLE COMPUTER!!!! I cannot even start to tell you what went wrong but a simple google and it looks like I’m not the only one to have suffered this royal B*tt F**kery.

However, do not panic because obviously not everyone has or will suffer a negative effect and the vast majority will come through and out the other end unscathed.  I just wanted to let people know that although Windows do it for you automatically, before any updates just to make sure you have a “System Restore” date set.  So if you like me end up in Windows 10 HELL then, fortunately, keeping your fingers and toes crossed helps but the biggest help is having a system restore.

PS It also took 3 whole hours to do the update, 3 hours! I finished my book, done the dishes, watched a film, had a shower and still had time for a cup of coffee and a natter!

I popped over to a shop called Asteroidbox because I know they have a mini hunt going on and as always out of the 12 items I found just 4 of them but I do get 10 out of 10 for effort.  Don’t worry though because what I’m showing you-you don’t have to hunt for you just have to join the Free group.

Yup this is the where I got the title of this post from.

And this, yes yet another build.  I thought this was just a backdrop for photos and not a small 4 walled room it turned out to be.

There is something “schoolroomish” about this room.  So a simple 13 primmed build.  Sadly that light doesn’t light up but it took 2 seconds to unlink it and then you can put your own light in and I think that will change the whole feel of the room.

This is an interesting shop and although I did find some of the Hunt prizes I can see that they’re that chunky Kawaii Mary Jane style platform, some very interesting earrings and a headband which looks interesting but it was whats for sale in the shop that I was more interested in.  The style of clothing isn’t me but outside is furniture and gacha’s which have peaked my interest.  So there are more Group Gifts, other Hunt items and some interesting clothes and decor for you to check out.

I’ve finally SNAPPED! (Freebies).

I had gone over to the SWANK event and looked and looked and looked some more wondering where the goodies were hidden but it was only when I returned at a later date for another try did I realise that you have to TP to a really lovely decorated Wintery are and under the tree are the gifts.  This TP is actually at the LM for SWANK, it’s on the floor just behind you.

Lots of clothes n stuff for sale but I paid more attention to the landscaping/decor items which are placed in the middle of the shop.  Personally, I’m done with landscaping, I don’t think our sim can hold any more snow, tree’s shrubs etc but I would have been tempted by some of what’s here if that wasn’t the case.

This coat/hat/glove set is one of the prizes and the lovely wintery setting at SWANK was going to be a perfect backdrop to show it off so I TPed back to the event and snapped, snapped, snapped some more till I finally SNAPPED! It’s a lovely setting but with all the flashing lights it was a nightmare to get a decent picture so I TPed back home and got the snap this outfit deserves. It also comes in so many sizes and the fuzz on the cuffs and hat doesn’t have to be worn if you want a simpler look.

BUT, once you’ve grabbed the gifts under the tree don’t rush home to unpack because you may notice that around this landscaped area are other scattered gifts.  I’ve only unpacked 2 items, this coat and I’m actually wearing earrings which are teeny tiny sparkling trees so cute!!!!

Time for a break.(Freebie).

Doh, not only did I forget to prim check I didn’t even pick up a copy of this simple but quality gift from Apple Fall!  You know Apple Fall is known not only for its stunning designs but also more than reasonable prims so I think a build like this will be very low primmed.

This is the New York Apartment which is easy to understand when you look out of the window.  To get this you have to use the TP just outside of the mainshop doorway and TP to the demo and you will see the large price tag on the wall but it’s been set to ZERO Lindens.

There is also a Golden Apple Hunt going on at Apple Fall, you have to get the Hud, just at the LM, and wear it as you search for the apples.  When you have the full set you can score a super prize….I’m guessing that last bit as I still only have 5 of them so far but it’s time to return to RL.

I♥Puking Rainbows.(Freebies).

This is a reblog but a worthy reblog.  I was rezzing decor in my house when I came across the folder containing the rose curtains I bought from a shop called “Puke Rainbows” and as always I had to TP over to check it out as I remembered that this shop had/has gifts out.

Everyone will know these designs as they’re beloved by shops and events for creating stunning decor and so blinking low primmed!  The “curtain” version which is about 4/5 strands of hanging roses is only 1 prim, the scattered roses on the floor again only 1 prim, the shelves on the wall only 1 prim each, the scattered petals….I’ll let you guess the prims for that.  Because of the low prims you can rezz away like mad and in the picture I’ve done just that plus I’ve used the ones which come with scripts but you can’t really see it but there is twinkling going on.

TBH Purple is one of my least fav colours but since the pricing in this shop is more than reasonably I’ve actually already got these items but in a shade, I do like.  Make sure to check the whole shop out as behind the main entrance is some Lucky Chairs, I won the balloons!

1x10Lds Overwhelmed!(Ooodles and Ooodles of Gifts).

I TPed from the Roiro shop to check out their Christmas tree which you can only buy at The Chapter Four event so I TPed over and for a measly 10Lds joining fee you get “Ooodles” of gifts at this event.

Virtually every stall has a gift on it but I ended up with rezzing exhaustion and so out of all of the gifts I unpacked I’m just showing you the 1 item because I thought it makes for a very interesting Christmas card lol.

As always lots of this n that and all excellent quality.

2×10=(Bargains&Freebie).

Gooooooood Morning and to make it even nicer here is a quickie to start the day off.

I was in the Rioro inworld shop and spotted on the counter a very nice freebie of a picture frame decorated with the same sort of flowers you can see in the picture(I didn’t get it) but I did check their Marketplace shop and spotted these 2 items. Each one cost only 10Ld and each is only 1 prim.  So delicate and pretty, I put the heart one on the wall but it’s best laid on the ground as it has delicate little stems to make it look as though they have grown that way.  Only a single prim each as well for such delicate details.

I will be popping back to the Roiro shop this morning to buy, yes actually spend some Lindens, more plants.  They’re on the MP but I’ve also seen them in the shop, such amazing plants with so much realism I want to water them and only 75Lds and 2 prims! Even a meanie like me thinks they’re worth it and so much more.

PS. If you still need a Christmas tree check the one out in the Roiro shop it’s stunning but I couldn’t make my mind up which one I wanted so, in the end, I didn’t get it!
