Happy Birthday Irish!

He’s 42 today!  I was hoping we could maybe go out for the day, not often he has a Sunday off. But, he opted for a football match with his brothers instead.

  Anyway, shortly after he left the house, Spud said he wanted the toilet, Gasp!! Toilet-training hasn’t been working out recently, so it was ‘on hold’ till the Summer holidays. So, without any fuss, we strolled into the bathroom where he promptly did a pee (seated) on the loo!

DADDY WILL BE SO THRILLED!

He asked for a green cake made of cheese, so that’s just what we made, a green cheesecake!

TONIGHTS MATCH

  With his deadly finish and elegance in the box, I think Thierry Henry is one of the game’s finest strikers. I’m not a keen football fan, I just enjoy watching him play. But tonight, Italy’s skipper will be standing in his way. Cannavaro I think, will give Henry a run for his money. France have outstanding individuals, but Italy  the better all-round team and if fatigue catches up with the French big hitters, Lippi could be celebrating a narrow win. I’ll watch it with my husband and a bottle of wine…

I’m not sure why I don’t like this Frenchman. He’s not the best goalkeeper I’ve seen. Just as well all the action was at the other end of the pitch tonight.
