Important: If you already use Google Fi Wireless, you do not need to redeem this offer. Your plan already includes data, text and calls for your wearables. To learn how to use this benefit, please refer to Use your Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy watches with Google Fi.
You get two years of data for your Pixel Watch 4 (LTE). This helps you send messages, use maps and listen to music.
Check eligibility
If you buy a Google Pixel Watch 4 LTE in the US¹ (except Alaska and US Territories) at Best Buy or Google Store (online or in-store) on or after 20 August 2025, you're eligible to get two years of data and text.
What's included
- Two years of data and text from Google Fi Wireless
High speed
- You can get up to 500 MB of high-speed data each month for your watch when you're out of your phone's Bluetooth range.
- After reaching the data limit, the speed will slow to 256 Kbps. The plan caps data usage at 1 GB each month.
- Tip: The plan doesn't support roaming.
- To know if your area has service, review our coverage map.
Texting
- Texting syncs your watch and phone together using the Google Messages app over the Internet. This lets your watch send and receive texts using your current phone number and phone's operator.
- You need texting service from your phone's primary operator to send and receive texts on your watch. Make sure that your phone is on and connected to the Internet.
- When your watch is outside your paired phone's Bluetooth range, you can't make or receive calls.
Activate service
You can activate your watch data during device setup or later in the Pixel Watch app.
To activate data after watch setup:
- On your Pixel Watch app
, tap Connectivity
Mobile network
Activate Google Fi data
.
You must activate your service within 60 days of setting up your watch to receive the full two years of service. The two years of service starts from the activation date.
After two years, your watch will need its own data plan from an operator, like Google Fi Wireless, for continued full connectivity. All Google Fi Wireless plans already include this at no charge.
Transfer your service
This benefit is linked to the specific eligible watch that you bought and its unique activation link. So do not use it with a different device.
However, you can transfer the benefit to another person (for example, give the watch as a gift) by following the activation steps in the Pixel Watch app.
Fix issues
Make sure that you've completed these steps:
- Pair your Pixel Watch 4 LTE with your phone.

, tap Connectivity
Mobile network
Activate Google Fi data
.
- On your Pixel Watch app
Important: You can't have two operators on the watch at the same time.
Yes, your watch must be within your phone's Bluetooth range. When they are separated, you can't make calls on your watch. To start, connect and set up your Google Pixel Watch with your phone.
Important:
- You need texting service from your phone's primary operator for this to work.
- You can't have two operators active on the watch at the same time.
- Your watch doesn't have its own number. Your texts use the phone number on your phone from your main operator.
- Your phone must be on and connected to the Internet.
- You do not need to have the phone and watch right next to each other or connected by Bluetooth.
Texting syncs your watch and phone together using the Google Messages app over the Internet. This lets your watch send and receive text messages from your phone using your current phone number and your phone's operator.
Your new watch should let you reactivate your service in the same way as before. If you can't activate, contact Pixel Watch support. You'll need:
- A valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt from the Google Store or Best Buy.
- Your device IMEI. Learn how to find your Pixel Watch IMEI.
