We’re excited to recognize Shireena Avery, whose creativity, warmth, and passion for community continue to strengthen our culture. Shireena plays a crucial role in uniting team members and families, leading with positivity and a can-do attitude that inspires others to get involved. Her impact was on display during the 2025 combined Trunk-or-Treat and Open House, where she turned two events into one memorable experience, delivering meaningful engagement. Her resourcefulness and careful planning demonstrate what’s achievable when creativity and teamwork unite. Shireena encourages newcomers to stay innovative and embrace hands-on problem-solving, noting that not every plan will unfold perfectly, but adaptability builds self-assurance. Amid constant change, Shireena remains calm by focusing on what she can control and helping her team stay aligned on shared goals. We’re proud to celebrate Shireena’s leadership and the joyful, connected workplace she helps foster.

Driving is more than putting cars to pavement. It involves making a connection between man and machine. Volkswagen is proud to collaborate with Torsten Gross and Just Hands Foundation to show how passion and purpose can combine in the pursuit of greater accessibility. Watch Torsten’s owner story and learn about the 2025 Golf GTI we provided to Just Hands Foundation, an organization founded to give people with disabilities the chance to experience high-performance driving with hand control-equipped vehicles. https://lnkd.in/edszyTwM

We’re excited to spotlight Andie Comer (Huber), Senior Content Producer in the Volkswagen Content Studio, in our latest People Who Drive Us series. Andie brings creativity, calm, and strategic thinking to every project she manages. In a fast-changing marketing landscape, she always looks for more innovative ways to work, expanding the in-house asset library, strengthening relationships with creators, and organizing post-mortems that help the team celebrate successes and learn lessons for future campaigns. As the production lead, she plans comprehensively and with foresight, outlining campaigns for the entire year to ensure a steady stream of content while managing the small but capable team's resources. She simplifies complex challenges into manageable steps, promotes open discussion, and cultivates a culture of curiosity and teamwork. For Andie, the most fulfilling part of her job is enjoying what she does and working with people who care. We’re proud to celebrate Andie’s leadership, creativity, and the positive energy she brings to every project.

This #GivingTuesday, we’re proud to celebrate Volkswagen Group of America employees making a difference coast to coast through volunteering, donations, and community engagement. We’ve had a packed schedule: In Chattanooga, over 100 volunteers from our Women in Motion Employee Resource Group (ERG) packed 10,000 meals for local children in need through Generosity Feeds. The Professional Women’s Network (PWN) ERG at our Arizona Proving Grounds supported women and families through school supply drives and career workshops. Auburn Hills IT&S and PWN ERG volunteers engaged future tech leaders by introducing students to computer and internet technologies, and the Reston-based Latino Employee Alliance Program ERG aided at-risk youth through Mobile Hope. The MilVets ERG hosted their annual car show, Dub Show ’N Shine, raising more than 500 canned goods for homeless veterans with over 70 show cars and 600 attendees. We're proud to drive positive change, on the road and in our local communities. Thank you to everyone who contributed to these and other efforts!

Few stages celebrate creativity and community quite like the LA Auto Show. At the center of it all is Azul, the 1977 T2 Microbus that became a symbol of resiliency during the Palisades Fire. Our Oxnard, California, team restored Azul to her pre-fire form, and we’re proud to share that story with the world. She stands side by side with the ID. Buzz in the booth, bringing together two eras of Volkswagen: our heritage restored and our vision for the future. In that same spirit, we teamed up with Candylab Toys to create a collectible Azul miniature, available exclusively at the Volkswagen stand. We’re also celebrating the legacy of the Golf, featuring the MotorTrend Group Car of the Year Golf GTI and Golf R, a Golf GTI inspired by global superstar J Balvin’s beloved “Rayo,” and a 2025 GTI adapted with hand controls to make high-performance driving more accessible for people with physical disabilities. There’s so much to experience, celebrate, and love from Volkswagen at this year's LA Auto Show!
