Fix issues with LTE activation

If you have purchased a device in the past and had an inactive eSIM profile which was never deleted, you may experience problems with your current LTE activation. To fix this:

  1. Fully charge and power on your Google Pixel Watch.
  2. On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe down, then tap Settings .
  3. Tap Connectivity and then Mobile and then SIM status.
  4. If there is an existing eSIM profile, reset the eSIM:
    1. Go to Settings and then Connectivity and then Mobile.
    2. Go to Advanced and then Reset eSIM.
    • Tip: Some operators may require that you call to reactivate the eSIM.
  5. If you have recently set up a device with LTE and can't connect to the network, try restarting your device:
    1. Press and hold the crown.
    2. Select Restart.
    3. Check if your device will connect to the LTE network.

If you have enabled a mobile plan on your Pixel Watch LTE but can't connect to the mobile network when your watch is not paired with your phone, try restarting your Pixel Watch:

  1. On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe down, then tap Settings .
  2. Tap System and then Restart.

Pixel Watch 2 LTE international roaming support

The Pixel Watch 2 supports roaming within each region of the EU, UK and APAC or North America, but not between these two regions. However, please check with your operator to see if your plan supports LTE international roaming before taking it abroad.

  1. On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe down, then tap Settings .
  2. Tap Connectivity and then Mobile.
  3. Turn on data roaming.

For international roaming to work on your Pixel Watch 2, your operator must support VoLTE and roaming for your watch. Not all operators support international roaming on the Pixel Watch 2 and coverage in other countries is determined by your operator.

1 Emergency SOS is dependent upon network connectivity and other factors, and may not be reliable for emergency communications or available in all countries or languages. The Wi-Fi version of Google Pixel Watch relies on your phone to call emergency services. This feature requires your phone to be nearby and connected through Bluetooth. Your watch can't be used to speak with emergency services without the Bluetooth connection to your phone. Your Google Pixel Watch LTE doesn't need a phone to call emergency services. However, it needs an active LTE connection on your watch to call emergency services. Go to g.co/pixelwatch/personalsafety for more details.
