Well, they’ve done it again. The Roman Catholic Church, playing the role of compromiser with false science, has yet again managed to get itself on the wrong side of a scientific argument. This time they have managed to do it before the scientific discovery in question has even been made! In doing so, they are inadvertently delivering the one billion Catholics worldwide right into the hands of the devil. Perhaps the Pontiff of the world’s largest Christian church is inevitably destined to play the role of the infamous “second beast” in the forthcoming “end-times.”

ABOMINATION
Awww…According to our Attorney General, Eric Holder, the one thing that keeps him awake at night is the alarming rise in the number of Americans who are more than willing to attack, kill and otherwise do malicious damage to their fellow citizens. Sadly, our esteemed Attorney General is more likely to be spending his restless nights worrying over conservative Christian Tea Party grandmothers rather than those people with a proven record of treacherous and damnable behavior. Take, for instance, modern America’s current socially privileged group: homosexuals. Democrats with the cooperation of a few spineless Republicans, have decided to invite this minority out in the open to celebrate, as acceptable and normal, a lifestyle that is anything but normal. By repealing the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” (DADT) policy they have taken the first, dangerous step in unleashing this “lifestyle” upon us. Unfortunately, a quick look into homosexuality’s history reveals homosexuals to be exactly the sort of people willing to attack, kill and otherwise do malicious damage to their fellow citizens.
CONSTANTINOPLE FALLS…AGAIN
The whole world is aware of the controversy surrounding the proposal to build a Muslim mosque on the Ground Zero site that sustained the attack of September 11, 2001. Suddenly people who despise the idea of religion in public life and who become squeamish at the thought of public prayer are becoming misty eyed in their support for the religious freedom of the Muslims whose motives for building this mosque are rightly being questioned. Strangely, the clash of three civilizations is repeating itself at the site of Islam’s expansionist rebirth. Surely you recognize the conflict of Islam and Western Christianity as it boils over into the streets of New York. But what of Eastern Christianity? It too has a role in this controversy just as surely as it was at the center of the storm that resulted in the Medieval Crusades, and once again we see how little man has “evolved” in the 915 years since the Western Christian powers came to the aid of the Christian East. It looks disturbingly as much like 1095 as it does 2010.
BURN!
As always everyone gets it wrong. Where Islam is concerned it seems everybody feels compelled to bend over as far as they can to accommodate this religion and the children that follow it. Witness the outcry over a small church that had the bright idea to burn a few Qu’rans. The Dove World Outreach Center in Gainesville, Florida, says it will burn copies of the Qu’ran on this weekend’s ninth anniversary of the September 11 attacks in protest at what it calls “the evil of Islam.” This small congregation’s pastor, Terry Jones, has insisted the burning will go ahead as planned in spite of the enormous amount of protest that this little demonstration in free speech has generated.
SHE WANTED IT
It was the first Manowar record I ever bought: Into Glory Ride. It began with the sounds of a couple entwined in sexual copulation only to be discovered by the sixteen year old girl’s none-too-happy parents. The boy tapping into the forbidden fruit gave the long established yet uncomfortable excuse that, unfortunately for many parents, happens to be true…she wanted it. Alas, this same excuse, though useless when dealing with an aggrieved father and his 12 gauge shotgun, works wonders as a defense in rape prosecutions throughout that part of the world that operates under Muslim law. In fact, once it is ascertained that the victim of a rape “consented” to the sexual act she can then be prosecuted herself, for that too is against sharia law. If you are a male unable to restrain your sexual appetite, then perhaps you should consider making Islam your religion of choice.
WHEN TOLERANCE KILLS
Political correctness is in the air, and fear of the truth is everywhere. In the aftermath of the recent attack on soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, President Obama went out of his way not to use the word “terrorism” to describe the massacre. And for good reason, the fantasy that there is no “war on terror” is one of the quintessential cogs in the left’s governing apparatus. Without which, all the other gears in their machine will not turn. It shall be interesting to watch the president and his administration scramble to blame the military and the operations in Afghanistan and Iraq for this incident. They will blame everyone…except those responsible.
WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG WITH THIS?
While we celebrate breast cancer awareness week here in America, it’s good to know our Islamic friends, likewise, are concerned about the safety of their women’s breasts…sort of:
HOMOSEXUALS AND HUGUENOTS
Well, it has happened again. In spite of the fact that the overwhelming majority of citizens throughout the country disapprove of the legalization of homosexual marriage, those who know better have forced it upon us by judicial fiat. This time it was in Iowa, the veritable heart of America, where homosexuals were rescued from the oppression of unsanctioned marriages. Couple this with the Obama administration’s desire to declare homosexuals to be a superior and protected class of citizens through new and expanded hate crimes legislation, and you have the makings of a disaster the likes of which we have seen before. Yes, we have seen this before. You see, our homosexual friends are guilty of behaving like…Christians! I bet you weren’t expecting that, huh? Read on that you may understand that being “right” always comes with a price…

“AXIS OF EVIL” ESSAY II: “COME DRINK THE WRATH”
The phrase “once saved, always saved” is at the heart of one of Christianity’s oldest and deepest running controversies. It is the belief that a person’s salvation is a permanent condition. Many Christians, including Catholics, commonly deny this doctrine. Several Protestants, including Southern Baptists, embrace this belief. Still others fall in between holding to the argument that if one’s salvation experience was indeed genuine, then that genuineness will be manifested in a secure salvation. In other words, if you backslide you were never truly repentant in the first place. Though I myself am a Southern Baptist, I have challenged this doctrine on the new Babylon Mystery Orchestra CD in a very big way. I have suggested that the infamous “mark of the beast” can, and will, be forced on people against their will. That especially includes Christians. I don’t make this assertion carelessly.
EYE OF THE NEEDLE
Everyone should live on the edge once in awhile. I have been trying to make up my mind which song to put up on the internet from the new Babylon Mystery Orchestra CD “The Great Apostasy: A Conspiracy Of Satanic Christianity.”
It has really come down to a choice between two songs. Either the very heavy and very mean song, “King Of The Earth,” in which our favourite rebel angel lays claim to the entire institution we call Christianity; or “Eye Of The Needle,” an acoustimetal song about some very real people whose names were not changed to preserve their guilt. Since I have chosen to call this essay by the title of “Eye Of The Needle” you know which song is going up. Unlike most artists, I actually like for everyone to know something about where my songs come from. So lets look at these people who are the subjects (combatants?) of this song.
