I was just reminded by a picture of a scheme I had been working for years.

My niece likes to organize things like marbles beans coins, etc. so I, at a thrift one day, I got an idea when I saw a bag of old mixed buttons. I think she’s pushing 14 or abouts, so I guess my plan ran out of time but. what I did, or was gonna do, lol.

I spent years searching and hoarding old buttons from thrifts, salvages, goodwills. St. Vinncents Home rehabs etc, flea markets. anytime I saw old buttons I’d buy’em up. Then my plan was to pack them in old jars and bury /smash thm into the ground and take a walk and “accidentally” discover them, then she could dig them all up like treasure.

But now… I just got a bunch of old buttons.
