The Saloua Raouda Choucair Foundation, designed by Karim Bekdache in Ras El Matn, is a small but prestigious museum dedicated to the artist. Nestled in the mountainous landscape, the foundation stands on the site where Choucair lived during the final years of her life, reflecting her vision of art as part of everyday life, with her works displayed in the garden. We developed a lighting strategy that integrates the sculptures with the landscape, making them appear as sources of light. Focusing on key features instead of flooding the area with brightness, we created a gentle play of light and shadow that invites exploration. It suits a passion-born neighborhood café connected to its home."
