Since 1837, our mission has been clear: to support the people who provide the food, fuel, fiber, and infrastructure that keep America moving. Farmers and contractors have always been at the heart of that story. And we’re just getting started. With continued investments in U.S. manufacturing, we look forward to shaping progress for the next two centuries and beyond.

From a single steel plow to shaping America’s future—what a journey! I’m excited to share that John Deere has been named to TIME’s list of America’s Most Iconic Companies. This recognition isn’t just about the Deere brand. It reflects nearly 200 years of helping build America from the ground up. Starting with that first plow in 1837 to the innovations powering farms, construction sites, and communities today, Deere has always stood for more than equipment.   We’re proud to be: ✅ Born here. Built here. Here to stay. ✅ Investing in U.S. manufacturing and jobs including the $199M investment in Harvester Works in East Moline. ✅ Committed to equipping those who feed, clothe, and fuel our country with the tools they need to be successful.   For me, this isn’t just a headline. It’s a reminder of what drives us every day: building America with innovation, quality, humanity, commitment, and integrity.   👉 Check out the full list of America’s Most Iconic Companies on TIME: https://lnkd.in/g6Mgybj6   Here’s to continuing that legacy together! 💚

Our Dubuque Works factory just got a major glow-up! We collaborated with world-renowned artist Greg Gossel to transform a large wall into a mural that celebrates our heritage and future. “The mural is a symbol of progress, purpose, and our commitment to American manufacturing and to the customers who trust us to keep them moving forward,” says Alex Fernandez, factory manager. “As we invest nearly $20 billion in the U.S. over the next decade, this artwork inspires us as we continue to deliver for those who count on us every day,” he added.

One of our favorite traditions continues – the annual John Deere employee holiday card. This year’s artwork, created by retired employee David Anderson, celebrates the season and the shared commitment we have with our customers to keep the world moving forward. Happy Holidays!

Fertilizer. It’s one of the biggest expenses for farmers during planting season. And that’s where ExactShot™ helps farmers do more with less. "ExactShot is a John Deere product that tackles two pain points for farmers: maximizing returns and reducing refill time," explained Jon Ebert, product management and marketing lead. “By dosing fertilizer directly on each seed, farmers maintain yield while cutting in-furrow starter rates by up to 60% and plant more acres per day with fewer stops." The payoff? - Up to $48 per acre in cost savings - Estimated $24 per acre in added revenue - Fewer stops, more acres planted per day The best part? Farmers don’t need a new planter—the tech is available as a Precision Upgrade for current machines. Read more: http://spr.ly/6041COnO3

That perfect tree in your living room? It’s been in the making for nearly 15 years! At Krueger’s Christmas Tree Farm in Minnesota, families wander through rows of balsam firs, sipping cider and making memories. What they might not realize is that the tree they’re cutting today has been growing for over a decade: - 3 years as a seedling - 2 years in transplant beds - Up to 10 years of hand-trimming in the summer heat Across the country, farmers like the Kruegers and the Weirs from New Hampshire have turned a simple holiday tradition into a craft that spans generations. These growers are innovating while also preserving what matters most: connection to land, family, and community. So, how do you make your tree last? The key is consistent watering. "Keep it cool and watered, and it'll last just as long as one cut yesterday,” Jay Weir, Weir Tree Farms, advises. “If you let it go dry, even for half a day, it will seal over and stop drinking. That's when needles drop.”

Big changes are happening at John Deere Seeding in Moline—and they’re all about building a safer workplace and delivering unmatched precision for farmers.   Throughout my nearly decade-long journey at seeding, I’ve seen firsthand how innovation transforms not only our products, but also the way we work.   Over the past five years, we’ve modernized offices, upgraded product lines, and invested millions to make work safer and improve quality.   The most recent example: a bold $30 million investment in a new row unit product line designed to make work safer and deliver the precision needed in the field.   In this new operation, robotic systems now handle the heavy lifting—reducing ergonomic risks for employees—while advanced technology ensures seed placement accuracy farmers can count on.   Want to see how we’re shaping the future of planting?
