Got a quick little look for you guys with a couple of new and recent items. This amazing fringe jacket is from Coco at April’s round of FaMESHed, there’s just a few days left to grab it there!

I’m also wearing a new hair from Entwined that is out now at Shiny Shabby. I love it’s casual wave, that creates an understated, sexy look.

I finished it all off with LaGyo’s necklace that’s out at C88’s Pretty in Punk round, and some recent release aviator glasses from Redgrave.

Miss C Promo 2

It’s been a long time coming but I’m excited to finally announce the launch of a new fashion brand that I’ve been collaborating on with Dave Freeman of JD. I did make an announcement on Flickr a couple of days ago, but with everything finalised I decided to make it more formal with a post!

This is something that we’ve been working on in our spare time for several months and even with bumps and RL getting in the way, we’ve managed to pull it together. We’re holding a blogger preview for members of the SL Blogger Support group in world, that will be from 9am SLT today, for 24 hours. The official opening is 10am SLT on Friday 3rd April. We’re also having an open invite launch party on Friday at 6pm SLT, so feel free to join us!

I’m sure you’ll hear more from me tomorrow, when we officially open, and I hope to see you all there!

I have a street style LOTD for you guys today, with some of my favourite new things. You must have heard of the Shiny Shabby event, which opens today at 12pm SLT. It’s brought to you by Neva Crystall and if you’ve ever loved the “lived in contemporary” style of her pictures, you will love this event.

The hair I’m wearing is new from Entwined and will be available at Shiny Shabby. Love the messy bunches style, it gives a relaxed, cute feel to any look, without making you look like a 12 year old. Since it’s still February and a bit chilly in most places, I added a flat cap from Deadwool, which finished off the outfit perfectly.

The top and oversized cardi I’m wearing is from ::K:: and is another item out at Shiny Shabby. It’s fitted mesh so comes in one size, but with both male and female shapes available. You can also choose whether to just wear the cardi by istelf, or with the inner top like I have here. I love natural coloured knits during winter, they’re so versatile and comfy.

Finally I’m wearing these new shoes from JD which will be out in a few days at Uber. I know it’s a bit early to blog them but I adore them so much, I haven’t taken them off in days and well, they were just too perfect for this outfit! I’m wearing the SLink feet version so that I could wear some applier socks and stop my toes getting frostbite.

Sooo much new stuff in this picture and so little time to write about it all!

First of all I’m wearing the Freja shorts from Pixicat, that were recently released for We ❤ RP. Of course, they're not just fit for RP purposes, but all sorts of wear! They also come with the option of embroidered flowers on the front, that you can turn on and off with the HUD. I adore the high waist and vintage style cut, he frill adds that little bit more of a feminine touch too.

I added the new roundneck top from Coco that's out at FaMESHed. What's great about this time is that it comes with cuffs and a collar as separate attachments. That means there's a ton of ways to wear it. I've been wearing it with just cuffs around the grid, but decided to keep it simple and plain for this shot. I layered it with the Bejewelled Cardigan from Fishy Strawberry also out at FaMESHed.

The hair is a classic updo, which I only found out about because Miss Foxtrot Plurked pictures of herself in it about 100 times. Luckily she did though coz I'm in love! You can pick this up by Catwa at the Fashion Fair.

There's a few new furniture pieces in this shot too. The piano and chair are both from Apple Fall's amazing gacha at The Chapter Four. The mirror which was the inspiration for this picture, is by Theosophy who are guests at Collabor88 this month. The romantic style curtains are also at C88, by Half Deer. And the last bit of new are the stacked tables from Cheeky Pea.

I’ve got a bit of a fancy LOTD for you guys today, featuring this fab new dress from Pixicat, out at 3pm SLT this afternoon at The Secret Affair! Thea feathery skirt part comes in both black and white, with a bunch of colour options for the top. I debated doing something softer with the white feathers and nude or peach up top, but in the end I decided that black was just more me. I’m boring like that.

Anyway I styled it up by adding this gorgeous pearl collar from The Forge, which is still available to purchase at this month’s Uber round. It’s a really great piece to glam up an LBD like this and give you a unique, stand out look. I added the bowler hat from Deadwool which I loooooove and I’m sure will feature in more pics in the future, as well as the sassy Sangria heels from Reign, out now at FaMESHed.

The hair is a unisex freebie from Tableau Vivant, and the bag is an older, but still fabulous, item from LaGyo. Overall I was really happy with how this look turned out, and I hope you like it too!

The Arcade Photography Contest - Coral Lacey

This’ll be my last post of 2014 so I thought I’d make it a festive one! I’ve used a bunch of items from December’s Arcade round, as well as Christmassy goodies out at TLC. There’s far too much newness for me to talk about, and all of it is pretty amaze but noteworthy mentionables definitely include this beautiful tree from Anc Ltd at TLC’s The Garden, as well as the fun Pixicat onesies available still at The Arcade. Snow Day

C88 opened it’s doors today to a fabulously cosy round for December. I’m wearing the new, oversized cape from Pixicat that you can pick up there, along with it’s fur hood. This matched perfectly with the Snowdrift hair from Tableau Vivant, which has got to be one of this months must have hair purchases. It’s a great style to wear cosied up with a sweater and jeans, or dressed up for a party night. Either way you’ll get plenty of use out of it!

LaGyo released two gorgeous collections for C88 as well, this adorable bow headband and the faux fur clutch are part of them. There are a ton of other great little accessories too, all to help you get in that festive spirit!

I’m also wearing the new skinny, ripped jeans from Emery and the Navajaro fringe boots from JD, both of which are winter staples that you can grab at this month’s round of FaMESHed.

She rules her life like a fine skylark

Quick LOTD for you guys with lots of new items and a bunch that were released last week at C88. I’ve only just gotten round to shop there but I really love the Modern Alchemist theme that’s going on.

Little Bones are participating as a guest and this is one of THREE hairs that you can find from them there. Big curls and a hat included, it was love at first sight for me. The cardigan from Emery is a great staple item for my inventory, honestly I can never resist a cardi. Any designer that makes one, is pretty much guaranteed to get Ls from me. This one was easy to pair with the laced up pants from Ison.

Also from this witchy round of C88 are the necklace and clutch from LaGyo. As usual LaGyo have released a complete set that is perfectly themed for the event and these are just a couple of the unique, inspired pieces you can pick up. The bookcases in the background can be found there too, made by Lark they come with and without decor.

The top under my cardi is the metal top from Pixicat, released today at the main store in a selection of colours there are also a blue and green coloured version available for FLF, today only! Don’t miss out on that bargain and make sure you visit to pick it up.

Finally I added the Roche fringed boots from Baiastice that are out at November’s round of FaMESHed. I was ecstatic when I saw these, I do love me some fringe in fall! They’re super easy to dress up and down too.

Somewhere only we know

The days are definitely getting shorter and colder now, but it seems like I’m still not done with my fall themed pictures.

Today is C88 eve and if you’re impatient to shop, then let me remind you that We ❤ RP opened it's doors on the 4th to a new round and there's lots of great items that can easily lend themselves to mainstream fashion.

The hair I'm wearing is from the new store Entwined, of which I'm definitely a fan. It's a real long style and it's slickness is perfect. Sometimes with hair that's as sleek as this it can look either too big or too flat, Entwined hits that spot just right.

How darling is this cropped maiden top from Pixicat? There are a bunch of colours to choose from, but I settled on something more neutral. I was actually wearing this bare foot with jeans, and it was a great little look. Really cute item that you can wear in fall and then again in spring and summer. Definitely worth a buy!

I added the Hamsa necklace from LaGyo at FaMESHed as well as one from Gizza that came with their recent hippie style set.

Another new item in this pic are the leaves and bokeh in the background. These are new from Bauhaus Movement and are a great item if you're a little bit Photoshop shy. They come with poses included but you can also rez them and they're just perfect for decor and photos. You can find them at the Xiasumi School Festival.

I'll love you for a thousand more

I’m realllllly feeling all the warm autumn colours the past few weeks, if my pictures weren’t enough of an indication. After spring, autumn is by far my favourite season. I guess I just like those transition months. It’s been a while since I took a picture with my bff4life, Harper, so I asked her yesterday if she was up for it, and of course she said yes, how could she turn me down!

Pretty sure I’ve written before about how much I love this girl, but I’ll say it again. All the sweet, cute, mushy, cheesy things you can imagine – that’s how I feel about her. I’m so thankful to have her as part of my life.

Anyway, onto the stuff in the picture, which I know is what you’re really reading for! Pixicat released these sweaters as part of the small Ferosh collection a couple of weeks ago, but today she’s put 2 colours – the orange that I’m wearing and a yellow – out for FLF. Don’t miss out on the chance to grab such a great bargain and pay a visit!

We’re both wearing hair that you can find at the Mystic Realms Faire, mine is by Tableau Vivant and Harper’s is from Exile. I love the flow of both of them and that they are long with hairs without being BIG, if that makes sense? Don’t get me wrong, I love a bit of volume, but not always into big cartoony or princessy looking hair. The loose curls and waves on the Tableau Vivant are just perfect, I do love curly hair in SL, probably coz my RL curly hair will never look that perfect!

The shoes on me are from Reign and are out at The Season’s Story. I love casual flats like these, they’re so easy to wear day to day. I expect if you see me around the grid just in the day time, that I’d be wearing these. A perfect inventory staple.

Cheeky Pea have released a few items lately, this autumn cosy is out at The Mens Dept and comes in several different prints, as well as both an adult and PG version. There’s also a set from them at The Season’s Story, which I used a few decor pieces from like the tall pumpkin stacks, acorn lights and the lamp ladder.
